About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I helped care for my family’s Shih Tzu, Kelly, who lived a long life and gave me experience caring for an older dog and understanding the extra patience and attention senior pets need. More recently, I had my Frenchie, Tyson, who recently passed away. We spent so much time together going on daily 3-mile walks, cuddling, playing, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Caring for him taught me how important consistency, love, patience, and attentiveness are when it comes to pets. What sets me apart is the genuine care and connection I build with animals. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same love, comfort, and attention I gave my own dogs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just calm companionship, I’m happy to adapt to their personality and routine. I’m available every morning for walks and again after 5:30 PM for afternoon/evening walks. I love starting the day with long walks and giving pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I’m also available for boarding on Fridays through Sundays. On weekends, I enjoy spending extra time with pups, whether that’s relaxing together, grabbing a pup cup, or visiting the dog park if that’s something your dog enjoys! I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. In my home, pets will have lots of attention, supervised outdoor time, and space to relax. We have a small fenced-in yard, and I love spending time outside with dogs for fresh air, playtime, and walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine and any instructions they provide to help their pet feel comfortable and secure. If crating is part of their routine, I’m comfortable using a crate both in my home or the client’s home when needed. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while in my care

I also keep their living areas clean, whether that’s scooping litter boxes, picking up after walks, or washing food and water bowls. I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember - basically, if it has fur, fins, wings, or whiskers, I'm a fan. I've proudly been a cat mom since 2010 and my 3 current babies are my whole world (and let's be real, my personality too). Since 2023, I've been volunteering with cats and small animals at a local shelter (affectionately known there as "Cat Rachel"), working with cats of all different temperaments -from shy wallflowers, snuggly lovebugs, fur divas, and the “don’t-look-at-me” types. I've also been pet-sitting on and off since 2010 including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, and tropical fish. Mondays through Thursdays: AM & PM visits before and after work, sometimes can do a lunchtime visit if in Ridgefield. Fridays: AM & PM visit, sometimes can do a lunchtime visit if in Shelton, overnight stays. Saturdays and Sundays: Flexible, 3 visits a day, and overnight stays. Safety is my #1 priority - ensuring your pets feel secure and comfortable. My goal is to provide a stress-free, trustworthy experience which is why I only accept bookings I can confidently handle based on each pet's needs and my experience. During my visits: - I respect your space and follow all care instructions and house rules. - I ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure. Doors are opened with extreme caution. - I ensure they have access to everything they need and their water dishes are full. - For cats, even if they sometimes goes outside, they must be and remain inside for the entirety of my visit. I will ensure their litter boxes are cleaned. - For dogs, there will be double checks of leashes, collars, and/or harnesses.

About: I've taken care of a neighbors dog by giving them walks, playtime, and monitoring their water and food while the family was on vacation. I'm a college student and will be back in late May from school and will be in Fairfield CT until early August when I go back to school. However I'll be back for the holidays and will update my schedule for hiw long I'm staying. I plan to take care of pets in clients home by finding g a time to meet with the owners to discuss if there are any specifics their pet may need. This would also be a good time to learn more about the clients and what their expectations are. As well as taking time to be around the pet for some time before the initial job begins, for each new client.

I’m comfortable around dogs of all kinds and happy to learn your pup’s personality, routine, and individual needs. Whether we’re walking, playing, visiting the dog park, or simply spending time together, I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I don’t currently have a dog of my own since we live in a condo, but having one again is definitely in my future! I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets through Rover part-time. Depending on your location, I’m usually available as early as noon, with even more flexibility after 3 PM. For dog walking, I’ll make sure your pup gets a safe, enjoyable walk based on their usual routine, energy level, and needs. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have, including preferred routes, walking pace, feeding or water needs, and how they interact with other dogs. I’ll give them plenty of attention, exercise, and care while we’re together.

About: My name is Katiana Thoby and I have been dog sitting since 2017. I am able to watch your cute pets any time of the week (unless the day is marked off)! You will love my patience, kindness, and affection towards the dog. I've watched my friends' dogs before and learned how to work with them and take care of them properly. I enjoyed playing some games like fetch and running around with them. Since my parents don't like animals, I can't have my own dog. When I have my own house, I want a dog of my own so this will be a good experience for me. Thank you and I hope to work with you soon.. I am currently working full time so I will be available to dog sit on the weekends or tuesdays after 5:30pm! Just let me know in advance and I can open a booking for you. I will be available on some holidays but I will let you know in advance! Please make sure to book at least two days in advance. That way, I can make sure I don’t have any other appointments that day. I may accommodate some last minute bookings if I am available the whole stay period. Most of the time, they stay indoors and I attend to them as much as possible! They will be fed on the times provided and well taken care of! If you would like me to provide a bath as well, please let me know. I love playing with them so I usually bring your pets to the park as long as the owner is okay with it (also provides a leash)!
