“Lucy has very quickly become one of my puppy’s best friends! Lucy took the time to get to know my dog, who is usually shy and anxious with new people. Lucy learned her likes and dislikes. Lucy is full of every and plays with my dog rather than just a walk. The walk is energetic and fun . My dog waits for Lucy and eagerly anticipates their fun times together. I have rebooked Lucy multiple times.”

“Rebecca is great! Great communication and always sends me a picture of Eli. It makes my day a lot better when I get to see his cute face when I’m at work.”

About: I have always had 4-8 animals. Have fed, walked, bathed and trained all of them. Charlotte, Oliver, Tipperary, and Kieran put a smile on my face every day. I have a few repeat dog-walking clients who I see in the afternoon. I work from home the rest of the time (on my own schedule) so I have very open availability. I walk both of my dogs every day and let them outside frequently. I bathe them once a month, giving them a good shampoo and condition. I regularly get my dogs nails clipped. My dogs love to play fetch so I make sure to get at least 15 minutes in every day. My cats’ litter boxes are always clean. I brush them every week and make sure to keep their nails clipped. They love chasing the laser pointer around. I would treat any clients animals the same as my own.

About: I‘ve had dogs and cats my entire life and hopefully forever. I currently have 3 adorable dogs and 2 amazing cats that are apart of my family. I have also cared for other pets in my experience working at a Veterinary Hospital and Boarding House. I worked in the boarding facility as well as the hospital so I’m no stranger to caring for cats and dogs (sometimes exotic animals). I also assisted the techs with various procedures. This means I can administer medication orally if it’s ever needed and I have the knowledge to be aware if something doesn’t seem right about your pet. I was additionally in charge of walking the dogs, even those in e-collars and paw protectors. I am working part-time as a photographer, but I will always have time for any animals! I enjoy early morning walks and afternoon play dates! My daytime schedule is between 7 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. I walk dogs usually between 9-4 pm to give myself enough time with each animal. When it comes to your pet, because I have schedule flexibility I’ll be able to drop in whenever it’s needed to make sure things are going smoothly while you’re away. I’ll be able to provide your pet with the snuggles and care that they need all the while keeping you updated with notes and photos so you feel confident and comfortable that your pets are being taken care of properly! My animals play daily and get loads of attention! I would treat your pets the same way. I don’t believe your pets are just pets. They’re apart of your family. All of the animals I’ve had have been treated the same way any one of my human family members are treated. Whatever is needed for them to be happy and content I will help provide.

About: I have taken care of and walked dogs for many years. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, from seniors to puppies. While away at college, I also foster local dogs and bring them to adoption events. I am a college student taking summer courses right now, so I have plenty of extra time to walk and care for dogs. Also, my weekends are very flexible. I have a large yard with no other dogs. As an active hiker, I have lots of energy for long walks. I also love hanging out with senior and low energy dogs.

About: I stand out with my genuine love for animals, tailored care for each pet, reliability, and extensive experience ensuring their happiness, health, and their safety. Im currently not working any other job, therefore I have plenty of time to play, walk and care for your pups as much as needed! I have a huge yard, plenty of space for us to play. A nice home for them to relax. I can take your pups out anytime needed!

About: I am a longtime dog owner and have been pet sitting since I was 13 years old and doing it professionally for almost 10 years. You can feel putting your pets needs in my hands while you are away. I currently have a moderately sized 3/4 fenced in yard with a run for lots of outdoor time. I also have a medium sized crate if needed.

About: I am currently working as a veterinary technician in an animal hospital in Seymour. I have been there for ~2 years now. Caring for animals has always and will forever be my passion in life. I personally have a 4 1/2 year old pit bull baby named Zeus, and 3 lovely cats. All of them being loved, extremely spoiled, and well taken care of; always. I work a full-time job as a veterinary technician, I work 4 days out of the week (8am - 6pm) and every other Saturday (8am - 12pm). I am off one day during the week (usually Wed. or Thurs.) and I am off every Sunday. I am able to fit in dog walks or sitting anytime after 6pm working hours, and if I'm not working then time really doesn't matter as long as personal life agrees. I have a dog that suffers from separation anxiety and I have had to learn how to manage. He is unable to be left home alone most times and if he must be left, he has to be crated (otherwise we come home to everything demolished). Ways I have worked to solve this problem with him is 1) anxiety medication that he gets almost daily 2) I try to avoid leaving him alone, if he can come then he is coming. Thankfully he is a great dog otherwise and bringing places isn't too much of a hassle. He does have major FOMO. I am a very easy person to work with, flexible, and a quick learner. If there is anything you feel is important for me to know, let me know.

