About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: I’m a young adult who misses her dog and works from home, so your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day :) I live in StuyTown and am happy to provide walks, drop-ins, boarding, and lots of care and cuddles. I treat every dog like they’re my own! I have references if needed, your dog will be in great hands! I have a flexible schedule, and although my work calls may vary weekly, I’m usually available. I’ve always lived with dogs, so integrating walks, playtime, and care into my routine comes naturally. I care for all dogs as if they are my own. My walks are 30 minutes minimum, and I always make sure to have water ready after every walk.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life (currently have a 17 year old dog!). I have taken care of friends and family members pets for about 2 years. I’m currently working full time as a registered behavioral technician. I am also receiving my masters part time. I am hoping to work on weekends and 5pm or later on week days. I have a fenced back yard and a sweet Bichon Frise that is 17 years old. At a clients home I make sure the pet is cared for and safe.

About: I’ve cared for and trained my dog since he was 8 weeks old and feel I have the patience to really get to know an animal and earn their trust. I work full time on week days, but am very flexible during evenings and on the weekends have pretty open availability for walks/pet sitting ! I’m very conscious of any safety concerns around the home as I have a very mischievous dog myself. If I’m concerned about anything, I typically crate my dog until I know he’s safe. I try to always be aware of any body language or behaviors that any dog has that might need to be considered when out and and about. I strive to give your dog the same care that I give my own. About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for free for years, everything from small cats to large pit bulls. I’m a genuine pet lover but due to travel have been unable to have my own so I love the opportunity to help others with their furry companions. I currently work part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pets. I work mostly in the mornings 3-4 days a week. I will not be boarding pets, however in my home we have a fenced in yard that we allow our dogs to play around in under supervision a few times a day and then he is taken on leashed walks at least twice a day.

About: My family has had one or more dogs since I can remember; big and small, calm and active!
