About: Hello thank you for visiting my profile. I've cared for pets for as long as I can remember. As a kid I used to take in strays, give them water, feed them, and try to find their owner. My mom used to say I don't find dogs, dogs find me! This was the case when I was 15 living in Stamford. It was a cold snowy Christmas eve and I happened to look out my back window and noticed a shivering all bones scared Sheppard in the backyard. I immediately ran outside with a treat and gained her trust. It took weeks but with the help of a vet she was nursed back to health. I convinced my parents to take her in and I named her Founder (found her). Best dog ever! Today I continue to work with stray animals as the producer of “Perros de Colombia” (search IMDB) and was fortunate to care for my beloved Miniature Schnauzer Myles for 17 years so I do understand the time and energy to not only raise a dog, but to care for another person's pet as if they were my own. I'm an entrepreneur who works from home. My kids are now college graduates and my situation is ideal to dedicate my time and energy to care for your pet morning, day, nights, and weekends. About: I have immense experience working with animals. I had a pet dog in my youth named Ollie, a little bulldog. Whom I loved very much and took very good care of. I walked him, fed him, played with him. He and I were the best of friends. I also had a pet cat named Dana and four parakeets named Speedy, Flighty, Frisky, and Sheila. I loved all of those animals very much, but by the time I went to college I had to give them all up because I wouldn't have anytime for them. Which wouldn't have been fair to them because animals need a lot of loving attention and when you know in your heart that you can't provide that any longer then the only reasonable thing to do is put them up for adoption into another family's home. So I understand animals and know that they are sentient, feeling, and living beings who need loving care from people. I also worked in several pet shops and cared for the animals there and I was a Wag Walker who walked dogs. So to sum up I am an animal person my heart goes out to all animals in need and who are suffering from neglect. I always make the effort to make their lives better than when I found them. My schedule is wide open because I am not working right now and I would really like to take in dog boarders because it will be nice to have friendly dogs to get to know. My schedule is flexible and I can accommodate any dog owner's boarding scheduling needs. The home environment is very pleasant. I have a big backyard with a huge oak tree for your dog to play under. I have fencing all over with the exception to the area next to the marsh. That part of the fence blew down in a hurricane storm. The remaining pieces of the fence are still up on the sides of the property and a section of the fence next to the driveway is gone as well. Blew down in the same hurricane storm. But I got a completely fenced in picket fence area in the front yard complete with a gate that closes. This area also allows access to the front door of my house. The marsh in the backyard has a lot of over growth reeds and marsh grass that acts as a natural barrier to keep the dog out of the marsh. I will make sure that the dog is on the leash when in the backyard just to be safe. I am located near the beach area and can take the dog on walks near there. There are many friendly dogs in my neighborhood for your dog to get to know. I have a brother that lives with me and he loves dogs too and rest assured that your dog will receive lots of love and attention from my brother and myself. I am starting work soon as a school van driver with Dattco. My schedule is a split shift schedule with a few hours in the morning and again in the afternoon. I can board your pet and take care of your pet when I'm home and for a few hours while I'm at work I will keep your pet in my apartment in a kennel cage that you will provide for me. I will leave your pet in the house with plenty of food and water and when I get home I will make sure that your pet is walked right away. And my job site is the vehicle the company provides me. I can probably take the dogs with me to work by sitting them in the front passenger seat. Provided that they behave themselves. If not then I will most likely leave them caged in a kennel cage at my apartment. I live in an area where there's the boardwalk nearby to walk the dog on and take them to the beach as well. There are a lot of dogs in that part of the neighborhood to interact with and a lot of places to go for walks on. Now that the weather is getting warmer you can expect the dogs going out with me as often as possible.

My own dog, the sweetest lab ever, recently passed so I have started rover again to help other owners and to be around other dogs or animals! I work off hours for my patients. I have availability on weekends and mornings before I go in or in the evening after I get out. I am very active and go on walks multiple times per day anyways. If your dog is looking for exercise while you are away, I think I would be a great fit.
