Maly is amazing. She watched our two standard poodles for 10 days! That is a lot of dog for 10 days. She is kind, communicative, helpful…responsible - all of the things. You would be lucky to have her care for your pets. Our dogs love her - and aren’t they the best reviewers????

Sabrina was so helpful! Had a family emergency and needed someone to walk my dog tank as he would have been home for 12 hours by himself. She immediately responded and was able to walk him twice today! She sent pictures both times and gave feedback on how he was on the walks. Thank you so much Sabrina, will absolutely be reaching out again when I need some help!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. I have over 10 years of hands-on dog experience, from growing up with my Yorkie to being a proud dog mom to my Chihuahua for six years and my Pit Bull for four years. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I provide the same love, patience, and attention that I gave my own pets through walks, playtime, feeding routines, cuddles, and companionship. Your dog will be treated like family, with a safe and caring environment where they can feel comfortable while you’re away. My schedule is flexible and varies week to week, which allows me to accommodate different pet care needs. Since I do not have a set schedule, I’m able to plan around bookings and provide reliable care with advance notice. I appreciate at least one week’s notice when possible so I can make sure I have enough time to prepare and give your pet my full attention. I’m committed to being dependable, communicating clearly, and creating a comfortable routine for each pet I care for. Creating a safe, trusted, and comfortable environment for pets is my top priority. Although I am not currently able to have pets in my own home after recently moving, I still have so much love and care to give. Being able to spend time with and care for animals outside of my home is something I truly enjoy, especially after losing my Pit Bull who was such an important part of my life. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I take the time to learn each animal’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. My goal is to give every pet the same patience, attention, and compassion I would want someone to give my own.

About: Having grown up with a dog and a cat and a hamster, my love of furry friends started young! I sat for neighbors for years and then began sitting for families whose kids I taught swim lessons at the town pool. I went to college pre-vet and worked at a vet’s office for several years before getting into restaurant work. Now I’m looking to get back to my animal-loving roots and can’t wait to make your best friend’s day! Cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits and many others are all creatures I’ve comfortably cared for short or long term. I can check on, feed, play with or administer medications (including injections) to all your pets. As an avid reader, I’m also happy to just sit home with your shy friends so they aren’t alone in the house, even if they’d rather not come out to play! I’m currently looking to make this my full time job so I’m completely available to you! My routine will depends mostly on your needs, but I’m completely flexible on timing. I can drop in or hang out or stay over, all depends what you need for your friend! Since leaving my restaurant work behind, I don’t have any daily commitments at the moment but I’m very used to flexible hours and happy to work with you to find the best routine!

About: I am a 36 year old woman who loves loves loves animals especially DOGS ! I currently have two dogs, Bennie (whom I've had for 13 years) and Max. This is my first time professionally putting myself out there to take care of others animals, but my experience comes from the love and care i provide my own two little dogs. I've owned a total of 4 dogs and they are beyond amazing. I have a balcony , parks very close by, lots of toys and most importantly patience and love to care for dogs. Please be advised that i work professionally 8-4pm during the weekday, i am normally home by 6:45 pm (i am able to negotiate workable drop off and pick up times) My weekends are free all day Saturday through Sunday. I also own a doggy camera so your dogs will be safe and secured. I love animals and love to host all different types of breeds, big, small, old, puppies you name it. This is an amazing learning experience for me and i have a great understanding for animal behavior. I fully present with the animals. I have enough space in my apartment to provide eating and sleeping sections for dogs that i board. They will be provided with comfort and space to play on a carpeted balcony. They also are walked 3 times per day.

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for free for years, everything from small cats to large pit bulls. I’m a genuine pet lover but due to travel have been unable to have my own so I love the opportunity to help others with their furry companions. I currently work part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pets. I work mostly in the mornings 3-4 days a week. I will not be boarding pets, however in my home we have a fenced in yard that we allow our dogs to play around in under supervision a few times a day and then he is taken on leashed walks at least twice a day.

