About: I've grew up with dogs and have been responsible for taking care of them, including feeding, walking/running & playing/taking outside, bathing, and more. I have experience giving older dogs medicine, both orally and injections (especially insulin for diabetic dogs). One of my dogs developed hip dysplasia and cancer at her older age, so I am experienced with caring for senior dogs in need of extra attention. Additionally, I often pet sit for family and friends and am trusted to ensure not only their basic needs are met (clean water, food, bathroom breaks/walks), but also they receive attention and affection while their owners are away. I'm currently home for the summer as a college student and I'm unable to get a job with a set schedule because I have surgery coming up which takes a huge chunk out of my summer but I'm available for the entirety of June and first week of July. I can basically be free whenever needed, weekdays and weekends! Since I have cats at my house, I don't care for client's pets in my own home to minimize conflict. In clients homes I follow whatever rules laid out for their animals, ensuring they're fed at the proper intervals, always have clean water (and litter boxes if used). If applicable, I like to go outside with the pets to play with them and make sure they get needed stimulation. I take them on walks (and of course clean up after them), and runs when applicable. I also like to make sure the animals get lots affection (as long as approved by their owners) to make sure they're not lonely while away!

She provided daily updates, was easy to get ahold of (not that that was needed- she had it covered), and really seemed to treat out home as if it were her own with everything as clean and put away as we left it . I always feel guilty taking him to boarding or dropping him off with family and it SHOWS by the time I pick him up, but today he was acting like we had never left. I am so appreciative of the care she provided and would not hesitate to reach out again for future sits.”

About: I have hands-on experience working on two different farms and Hamden CT’s brooksvale park (all throughout high school) , where I cared for a wide variety of animals, including everything from dogs&cats - cows & sheep . I’ve kept close contact with multiple repeat costumers I’ve built lasting friendships with house sitting/dog walking for. These experiences taught me how to read animal behavior, stay patient, and provide attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In addition to pet and house sitting for friends and family, I grew up with four pit bulls in the house and learned how to care for them as pups aswell as in their old age. I Have had smaller pets like hamsters and guinea pigs and currently have my own small dog with a big personality I love very much (side note I can take professional photos of your dog if you’d like) I recently graduated from art school(studying fashion design) and am currently looking for work related to my degree. In the meantime, dog/house sitting and walking fits into my open schedule I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. About: I was raised with Border Collies, Maltese, German Shepards, Norwegian Elk hounds and Huskies, between fostering, personal pets and caring for friends/families pets. Cared for and hand fed puppies my whole life as well as cared for senior dogs needing a slower, more loving pace in their later years. I run my own business and work from home allowing me a lot more free time and flexibility than most in and outside my home for care. I have 2 very smart and sweet cats (1 years old and 4 years old) as well as a 10 year old Norwegian Elk Hound. All 3 are more than accustomed to random animals being in and out of the home as anyone with animals that come over are more than welcome and encouraged to bring them along. Animals are children and completely apart of the family in our world and household. Capable of crating animals yet prefer freedom for the babies if possible.
