“Ashley went above and beyond with communicating with us while we were away! She connected with our anxious cat seamlessly and sent so many cute videos which were really appreciated! Would highly recommend Ashley!!”

“Terri was a fantastic cat sitter! My husband and I went away for 2 weeks, and Terri made us feel so safe to leave our cats in her care. She sent us daily updates about the cats and made sure they weren't feeling too stressed while we were away. She even made sure to visit during a snowstorm! I would absolutely book Terri again in the future to look after our cats.”

“It has to be a really special person for me to feel comfortable leaving someone in my house overnight with my baby. Samantha spent the weekend inmy home and took great care of my shitzhu-bision. She was flexible with her schedule and asked all the right questions. She is very upbeat and enthusiastic. She is confident in her experience and knowledge about dogs. She randomly touched base with me and sent lots of pictures ensuring me that Pippa was very happy. I would absolutely have Samantha come back again and would highly recommend her.”

“Ian was very professional and conscientious while caring for our two cats. He made sure to communicate and provide pictures throughout his stay. By the end of the week his gentle nature finally won over our shy cats.”
About: Hi! I’m Katie :) I’m a freelance environmental communications consultant with time on her hands and a love of all animals. Previously, I worked on farms caring for chickens and goats as well as two dogs. I love the outdoors and will happily take your dog on walks! I grew up with a Beagle and a Beagle-bloodhound mix and would pet-sit the next-door neighbor's Beagle as well as another neighborhood golden retriever. When walking or petsitting your dog, I'll make sure to give them lots of attention, active play, and follow your dirctions to the T! I'm more than happy to take photos or videos of your dog for you and will provide updates on how they're doing. Due to my love of animals and nature, 10% of revenue from each booking is donated to Painted Dogs Conservation, a nonprofit protecting the endangered African Painted Dogs in Zimbabwe. Given my current freelance work, I’m able to spend extended periods of time with your pets. You tell me how often you need your dog walked or checked-in on and I’ll adjust my schedule to accommodate it :) While taking care of your pet, safety is the Number 1 concern. There will be double checks of leashes, no doors opened unless the dog is secure or faraway from it, and regular communication to you to confirm what is going on with your animal.

“I recently went away for 4 days and Laura watched my cat Felipe for me. As a first time cat owner and adopting Felipe almost 3 months ago, I was very nervous about leaving Felipe alone especially over night. Laura kept me updated the whole time, sent me pictures at every drop in to ease my worries and even did some extra drop ins to give him a little company. This was my first time using Laura as my cat sitter and she was absolutely amazing with Felipe. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby”

About: * I have been taking care of my family dogs for nearly 20 years. After moving out on my own I have had the ability to rescue two cats who I love to spoil and care for since I couldn’t have a dog. I’ve recently moved in with my gf and we have an older dog. I love walking dogs and helping owners take care of their animals since I couldn’t have my own for so long due to where I lived. I’d love to be able to help you with your animals and give them exercise and love while you are at work and out of town. I currently work full time in the New Haven area but live in Fairfield! I work a typical 9 am to 430 pm job. I have no issue being up early or staying up late. During the week I can walk your dog or drop in anytime between 4am and 7am and 5:30pm and 11pm. From Friday at 5:30pm until Sunday at midnight I am fully available! If I stay at your home to watch your animal, I will only be gone for work and an hour at the gym. I love my cat and dog and spoil them like crazy. I would treat your animal as if they were my own with lots of love and attention and make sure they have everything they need. I will communicate with you about your animal throughout the visit and make sure you feel comfortable that they are being treated well.
About: I’ve cared for pets since I was 10yrs old, volunteered with animal rescues, trained puppies, and sat all sizes of animals! Experience in senior/special need care and medication dispensing. I have a large yard on a quiet, dead-end street in a residential area. Plenty of pet supplies if you need to borrow too, bowls, leashes, collars, etc.
About: I have several years of experience with all types of animals. I have spent a lot of timing researching and helping animals who need it, and I have even taken classes on animal care and behavior. I love animals and they always have, and will be, a big part of my life. My schedule does vary, but it is flexible. Monday evenings, tuesdays, Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday especially, I am generally available. I will always try to fit your pets in! Although I can not offer boarding, your pets safety and happiness is of the upmost importance. I will work based off of what your pet is expressing to me and what you tell me, combined with my own experience to keep everybody safe and happy!
About: I am currently a college student majoring in Pre-Veterinary medicine and I have been working as a vet assistant for over a year and a half now! Because of this, I am well-prepared to assist with any special needs or senior animals that need a bit more specialized care-I have learned a lot about general care, nutrition, warning signs, and behavior cues that the average sitter may not be able to recognize. I have owned up to 5 dogs in my house at a time, and I would love to be able to extend my experience to help you!! :) I work at a veterinary hospital 9-4:30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and volunteer at a horse farm from 10-12:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Any other time/day I am free. I am prepared to accommodate to whatever best fits the needs of your pet, whether that includes a crate, walks on a leash, playing outside, etc.
