About: Retired Certified ALAA Breeder and business owner. I have owned and cared for a variety of animals, including goats and chickens. Love them all! (No snakes or reptiles). I retired a few years early. I am very active! I love to walk every day in any weather. I don’t currently have any pets of my own,(which allows me for occasional travel opportunities ) so I am filling my days for fur baby companionship by caring for yours! I am available to stay in your home for short or extended periods while you are away. I am experienced at giving medication, injections, Vet trips and other light chores. I am meticulous and responsible.

About: Unfortunately my current apartment doesn’t allow me to have a pet. My prior family dog, the sweetest lab ever recently passed so now I would love to help other owners and to be around other dogs or animals! I work off hours for my patients. I have availability on weekends and mornings before I go in or in the evening after I get out. I am very active and go on walks multiple times per day anyways. If your dog is looking for exercise while you are away, I think I would be a great fit.

“I was so impressed with Heather. She did a great job with my two furbabies (two small dogs). I was so nervous to leave them, but she took excellent care of them. She was commmunicative and responsive the entire stay. My younger dog can struggle to warm up to new people, but she was incredible with him- he clearly liked her a lot. Heather was also flexible about changing the booking dates around so that I could spend more time with my dying parent. It meant the world to me to be able to spend an extra day at home. She also kept the apartment clean and tidy and even washed the sheets for me. I was so grateful and appreciative for Heather’s help with my dogs while I was away. Would definitely use her again for future pet sitting needs!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I helped care for my family’s Shih Tzu, Kelly, who lived a long life and gave me experience caring for an older dog and understanding the extra patience and attention senior pets need. More recently, I had my Frenchie, Tyson, who recently passed away. We spent so much time together going on daily 3-mile walks, cuddling, playing, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Caring for him taught me how important consistency, love, patience, and attentiveness are when it comes to pets. What sets me apart is the genuine care and connection I build with animals. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same love, comfort, and attention I gave my own dogs. I’m available every morning for walks and again after 5:30 PM for afternoon/evening walks. We have a small fenced-in yard, and I love spending time outside with dogs for fresh air, playtime, and walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine and any instructions they provide to help their pet feel comfortable and secure. If crating is part of their routine, I’m comfortable using a crate both in my home or the client’s home when needed. About: Having grown up with a dog and a cat and a hamster, my love of furry friends started young! I sat for neighbors for years and then began sitting for families whose kids I taught swim lessons at the town pool. I went to college pre-vet and worked at a vet’s office for several years before getting into restaurant work. Now I’m looking to get back to my animal-loving roots and can’t wait to make your best friend’s day! Cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits and many others are all creatures I’ve comfortably cared for short or long term.