About: I’ve been welcoming other people’s dogs into my home for more than 20 years. It started because I knew firsthand how hard it was to leave my own dog when I traveled. I wanted there to be another option for people like me—people who couldn’t imagine leaving their dog in a kennel but also weren’t comfortable having someone stay in their home. What began as something I offered to friends became something I genuinely love doing. There’s something very special about watching a dog arrive in an unfamiliar place, helping them settle in and trust me, and eventually seeing them stretched out on the couch or curled up beside me as though they’ve always lived here. I still miss them when they go home. I board dogs from only one family at a time because I want their stay to feel less like boarding and more like their own vacation. While they’re here, they live with me as part of my household. I work from home and structure my days around them, so they have plenty of companionship and frequent access to my fully fenced yard. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from very small dogs to dogs over 100 lbs, as well as puppies and seniors. They’re welcome on my furniture and, if they sleep with their people at home, they’re welcome to sleep with me. I don’t routinely crate dogs, but I’ll maintain a dog’s crate routine if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I require a Meet & Greet before accepting a new dog because I want your dog to be comfortable with me, my home and my dog—and I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving them with me. After more than 20 years, the reason I do this hasn’t changed. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is enjoying theirs, too—living in a home, getting affection and companionship, and being cared for by someone who understands just how much they mean to you. While your dog is in my care, I structure my days around them. I work from home, have my groceries delivered and generally don’t schedule activities that require me to leave them alone. There’s no rigid boarding schedule here—their normal routine becomes part of mine. Whether they want to follow me around the house, nap beside me while I work, play, cuddle or head into the fenced yard, they have companionship throughout the day. While your dog is with me, I treat them as one of my own, with the same love, attention and care I give my own dog. Before a dog stays with me for the first time, I require a Meet & Greet with my dog so we can make sure they’re comfortable together before you leave your dog in my care. I board dogs from only one family at a time, so there aren’t unfamiliar boarding dogs constantly coming and going. My yard is fully fenced, and while your dog is here, I follow your instructions for feeding, medications and normal routines. I don’t crate dogs unless their family specifically requires it as part of their normal routine.

“I cannot say enough good things about Destiny. My sister originally booked Destiny to watch her dog with special needs during my wedding weekend. After reading her reviews, I asked if she could watch my two labs during the reception and overnight and she happily agreed. She also agreed to watch my sister-in-laws dog at the last minute, truly saving the day. She sent pictures of all the dogs and they looked like they were having a great time which put me at ease. She was also able to feed my "nephew" his pills with no issue which is not an easy feat. Finally, she continued to be flexible with our changing schedule and when we were late picking up the dogs because my car decided to die! If we lived closer to the area, Destiny would be my go-to. My mom and sister live in New York City and they already said they definitely intend to rebook. I really cannot thank her enough. Her backyard was perfect for the dog and the house was well kept. I had no concern leaving my girls there.”
About: I believe what sets me apart from other walkers is I take my time I’m more willing to let this take my whole day up because I love animals so much! I actually plan on taking dog training more seriously as a career considering I’ve been doing it for 8 years now. I can teach your puppy the basics for a small additional price, such as heel, sit, lay down, come, and I also am great with potty training puppies! I’m willing to help extra as well for no money at all! I also go to the extend of researching certain topics such as dogs diets, training, exercise, grooming and more! I am a Maligator mom (Belgian Malinois Mom) of Two and a Cat mom to six so I have no Off time, if I’m not at work or school! Pet care fits in my schedule hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly. I go for Hikes, Clubs, Farms, Vacations, and Etc with my animals for there needs and fun! I love this life and would not trade it for nothing! I’m eager to help others and even give others some of my knowledge so they can give there animals better lives. I Walk, Feed, play, cuddle, clean, bathe, and can take your dog to the Vet! I can even take them on hikes with me! I care for all animals with love, affection, and most important treats! I love to teach digs new things and give them more confidence in themselves and there families! One of the best things I can do is help you and your dog have the best life together possible! I even end up buying them new toys because I love to spoil them!
