About: Hi! I’m Katie :) I’m a freelance environmental communications consultant with time on her hands and a love of all animals. Previously, I worked on farms caring for chickens and goats as well as two dogs. I love the outdoors and will happily take your dog on walks! I grew up with a Beagle and a Beagle-bloodhound mix and would pet-sit the next-door neighbor's Beagle as well as another neighborhood golden retriever. When walking or petsitting your dog, I'll make sure to give them lots of attention, active play, and follow your dirctions to the T! I'm more than happy to take photos or videos of your dog for you and will provide updates on how they're doing. Due to my love of animals and nature, 10% of revenue from each booking is donated to Painted Dogs Conservation, a nonprofit protecting the endangered African Painted Dogs in Zimbabwe. Given my current freelance work, I’m able to spend extended periods of time with your pets. You tell me how often you need your dog walked or checked-in on and I’ll adjust my schedule to accommodate it :) While taking care of your pet, safety is the Number 1 concern. There will be double checks of leashes, no doors opened unless the dog is secure or faraway from it, and regular communication to you to confirm what is going on with your animal.

After moving out on my own I have had the ability to rescue two cats who I love to spoil and care for since I couldn’t have a dog. I’ve recently moved in with my gf and we have an older dog. I’d love to be able to help you with your animals and give them exercise and love while you are at work and out of town. I currently work full time in the New Haven area but live in Fairfield! I work a typical 9 am to 430 pm job. I have no issue being up early or staying up late. During the week I can walk your dog or drop in anytime between 4am and 7am and 5:30pm and 11pm. From Friday at 5:30pm until Sunday at midnight I am fully available! If I stay at your home to watch your animal, I will only be gone for work and an hour at the gym. I love my cat and dog and spoil them like crazy. I would treat your animal as if they were my own with lots of love and attention and make sure they have everything they need. I will communicate with you about your animal throughout the visit and make sure you feel comfortable that they are being treated well.

About: I’ve cared for pets since I was 10yrs old, volunteered with animal rescues, trained puppies, and sat all sizes of animals! Experience in senior/special need care and medication dispensing. I’m currently a grad student, so I have plenty of time to care and play with your pets! I’m available all day, Thursday-Monday, for walks and sitting! I have a large yard on a quiet, dead-end street in a residential area. Plenty of pet supplies if you need to borrow too, bowls, leashes, collars, etc.

I love animals and they always have, and will be, a big part of my life. My schedule does vary, but it is flexible. Although I can not offer boarding, your pets safety and happiness is of the upmost importance. About: I am currently a college student majoring in Pre-Veterinary medicine and I have been working as a vet assistant for over a year and a half now! Because of this, I am well-prepared to assist with any special needs or senior animals that need a bit more specialized care-I have learned a lot about general care, nutrition, warning signs, and behavior cues that the average sitter may not be able to recognize. I have owned up to 5 dogs in my house at a time, and I would love to be able to extend my experience to help you!! :) I work at a veterinary hospital 9-4:30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and volunteer at a horse farm from 10-12:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
