“Siqing is an absolute angel and took such good care of Mia. She was quick to respond, patient with our last minute request. She sent pictures and let us know how Mia was doing during her stay. So nice to get away for a little bit and know my dog will be well taken care of...Siqing is the best!!! :)”

“Bruce met Ozzy for a meet & greet and then cared for him the whole next day sending me updates and pictures on how everything was going. I was so happy to know Ozzy was in a safe environment and having fun. Bruce knows animals very well and is very generous, he made sure Ozzy felt super comfortable! As a pet owner this is everything; 10/10 from me and I would recommend Bruce to a friend”

“Kara was great! She was super flexible and willing to watch Shadow with what I believed was a last minute request! I would definitely recommend to anyone if you’re looking for a sweet and personable dog sitter!”

About: As an avid animal lover it is my duty to make sure all dogs in my care are treated as part of the family. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and know how stressful it can be to leave them with a stranger. I take great pride and joy in caring for others. I am a mom to my sweet daughter who absolutely loves having furry companions to run around with. I provide daily walks, leads, and a fenced in area for outside play. Toys, treats, water/food bowls and tons of TLC. Inside, my home is their home. I treat all my furry guests as they would be treated by you! Is your dog use to sleeping in your bed? Not a problem, I love snuggles! Don't let your dog on the furniture? Not a problem, I will be sure to enforce any rules you have set as to not confuse them once they arrive back home. I have a wonderful cat named Peanut. Who stays to herself for the most part. I do ask that your dog is friendly or non-reactive to cats. I want everyone's stay to be as pleasant as possible for all parties involved. I look forward to meeting you and your pup :) I’ve also created an Instagram page if you would like to see more pictures and follow your pups stay at Justlikehome_ct Pet care if my full time job. All dogs in my care are let out frequently. At least every 4 hours. Can be sooner if needed. All pets in my home are treated as part of the family. With the same amount of love and care that I give to my own.

“My colleague recommended Howard to me as “the dog whisperer” and I can’t agree more! I was a little nervous to drop my pup off for daycare less than a week after rescuing her, as she is quite wary of strangers. She jumped right into Howard’s arms and apparently spent the rest of the day happy as can be cuddled on his lap. She came home happy, tired, and ready for dinner & bed! Howard also does a wonderful job of sending updates and photos throughout the day. The first day she went to Howard’s, my pup hadn’t pooped in 2 days and it was something I was worried about. He sent me a text as soon as she went so that I would have peace of mind. She has since been back to Howard’s a few times a week and I can not recommend him more!”
“Noemi and her family took great care of my dog while I was away! She was very accommodating and flexible. She followed my dogs schedule and routine with no problems! She also sent me the cutest pup updates! So many good pictures and videos of my dog enjoying his time at her home! My dog was very happy and excited to go back everyday! So happy we found a great attentive loving family to send my pup to while I’m away! I highly recommend Noemi and her family!”

“OMG THE BEST! Mariana took such great care of Galileo. And she took care of ME as well. I felt so safe leaving the little man with her. There were constant updates and photos and so much love. I wish I lived closer so I could use her every day!!!”

“Zarah is wonderful. My dog was so pleasantly tired after all the activities at Zarah's house- like playing, swimming and walking around the yard. Dogs are allowed in the house which makes it more like a home stay. Love it!!!!!”

“Erika was awesome! She was available and accommodating very last minute. Frequent check~Ins and photos. Our Ellie was very comfortable with her. She truly went above and beyond! Highly recommend”

“Kat was so kind and gentle with our dog, who is super shy and skittish. She sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. There was a huge outdoor space on her property that she took our dog out multiple times for walks. I would recommend Kat to anyone, especially if you have a shy dog who does not easily take to a stranger.”

About: I’ve been a devoted primary caregiver to kittens, cats, dogs, and puppies for over 12 years. I recognize that every animal is a unique individual with their own personality, needs, and preferences—and I tailor my care accordingly to ensure they feel safe, seen, and loved. As an active volunteer with 501(c)(3) dog and cat rescue organizations, I bring hands-on experience in training, administering medications, and calmly managing emergency situations with confidence and care. I have personal experience with "breed-restricted" dogs and thrive in working with larger or labeled "aggressive" breeds—especially in the presence of known triggers—always maintaining a calm, controlled, and secure environment for everyone involved. I’m also well-versed in caring for senior animals, special needs cats, and dogs undergoing cancer treatment, supporting them through diagnosis, therapy, remission, and beyond. I believe animals are our chosen family which is why I am deeply connected within the local animal care community, including close ties with several veterinarians, vet techs and vet nurses. I would be honored to get to know your pet’s home, routine, neighborhood, and individual needs to create a nurturing and familiar space while you're away—ensuring continuity of care from their most trusted person: you. I believe quality, trustworthy pet care should revolve around each pet’s unique routine. I always schedule a conversation and meet-and-greet to understand the needs of each pet family and to ensure comfort, trust, and personalized care from day one. It's important to me that your pets care routine is not sacrificed for the sake of another person stepping in to care for them while you are away. I tailor care based on each pet's needs and the service provided. I believe the key ingredient to your pets safety and comfortability is to understand and follow their routine closely—mealtimes, walks, play, medications, and rest—while maintaining a calm, clean, and safe environment. It is my highest priority to provide regular updates and ensure consistency, comfort, and communication at all times.
About: Unlike busy kennels or multi-pet sitters, I focus on your dog’s unique routine, preferences, and personality — making them feel safe, loved, and stress-free. Your pup won't be in a crate or noisy facility — they’ll enjoy a cozy, homey space with plenty of affection, attention, and playtime. I am currently taking time off from work and would like to dedicate my time to caring for dogs. I absolutely adore all dogs and will be happy to walk, sit, or play with them. Your furry friend will feel like royalty is my home. He or she will get all the belly rubs they want. I don’t any other pets in my home right now, so they will get my undivided attention and love.
“Liliana and her husband were great!! Turbo stayed with them while we worked 2 times. He is super anti social but the 2nd time he stayed with them he was wiggling his tale as soon as we dropped him off which is great news for my dog. They kept me up to date, were very flexible with my late pick up times & meet and greet reschedules. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby!”
