About: I have extensive experience with caring for dogs. Previously having two old rescues of my own, I completely understand the core values it takes to be an outstanding dog caregiver. The core necessities being, hydration, socialization and compassion. Keeping pets hydrated with fresh cool water in a clean bowl, especially in the heat of the end of summer, is key to keeping them healthy and active! Socialization with both humans and animals alike for household pets adds to their character and personality. Plus, believe it or not, dogs love to make friends just as much as we do! And finally compassion. This word describes how enthusiastic and passionate I am towards loving animals. I feel that if you show our furry companions compassion and love that they will return that to you ten fold. I ensure you that I will care and love your dog as if he/she were my own!

“This was our first time using Layla, and she stayed at our house with our dog Hank - it was a wonderful experience! We have only had Hank for a month (he's a rescue from the south), so we were a little nervous to leave him after having had him such short a time and since he's had some separation anxiety during this transition. Layla came to meet Hank in advance, and it was obvious that she is a total dog person and so kind and caring. He took to her right away and was excited to see her again when she came to stay. She was incredibly responsive and professional - she sent daily pictures/videos/updates and kept us in the loop on everything. In addition to how well she cared for Hank, Layla left our home cleaner than the way she found it. Layla is wonderful, and I recommend her highly...we are already looking forward to the next time she can come stay with Hank!”

“John was amazing! He took care of both of our dogs like they were his own. One of our dogs has epilepsy and requires lots of medication, which he was able to manage and that was a huge relief to us. She even suffered a seizure while we were gone, and he took care of what she needed. We’re always nervous to leave her because her seizure disorder is tricky, but John did not seem flustered by anything. We got videos and pictures, which we loved. The house was taken care of too. Do not hesitate to hire John! We will definitely hire him again!”

From her previous shorter stay, I knew I had no worries leaving Boots in her care, even with all the medical issues Tammy had to contend with. Boots loved all the attention Tammy consistently gave her. Tammy's personality and love of kitties is apparent and her diligence in caring for Boots as well as our home were exceptional. I will continue to have Tammy return to our home for future getaways.”
