I can provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for pets in my home. My property features a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for supervised playtime and exercise, as well as a built-in kennel under my porch that’s spacious enough to comfortably accommodate even very large dogs. I always make sure pets have a secure, clean, and loving place to relax while they’re in my care. If your pet is more comfortable staying in their own home, I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I can stop by for drop-in visits or provide in-home pet sitting to handle feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, so I’m happy to provide whichever care option works best for your family.

About: I have several years of experience with all types of animals. I have spent a lot of timing researching and helping animals who need it, and I have even taken classes on animal care and behavior. I love animals and they always have, and will be, a big part of my life. My schedule does vary, but it is flexible. Monday evenings, tuesdays, Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday especially, I am generally available. I will always try to fit your pets in! Although I can not offer boarding, your pets safety and happiness is of the upmost importance. I will work based off of what your pet is expressing to me and what you tell me, combined with my own experience to keep everybody safe and happy!

About: I have been a dog owner for 15+ years, and have taken care of friends and families dogs along the way. I come from a family that lives on a farm, so I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens and bunnies all my life! I know how important outside time is, along with play and potty breaks! I am a teacher who has the summer off, so I am around during the day and evenings specifically during the week! I am looking for some walking buddies and extra outside time this summer. I am a responsible and reliable caretaker, I will always use a leash when outdoors at my home, and whatever the comfort level is for your home. There are lots of sidewalks and parks where I live that are dog friendly and I have a front porch where dogs can sit outside with me.

About: Hi, I’m Jessica. My love for animal care started in 2018 when my family rescued our dog, Chase, from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. Helping him feel safe, understood, and confident pushed me to learn more about dog body language, temperament, leash behavior, and how to care for each dog based on their needs. I originally entered college as a pre-veterinary Animal Science major and gained hands-on experience with animals, including sheep. I also competed in UConn’s Little I competition and placed second. Later, I shifted toward human medicine and changed my major to Allied Health Sciences on the pre-med track, but my love for animals never left. I also worked as a kennel assistant, where I cared for pets in a boarding environment and learned how important routine, safety, patience, and clear instructions are. Dogs are my strongest area, but I also have experience with cats and small animals through feeding and basic care. For pets with more specific needs, I’m very willing to learn and follow your instructions carefully. Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know their routine, temperament, walking style, triggers, favorite activities, nervous habits, and how they do around other dogs, cats, strangers, children, loud noises, or new environments. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, slow to warm up, or just very particular, I’d rather know upfront so I can care for them safely and calmly. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, companionship, and basic routine reinforcement. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m happy to follow the commands and routines you already use. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you clear updates and peace of mind. My schedule is currently flexible, especially for drop-ins and walks. I’m usually available during morning, afternoon, and evening time blocks, and I do my best to plan visits in a way that gives each pet enough time, patience, and attention. I’m also happy to discuss your pet’s usual routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, litter areas, water bowls, and anything the owner tells me is important. I also like to know about each pet’s temperament, triggers, hiding spots, leash behavior, and comfort level with new people so I can keep the visit safe and calm. For walks, I make sure pets are securely leashed before leaving the home and avoid unnecessary interactions with unknown dogs or people unless the owner says otherwise. I’m patient with shy, nervous, excited, or slower-to-warm-up pets, and I’d rather move carefully than rush them. I’ll also send clear updates, so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in high school. I am known as the dog-sitter in my neighborhood. When my neighbors go on vacation or away, I am always the first one called to watch their animals. While they are away, I feed and walk the dogs. I also have experience staying over night at various houses to dog sit. I’m currently working as a teacher, but we are off during the Summer. I have a lot of free time to take care of all of your pets needs. I am available Monday through Sunday. I will follow all of the instructions of the pet’s owner.
