About: Hi! I'm Rachel and I'd love to care for your pet! Willing to accept outside of my service range (rate changes may apply). I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember - basically, if it has fur, fins, wings, or whiskers, I'm a fan. I've proudly been a cat mom since 2010 and my 3 current babies are my whole world (and let's be real, my personality too). Since 2023, I've been volunteering with cats and small animals at a local shelter (affectionately known there as "Cat Rachel"), working with cats of all different temperaments -from shy wallflowers, snuggly lovebugs, fur divas, and the “don’t-look-at-me” types. I've also been pet-sitting on and off since 2010 including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, and tropical fish. If your trust your pet with me, I will: - treat them like they're part of my own fur-family - be patient while they warm up to me (I let them set the vibe) - follow your instructions and respect your home - give them dedicated quality time in the way they enjoy (whether that be play-time, cuddling, walks, quiet companionship, etc. - send regular updates and photos Basically, if your pet needs love, snacks, or someone to treat them like the tiny celebrity they are, I’ve got it covered. For full transparency I am a full-time working professional. I work in the Ridgefield area 4 days a week with Fridays as my work-from-home day. I'm really mindful about my schedule and only take on visits I can give my full attention to. While cats are definitely my specialty these days, I’m always happy to consider other animals too! Mondays through Thursdays: AM & PM visits before and after work, sometimes can do a lunchtime visit if in Ridgefield. Fridays: AM & PM visit, sometimes can do a lunchtime visit if in Shelton, overnight stays. Saturdays and Sundays: Flexible, 3 visits a day, and overnight stays. Safety is my #1 priority - ensuring your pets feel secure and comfortable. My goal is to provide a stress-free, trustworthy experience which is why I only accept bookings I can confidently handle based on each pet's needs and my experience. During my visits: - I respect your space and follow all care instructions and house rules. - I ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure. Doors are opened with extreme caution. - I ensure they have access to everything they need and their water dishes are full. - For cats, even if they sometimes goes outside, they must be and remain inside for the entirety of my visit. I will ensure their litter boxes are cleaned. - For dogs, there will be double checks of leashes, collars, and/or harnesses.

About: I’ve dog sat and walked for multiple families and cared for cats for 10+ years. I am looking to help local families with pet care I work fully remote and have a flexible schedule so I am able to assist in mornings, during the day, and evening regularly and consistently I have two cats at my apartment currently and have owned pets my entire life. For dogs or cats that I sit, I ensure a safe environment to meet every family’s needs

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Whenever friends and family need a pet sitter, I’m the first one they call! I come from a big family that includes multiple pets whether it’s 2 dogs or 2 cats I love both! It’s always my sincere goal to make sure your pets are well taken care of! I’ve pet sat for a family that to this day I still meet and hang out with their dogs! I love that bond! As always my main concern is your pets and make sure they are treated with respect and love because to me are pets are our family. I’m currently working part time at stop and shop, so I’m available currently on Monday’s and Tuesdays only.. I can do weekends but could only do so by 3:00 My work schedule is not a set schedule so if I’m not working that day, I will make sure to put that out there! And spend more play time with your pets! I have a big enough yard for my dog Benny and he loves to go outside and get treats! And a porch where we can relax and just hang out With him! I make sure every dog I take care of is on a leash but I can take it off depending on owners preference..my main priority is the safety of the pets in my care to make sure they don’t run away and are put in dangerous situations. I would also prefer to be at the owners house for now.

She was commmunicative and responsive the entire stay. My younger dog can struggle to warm up to new people, but she was incredible with him- he clearly liked her a lot. Heather was also flexible about changing the booking dates around so that I could spend more time with my dying parent. It meant the world to me to be able to spend an extra day at home. She also kept the apartment clean and tidy and even washed the sheets for me. I was so grateful and appreciative for Heather’s help with my dogs while I was away. About: Hi, I’m Jessica. My love for animal care started in 2018 when my family rescued our dog, Chase, from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. Helping him feel safe, understood, and confident pushed me to learn more about dog body language, temperament, leash behavior, and how to care for each dog based on their needs. I originally entered college as a pre-veterinary Animal Science major and gained hands-on experience with animals, including sheep. I also competed in UConn’s Little I competition and placed second. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, litter areas, water bowls, and anything the owner tells me is important. I also like to know about each pet’s temperament, triggers, hiding spots, leash behavior, and comfort level with new people so I can keep the visit safe and calm. For walks, I make sure pets are securely leashed before leaving the home and avoid unnecessary interactions with unknown dogs or people unless the owner says otherwise. About: Having grown up with a dog and a cat and a hamster, my love of furry friends started young! I sat for neighbors for years and then began sitting for families whose kids I taught swim lessons at the town pool. I went to college pre-vet and worked at a vet’s office for several years before getting into restaurant work. Now I’m looking to get back to my animal-loving roots and can’t wait to make your best friend’s day! Cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits and many others are all creatures I’ve comfortably cared for short or long term. I can check on, feed, play with or administer medications (including injections) to all your pets. As an avid reader, I’m also happy to just sit home with your shy friends so they aren’t alone in the house, even if they’d rather not come out to play! I’m currently in school for ultrasound, so with my full-time schedule, I’ve been looking for a flexible way to earn some extra income. I really enjoy walking my dog, and I’m interested in turning that into a small business to help others who need dog walking services while also building connections with other dogs.
