About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was young. We had a dog growing up, and I've taken care of other people's dogs too. Many dogs seem to instinctively get a good reading of me and warm up to me quickly. Right now, I'm making a career switch and have a lot of open time. My work search activities schedule varies, so I can easily juggle taking care of your pets. Some people say that I'm a "dog magnet." It's not unusual for dogs, even unfamiliar ones, to instinctively be drawn to me. About: I’ve had several dogs and cats to take care of since I was 5 years old. I have always loved animals and wanted to work with them in some way, so this is my way to do just that. I currently have a cat and I’m always spending time with my family’s cat and dog. I would love to care for other pets as often as I can. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and chickens for over 10 years. I started by taking care of a friend’s Bernese mountain dog when I was 18, and it’s taken off since then. Over the course of 11 years, I’ve predominantly cared for larger dogs (Bernese, Greyhounds, and New Foundlands). What sets me apart from other sitters is that I treat the home like my own space and leave it just the same as when I arrived. I’m currently unemployed after being laid off. Right now I’m able to be in your home all day and night while caring for your pets. When I’m back to working full-time, I arrange with the owner for a neighbor etc to visit during the day while I’m at work. I typically care for pets in the client’s home because the pet is more comfortable in their typical environment. I ask ahead of time what the pet’s schedule is so I’m familiar with their routine.

Meredith substituted for our regular cat sitter over the Christmas holiday. She did a great job of communicating with me and with our usual sitter (regarding the logistics of taking over, etc.), and our four cats and home were well taken care of under her watch. We will definitely hire Meredith again when/if our regular sitter isn't available.

This was my first time hiring a dog sitter outside of my own family, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Isabel. I was impressed from the very start, not only did my dog warm up to her right away, but Isabel immediately made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog in her care. She asked all the right questions, offered thoughtful recommendations, and really took the time to understand my dog’s needs and personality. During the stay, Isabel was fantastic with communication, sending regular updates and tons of happy, adorable pictures that gave me such peace of mind. Even when my dog unexpectedly needed an emergency vet visit (through no fault of hers), Isabel was completely on top of it. She could tell something wasn’t right and didn’t hesitate to act. She kept me informed throughout the entire situation and made sure my dog was okay and settled before leaving. On top of that, Isabel was able to watch my sister’s dog alongside mine, and she made the effort to meet both dogs beforehand, asking additional questions to make sure she could care for each of them properly. Every photo I received showed two happy, relaxed pups; it was clear they were in great hands. Overall, Isabel went above and beyond. I will absolutely be booking with her again!
