“Samantha is amazing. One of our dogs Loki is high anxiety. She was wonderful with him. She took Noth of the dogs for walks. She sent us pictures and helped us feel comfortable with her dog sitting. We will definitely use Samamtha again.”

About: I’ve taken care of many pets for the past 10 years and am looking to make your life easier! Experience with puppies, kittens, dogs and cats. I am currently a part time student so my schedule is very flexible. I generally spend majority of my time at home so can provide lots of care for your pets :) I can also do overnight stays if that’s what your pet needs. I love to give scratches, belly rubs, cuddles and go on lots of walks with my dog and am looking forward to doing the same for yours !

Nadine & Daniel & Noah K.

“Communication could not have been better. Nadine and Noah are great.... and our dog clearly loves being with them, which for me tells it all.”

Deanna C.

“Deanna did a fantastic job with our dog Rosie. Rosie is an older dog with some medical issues (anxiety, blindness). She requires medication and takes a long time to warm up to new people. Deanna was very patient with her through the whole weekend, and eventually earned Rosie’s trust (which is not an easy feat!). She kept in communication with us the whole time we were away, and left the house cleaner than she found it. We will definitely be asking Deanna back the next time we need a house sitter!”

Sonia C.

“Sonia was great! Our pepper warmed up to her quickly and Sonia treated her really well. She was very respectful of our home and left it how she found it. Very satisfied with her services! Thank you Sonia”

“Victoria has watched my dog and cat numerous times. My animals love her and are always excited to see her. She sends me updates through out her stay which is great to get on vacation. Victoria is a college student and is a great girl. She’s very responsible and more importantly dependable. I would highly recommend her to watch anyone’s beloved pet.”

Angel M.
“Angel has watched my dog Kaiba multiple times. I get picture updates, consistent communication, and Kaiba is so happy when Angel is around. Angel comes to my home to ensure that Kaiba is comfortable. As well as hangs out with him in the best way. The walks they go on make Kaiba so excited.”

Andrea P.
“To Whom it May Concern: This is a letter of recommendation for Ms. Andrea Pannone to be a pet sitter for your organization. Andrea is, as you phrased it is, "An awesome human being." She balances her work life with her college studies extremely well, while still having time to foster a rich family and social life. Andrea has a strong sense of compassion for animals. Two examples come to mind: 1.) She was driving home from work last year when she encountered a gaggle of geese crossing the road. She, of course, stopped to let them cross. A car behind her, though, got impatient, and passed Andrea, running over two geese in the process. Andrea was incensed and noted as much of the offender's license plate as she could as he sped off. As soon as the remaining geese crossed, Andrea tried to catch up with him to chastise him, but she could not without endangering herself and others. She called the police with as much information as she had, which, led to an investigation by Shelton's Department of Animal Control. 2.) In April, 2021, Andrea was eating lunch on her deck when a bird flew into a picture window. The bird was flying so fast, it bounced off the window and landed two feet away. It lay on the deck with a twisted neck, with one wing flapping. It could not move otherwise. Andrea immediately logged onto Google and researched the best way to treat the situation. She then swaddled the bird in a cloth napkin and placed it in a small box to give it a sense of security. She then called the Shelton Department of Animal Control, but it was closed. Several emergency numbers were given and Andrea called one of them to plea her case that this was an emergency. Her advocacy inspired one of the Vet Techs to suspend her family's dinner to return to her work facility to receive the injured bird-a grey catbird. The Tech administered a pain killer and an anti-inflammatory. Two days later, she sent a video of the bird being released into the wild. The Tech indicated Andrea initiated the actions that saved the bird's life. Andrea has been noted numerouse times for her excellent customer service. She has worked in food service, in several settings, and her managers have always commended her attention to detail, her courteous manner, and her problem-solving abilities. Please feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss Andrea's candidacy further. Regards, Bob Pannone (203) 918-5291”

Melissa K.

“Melissa was great! Our dog loves her. She house sat Sophie over night. She unexpectedly went into heat and Melissa was very understanding and did not steer away from caring for Sophie. Melissa is chill and flexible. She was able to meet Sophie a few days before staying over. She sent pictures and kept me up to date. Melissa is true animal lover. I’d 100% recommend her!”

Eric B.
“Eric's dog is very happy and well behaved, which is a testament to Eric's great love and care for dogs. He provides structure and fun and lots of love, enjoys long walks, and is super reliable. I trust him completely with my dog.”

Bruce B.

“Bruce is a wonderful sitter and helped us so much on our recent vacation. He came and stayed in our house with our senior dog who takes medications. He administered her medication and stayed with her and kept her company throughout the days and evenings. He sent us many updates with pictures throughout our stay which helped us feel comfortable with our trip away. I would definitely trust Bruce to care for any pet and will be happy to call on him again in the future. He is a huge help. Thanks Bruce!”

Ashley J.

“Ashley is great! She definitely gave us peace of mind while we were away. One of my dogs is usually very skittish around strangers but took right too her. We got updates and pictures throughout the weekend and will 100% be using her again for future trips! She is very prompt, caring, and respectful of our pets, home, and their routine.”

Dahn P.

“Dahn was an excellent pet sitter for my dog Fancy. I would highly, highly, highly recommend her. She kept us well informed and sent tons of pics of the ongoing activities. She also left the house spotless or maybe cleaner!”

Lili S.

“Lili was great with Mack! Sent us pictures, let us know how our baby was doing. I would definitely trust her to watch him again on our next trip!”

Joan M.

“Joan was fabulous and we would ask her to take care of our pets and house again! We received daily updates and pictures. She also took extra care of our animals, buying additional food for our particular eaters and taking our dog on a fun adventure to the boardwalk. I would definitely recommend Joan for anyone looking for an experienced pet sitter who has initiative and training in specialized veterinary services. Really a great experience, thank you!”

Sergio P.
About: I have always had a dog in the house growing up. My dog Lucky (Yorkie-Poo) is currently 11. I am also a pet counselor at work! I work at Safari Stan’s Pet Center. I help people with any pet care questions, concerns, tips, especially regarding puppies! I believe my knowledge and experience should bring great satisfaction to anyone with their dog’s needs. I also rasied a puppy and several kittens/cats in Portugal. I just finished school for the semester, so I have more time on my hands. I only work around 20 hours a week (each shift is no longer than 5 hours), plenty of time to help with pet care. I am with my dog all morning and a bit in the afternoon where I would leave for work and an hour later my parents are home from there. UPDATE: My mom recently quit her job and will be home most of the time, even with my work schedule she loves dogs and can help out in any way she can. Feel free to ask any questions after reviewing my calendar schedule. No fenced yard but it does have plenty of room to roam around and have fun. I care for my pet with much love, if your dog needs anything at all I be happy to accommodate! My dog is full of happiness with his daily play time outside/walks and treats

Rebekah G.

“Rebekah was outstanding. First time using Rover and hiring a pet sitter. Couldn’t have been better. We tried her out for a drop in visit and then for house sitting. You could set your clock based on the time she arrived. She is personable, did everything we requested, and best of all was wonderful with our lab mix. Highly recommended.”

Korin J.

“Korin is awesome! Was very quick to respond to my booking request and she’s very friendly. My pups loved her, and so did the cat. I got updates and photos throughout the sitting and she was flexible when my plans ran a little late. Thanks for such an awesome experience!”
