About: What differentiates me from other pet care is that I stay true to the routine of the pets that are under my care. Dogs need a routine to feel calm and safe. Walks, sweets and feeding should be done at the usual time so that the dog feels comfortable and stress is avoided. I make sure to get details and a schedule from the owner to be able to fulfill them as much as possible. The pets' routines are my priority, I take them out to do their basic needs, I feed them, I take them for a walk, they hydrate, they take their nap, I give them lunch, I take them to do their needs, I take them for a walk, I give them their snack, I take them out to do their needs, I take them for a walk, and to sleep until the next day. I keep the area clean, I always change their water, I treat them as if they were my children and I treat the house as if it were my home

“Wow! Mari was a life saver with a last minute day care for our pup. You can also tell she’s an animal lover. She was instantly comfortable with our not-so-small German Shepherd and he was at ease with her immediately. Also, not for nothing, she sends the best photos during your pet’s stay! Our dog deals with some leash reactivity near other dogs, but Mari assured us she was comfortable with the training we do with our dog to ease his reactivity on walks. Will definitely book with her again!”

DURING YOUR FUR BABY'S VISIT There will be several bathroom breaks offered during your dog's visit. - A morning, afternoon, and nighttime - Daily photos will be taken using the Rover app. - The feeding schedule will be adhered to. - A clean, dog-proof environment - A wide, open backyard for exercise and running (completely fenced) ***It is highly recommended to meet and greet. To ensure that your dog is amiable and able to get along with other dogs, I would prefer to meet, even though in some situations this may occasionally be challenging. I do have a cap on how many dogs can come, but it is possible for more than one dog to be there. We prioritize your dog's comfort!!! Working from home allows me to dedicate focused time to caring for your fur babies throughout the day. I’m here to provide them with plenty of attention, play, and love as part of my daily routine. From walks to snuggles, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and cared for—all while keeping a flexible schedule to meet their unique needs. In my home, I’ve created a safe, welcoming space for your fur babies, complete with a fenced area for them to play and explore. If needed, I can crate dogs, providing a cozy space for them to relax. My priority is ensuring every pet feels loved and secure. I’ll follow their routines closely, offering plenty of playtime, regular meals, and lots of cuddles. About: I’m from Scotland and I now live in Hamden with my husband and my pets. I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and dogs as a devoted pet landlord! I have two cats, Artemis and Apollo, both shorthair tuxedoes, who are incredibly friendly and relaxed. My littlest has asthma so I am very skilled at administering medication and caring for sick pets. I also have a little Malshi puppy called Doug who is potty trained, LOVES other dogs and cats, is hypoallergenic, and and all round little snowball of love. I absolutely love caring for animals and am I pretty much always have Doug with me! Pups are never alone as we both work from home. We have a backyard for potty breaks and we typically do walks at 9am and then again at 6pm. We have a 2 floor home with lots of space and so can separate pets into own rooms if needed. Also have a private back yard with fence.