About: I’ve been taking of animals since I was 11, I got my fist dog at 11 and he was my responsibility. Ever since then we’ve always had at least one dog at home, big and small. I started having cats at the age of 14, I’m experienced with cats as well as big, small and medium dogs. My family members have entrusted me to care for their pets while away and it’s always been a pleasure watching after them. I currently have dogs and cats of my own, 2 dogs and 6 cats. I was in a pet grooming course for a year, so I’d be happy to accommodate grooming needs such as baths, and comfort groomings. I’m currently unemployed, so I’m pretty flexible on when I can care/look after your pets. I have no issues with early mornings or late afternoon checkups on your pups or cats. My pets get fed twice a day and the cats get their space cleaned everyday. With 6 cats that’s a lot of litter boxes so I can help with that too.

About: Ive taken care of dogs at a very young age considering Ive had them as pets. To me, animals are a part of your family who you may not always trust with just anyone. I guarantee to care, love, and have best forms of communication when welcoming your pets into my home. Im currently working a part/time as a medical assistant in milford. With weekends completely off, my weekly schedule varies but i do have an hour lunch which allows me to stop home. My lovely humble home has a fenced backyard and offers two parks & grass field I can walk them to for some exploring. I currently have no pets so all my focus will be on your pup. Im completely comfortable with being on furniture or snuggling with me. I consider myself a very disciplined human with day to day goals and routines, meaning I will respect all rules and accommodations to your pups food schedule, walking and Potty trainings.

About: I have immense experience working with animals. I had a pet dog in my youth named Ollie, a little bulldog. Whom I loved very much and took very good care of. I walked him, fed him, played with him. He and I were the best of friends. I also had a pet cat named Dana and four parakeets named Speedy, Flighty, Frisky, and Sheila. I loved all of those animals very much, but by the time I went to college I had to give them all up because I wouldn't have anytime for them. Which wouldn't have been fair to them because animals need a lot of loving attention and when you know in your heart that you can't provide that any longer then the only reasonable thing to do is put them up for adoption into another family's home. So I understand animals and know that they are sentient, feeling, and living beings who need loving care from people. I also worked in several pet shops and cared for the animals there and I was a Wag Walker who walked dogs. So to sum up I am an animal person my heart goes out to all animals in need and who are suffering from neglect. I always make the effort to make their lives better than when I found them. My schedule is wide open because I am not working right now and I would really like to take in dog boarders because it will be nice to have friendly dogs to get to know. My schedule is flexible and I can accommodate any dog owner's boarding scheduling needs. The home environment is very pleasant. I have a big backyard with a huge oak tree for your dog to play under. I have fencing all over with the exception to the area next to the marsh. That part of the fence blew down in a hurricane storm. The remaining pieces of the fence are still up on the sides of the property and a section of the fence next to the driveway is gone as well. Blew down in the same hurricane storm. But I got a completely fenced in picket fence area in the front yard complete with a gate that closes. This area also allows access to the front door of my house. The marsh in the backyard has a lot of over growth reeds and marsh grass that acts as a natural barrier to keep the dog out of the marsh. I will make sure that the dog is on the leash when in the backyard just to be safe. I am located near the beach area and can take the dog on walks near there. There are many friendly dogs in my neighborhood for your dog to get to know. I have a brother that lives with me and he loves dogs too and rest assured that your dog will receive lots of love and attention from my brother and myself. I am starting work soon as a school van driver with Dattco. My schedule is a split shift schedule with a few hours in the morning and again in the afternoon. I can board your pet and take care of your pet when I'm home and for a few hours while I'm at work I will keep your pet in my apartment in a kennel cage that you will provide for me. I will leave your pet in the house with plenty of food and water and when I get home I will make sure that your pet is walked right away. And my job site is the vehicle the company provides me. I can probably take the dogs with me to work by sitting them in the front passenger seat. Provided that they behave themselves. If not then I will most likely leave them caged in a kennel cage at my apartment. I live in an area where there's the boardwalk nearby to walk the dog on and take them to the beach as well. There are a lot of dogs in that part of the neighborhood to interact with and a lot of places to go for walks on. Now that the weather is getting warmer you can expect the dogs going out with me as often as possible.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