About: Hi there! With 12+ years of professional pet care experience—and a lifetime of loving my own animals—I bring both expertise and genuine affection to every pet I meet. Over the years, I’ve cared for dozens of dogs, each with their own unique needs and personalities, from energetic pups to seniors needing daily meds and extra TLC. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping a sweet dog through cancer treatment— So happy to share that she is now as healthy and as playful as ever. And honestly? Belly rubs are great, but pet massages are my true specialty! I love giving your pet the extra relaxation and affection they deserve. And because I work from home, your dog is never far from company, comfort, and a warm lap. Whether it’s structured walks or cozy downtime, I create a calm, safe environment you can trust. Pets are family and always deserve to be treated as such. I work from home part-time, with a fair deal of flexibility and gaps throughout the day. Also, with a big backyard and a nature trail nearby, getting that outdoor time is an automatic given! Fortunately, my pup is well-trained and never strays from our unfenced yard. I recognize this may be a deterrent for some but please rest assured, if you consider me for your care-giving services, not only will there be a leash and constant supervision, but also even more outdoor walk time to make sure all that energy turns into a great long nap.

“Very helpful and flexible. Was wonderful at checking in with me and asking useful questions.”

“Claire was awesome!! I could not have chosen a more attentive and caring care giver for my fur baby. She went above and beyond to make sure Teddy was cared for so that I could relax and enjoy my first vacation since the pandemic. I would recommend her to anyone who loves their fur baby and wants a Rover associate to love them as well.”

“Moe was great! She was on time & communicated with me before & after the walk. She even came a few days before to meet us. Will continue to use her! :)”

About: Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a strong connection with animals—whether it's birds, cats, dogs, horses, or turtles. This deep bond is evident in how pets respond to me; I often hear from people that their pets display behaviors with me they don’t show with others, like unafraid nuzzling and purring. I have a 1.9-year-old service dog in training whom I adore. She is like a daughter to me, and I work hard to ensure she has a good quality of life. This personal experience enriches my understanding and approach to pet care. What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine passion for animals and my broad experience in pet care. I love working with pets of all ages. For puppies, I help them learn basic commands and good behavior through positive reinforcement, all while showering them with affection. For adult dogs, I ensure they receive the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection to keep them happy and healthy. When it comes to senior dogs, I provide gentle handling and extra attention to ensure their comfort and well-being. I have been through beginner training with my own dog and am currently in the process of training her to be a service dog. This experience has enhanced my understanding of training techniques and the unique needs of each pet. I also have experience taking temperatures and administering medication with an oral syringe. To showcase the care I provide, I include photos of pets I’ve cared for, highlighting their enjoyment and well-being. In my home, I ensure a secure environment with a 17'x10' RV fence in our front yard, providing a safe space for my Havanese and my neighbor's two peekapoos to play. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines and maintain a familiar environment to keep them comfortable. My goal is to create a safe and loving environment where every pet feels at home, cherished, and loved. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I am currently in transition and exploring new opportunities for full-time work. Spending time with animals is not only a joy but also a meaningful way for me to stay engaged and active. Pet care is something I deeply look forward to, as it allows me to combine my love for animals with a productive activity. Caring for puppies and kitties (or any dogs and cats, as they’re all puppies and kitties to me) is incredibly fulfilling. It allows me to supplement my income while indulging in my passion for animals. Each day spent with them aligns perfectly with my current life circumstances and brings me great satisfaction. In caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, safety and trust are my top priorities. At my home, I ensure a secure environment with a 17'x10' RV fence in our front yard, as our yard isn't fenced in. This setup provides a safe and enclosed space for my Havanese and my neighbor's two peekapoos to play and enjoy the outdoors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines and maintain their environment as familiar and comfortable as possible. I am attentive to their specific needs and preferences, ensuring they feel secure and at ease. Communication with pet parents is key, and I provide regular updates to keep them informed about their pets’ well-being. My commitment is to create a safe, trusting environment for every pet, whether in my care or in their own home, so they can thrive and feel loved.
