Jae is a lifesaver! She walked my dog, Bear, while I was recovering from surgery and even showed up reliably during a snowstorm. She is punctual, professional, and clearly a 'dog person.' Bear was always thrilled to see her and came back happy after every walk. Highly recommended!

About: I've lived with dogs since I was four, and have seriously cared for dogs since I was 12. My first dog lived to a grand age of 18, with loving care and judicious pet care. I currently care for 3 dogs at my home, one of whom is a large breed, and trained her from a stubborn attitude (Anatolian Shepherd-Great Pyrenees mix). My partners and friends all trust me greatly with their pets and rely on me for pet care. I currently work part time, and can work my hours around when you need me. I can stay all day with your dogs and provide necessary attention. I am comfortable with dogs of various sizes and temperaments. I can provide necessary attention, walk, crate, and clean up after your pets. I can also administer oral medication.

About: Hi! I’m Gianna and I am a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I grew up in a family that always had two or three dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for German Shepherds, Schipperkes, and Chihuahuas, and I’ve also looked after Shepherds, Pit Bull mixes, Labrador Retrievers, and many other breeds. Whether your dog is large or small, energetic or laid-back, I’m committed to providing them with the attention, love, and care they deserve. In addition to dogs, I grew up horseback riding and spending countless hours on farms surrounded by horses, goats, chickens, barn cats, and farm dogs. Being around animals has always been one of my greatest passions. I treat every pet as if they were my own family. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. I am currently a teacher on summer break, so I have a very open and flexible schedule to dedicate to pet care. When the school year begins, I am still available before school, during lunch breaks (if your home is close enough), as well as after school and in the evenings. I care for every pet as if they were my own. Whether that means cuddling on the couch, relaxing together, going on long walks, or visiting dog parks, I always tailor my care to meet each dog’s individual needs and personality. If your pet stays with me, they will have free access to my apartment and are welcome on the couch and bed if that’s what they’re used to. I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home during their stay. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I will treat your space with the utmost respect and keep it clean and just as you left it. I aim to maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and secure while you’re away.

About: Hi! I have grown up in a household where there were always multiple dogs of many breeds and even some cats. I love the company of pets and the energy I get while around them. I’ve watched over my families pets for years and those of close friends. Can’t wait to have my own home of four legged friends in the future! I have the commitment of school (until June) and a few after school activities but I have a fairly open schedule usually, especially on weekends. I try to always create an environment where my pets feel relaxed and stress free while understanding their needs when they try to communicate them. I will make other pets feel comfortable, excited, and stress free while fulfilling their adventurous nature.

About: I've always had dogs in my life, primarily large breeds, and currently own three dogs and three cats. I helped raise a litter of seven puppies from birth to 12 weeks, giving me extensive experience with puppy care and development. I've also dog-sat for family friends many times and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care so both you and your pet can feel at ease. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work freelance for a marketing agency from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, and companionship. I also stream online and bartend one evening per week, but my schedule allows me to be available throughout the day and accommodate most pet care needs. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routines and making sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. Since I only offer care in clients' homes, my goal is to keep your pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine in a familiar environment. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication administration (if needed), playtime, and any special care requirements. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and routine. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, active play, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I make sure they receive the attention and care they need while you're away. I also respect and care for your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're gone.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers, so I’m very comfortable around larger dogs and learned from a young age how to properly handle, train, and care for them. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for pets belonging to friends and family. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and plenty of attention. I’m a lifelong animal lover and will treat your pet like they’re my own. I currently have a Siamese cat named Skye who is 2 years old, and plan on getting a dog once I have a larger place and yard! I currently work remote, so I am flexible Mon-Thurs during the day/night. Please just provide at least a 1 day notice so I can plan ahead. I always make safety and trust my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific house rules. I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home, and I’ll make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. I also understand that every pet has a different personality, so I’ll give them the time, patience, and attention they need to feel comfortable with me.

About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover, and caring for pets has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent years helping friends and family by watching their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they could trust. I have experience with pets of all ages and personalities, including giving medications when needed. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or just wants someone to keep them company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re comfortable and make sure they feel safe and cared for. I also have two cats of my own, so I know how much our pets mean to us. I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for them the same way you would, and that’s exactly the kind of care I strive to provide. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, keep you updated with messages and photos, and make sure you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love the chance to meet you and your furry family members! I currently have full time availability until 8/30/26. I am currently available during the week or on weekends. Beginning 8/31, I will only have availability after 4:30pm or on weekends! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect both your home and your pet’s routine by following your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, or any special care they need. I’ll make sure doors and gates are secure, keep a close eye on your pet during walks and outdoor time, and provide regular updates with photos so you know they’re doing well.

About: Hi! My name is Kaylah and I am a full time college student studying Business Administration. I’ve had a strong love for animals since I was a child, and no job is too big or small for me! I own a two year old miniature schnauzer named seven who is the silliest, hyper cuddle bug you’ll probably ever meet. he has changed my life in so many ways and everyday i am so grateful to be his person and best friend. whenever i'm not working i love spending time with him, so you’ll usually find us hiking, training, filming videos, or running around a random field. Although I am a dog lover first I truly have a soft spot for cats and would love to own one someday! I am here to help with all of your dogs/cat needs, whether that’s a nice walk, house sitting, a quick break, or just hanging out! I complete my college courses fully online so I am almost always available. I am also highly responsible, organized, and trustworthy. Your pets will be treated as part of the family when they are with me so there will be no need to worry :) I am a full time online college student, however my classes are asynchronous so I am available at almost any time that is needed for you! I will be your dogs greatest companion! We will go on long walks, have play time, and anything else that is needed to be done.

Bella went above and beyond during our puppy’s visit. What was supposed to be a 30-minute walk turned into nearly an hour because my puppy was timid and after wouldn’t go back into his crate. Instead of leaving, she stayed, was incredibly patient, and made sure he was calm and safely settled before she left. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. She’s reliable, compassionate, and truly treats the dogs she cares for as if they were her own. I’m so grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
