About: Hi, I’m Jessica. My love for animal care started in 2018 when my family rescued our dog, Chase, from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. Helping him feel safe, understood, and confident pushed me to learn more about dog body language, temperament, leash behavior, and how to care for each dog based on their needs. I originally entered college as a pre-veterinary Animal Science major and gained hands-on experience with animals, including sheep. I also competed in UConn’s Little I competition and placed second. Later, I shifted toward human medicine and changed my major to Allied Health Sciences on the pre-med track, but my love for animals never left. I also worked as a kennel assistant, where I cared for pets in a boarding environment and learned how important routine, safety, patience, and clear instructions are. Dogs are my strongest area, but I also have experience with cats and small animals through feeding and basic care. For pets with more specific needs, I’m very willing to learn and follow your instructions carefully. Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know their routine, temperament, walking style, triggers, favorite activities, nervous habits, and how they do around other dogs, cats, strangers, children, loud noises, or new environments. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, slow to warm up, or just very particular, I’d rather know upfront so I can care for them safely and calmly. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, companionship, and basic routine reinforcement. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m happy to follow the commands and routines you already use. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you clear updates and peace of mind. My schedule is currently flexible, especially for drop-ins and walks. I’m usually available during morning, afternoon, and evening time blocks, and I do my best to plan visits in a way that gives each pet enough time, patience, and attention. I’m also happy to discuss your pet’s usual routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, litter areas, water bowls, and anything the owner tells me is important. I also like to know about each pet’s temperament, triggers, hiding spots, leash behavior, and comfort level with new people so I can keep the visit safe and calm. For walks, I make sure pets are securely leashed before leaving the home and avoid unnecessary interactions with unknown dogs or people unless the owner says otherwise. I’m patient with shy, nervous, excited, or slower-to-warm-up pets, and I’d rather move carefully than rush them. I’ll also send clear updates, so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I have been a dog owner for 15+ years, and have taken care of friends and families dogs along the way. I come from a family that lives on a farm, so I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens and bunnies all my life! I know how important outside time is, along with play and potty breaks! I am a teacher who has the summer off, so I am around during the day and evenings specifically during the week! I am looking for some walking buddies and extra outside time this summer. I am a responsible and reliable caretaker, I will always use a leash when outdoors at my home, and whatever the comfort level is for your home. There are lots of sidewalks and parks where I live that are dog friendly and I have a front porch where dogs can sit outside with me.
About: I am an Animal Behavior student with professional experience in dog daycare, training, educational animal programs, and wildlife rehabilitation. I have hands-on experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, small animals, reptiles, and rehabilitating wildlife in both professional and personal settings. Through my education and experience, I have developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and body language, allowing me to recognize signs of stress or discomfort and create a safe, calm, and positive environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I also work part-time in animal care, so my hours can occasionally vary, but I always do my best to accommodate different schedules and provide dependable, loving care for every pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I have experience working with animals in daycare, boarding, training, educational animal programs, and wildlife rehabilitation, so I understand how important patience, supervision, and routine are. I always respect owners’ instructions and work to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

Also, my weekends are very flexible. I currently live at a dog-friendly apartment with a dog park area and trails close by. As an active hiker, I have lots of energy for long walks. About: Caring for animals has been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home that always had two dogs at a time, and before moving out, my family had raised six wonderful dogs together. From energetic pups to older companions, I’ve experienced the full range of what it means to care for dogs through different stages of life. I currently share my home with two special-needs cats, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. Managing medications, monitoring behavior changes, and creating a calm, safe environment are all things I take seriously. My primary goal when caring for your pet is simple: I want them to feel happy, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I also know how important peace of mind is for owners. I’m communicative, reliable, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and cared for. I treat every animal with gentleness, respect, and the kind of attention I would want for my own pets. I work remotely in IT for a nonprofit organization, which gives me a very flexible weekday schedule. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having some furry company during the week. Whether that means a midday walk to break up my workday or a fuzzy companion nearby while I’m at my desk. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to structure my schedule around walks, feeding times, medication needs, or check-ins. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.
“Danielle is our perfect fit! Yesterday was our first walk and Myles actually snuggled with me at night because he was so tired. Navigating a 9 month old GSP energy has been such a challenge for us. She has totally put me at ease about having a stranger in our home taking care of our puppy. She's sweet, communicates well and updates you so you know your pup is doing well and all set. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I can remember as I grew up with lots of pets and took on responsibility for them from an early age. I have worked on a farm in the past, which gave me the chance to work with all kinds of animals. I love all animals, especially dogs. I have had the opportunity to channel that love into pet sitting and walking other pets for neighbors and clients for about a year. I have taken care of a variety of pets, especially dogs ranging from young puppies to seniors. With my care, clients can be assured that their pets will be safely taken care of and loved. I am a student home for the summer so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I am available throughout the day Monday through Saturday, so I will be able to dedicate lots of time to caring for your pet! I follow any specific instructions for pets, making sure they are well-fed and exercised. I am willing to either play with the pet at home or take them on walks, whichever is preferable.
