“Kat was so kind and gentle with our dog, who is super shy and skittish. She sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. There was a huge outdoor space on her property that she took our dog out multiple times for walks. I would recommend Kat to anyone, especially if you have a shy dog who does not easily take to a stranger.”

Mark was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and even offered to meet me halfway to bring Keegan back so I did not have to go as far out of my way. Their dogs are gorgeous and super friendly and my pup had a great time. Would book again in an instant if I'm ever back in that area. Thanks again!!”

About: When it comes to caring for your furry friend, patience, kindness, calmness, and love are the types of care you can expect from me and my home. I'm a work-from-home pup and human momma, so your pet will not be alone when they visit. Most weekdays, my dog Sadie and I listen to jazz music with the windows open, feeling the breeze as I work in my office, with plenty of space for another furry friend to nap on the carpet or cozy dog bed. We take breaks to go on much-needed walks. When I'm not in my office working or taking a walk, I'm working on our deck so we all get in some Vitamin D. If needed or preferred, I can keep your dog crated. If you're seeking a pet-sitting service with me, please know that I understand your dog is in a new place, meeting new people and friends. There are lots of new smells and noises. I've been a lifelong pet owner and am a mother of two toddlers - so rest assured compassion and patience will be practiced as they're adjusting to a new routine and environment (and well after). During their time with me, they will know kindness... I may spoil them by giving them (approved!) treats and affection. My dog Sadie, who has Addison's Disease, also requires some additional care (and meds) as she ages. She gets fresh air about every two hours, and so will your loved one! If your pet needs medication administered or if there are specific symptoms I should look for regarding your dog's health while in my care, that should be no problem. Just let me know. Not only do I have experience with our current pet family member, Sadie, but I have cared (walking, feeding, and sitting) for my mother's Boxer, in-laws Collie/Husky mix, and brother's cat, with whom I was surprised my dog Sadie did so well. I have experience caring for multiple dogs at once and Sadie (our elderly boxer mix) has done well with new friends and multiple dogs as well. In fact, she loves having the extra company. I also grew up with Rottweilers and Lhasa Apsos. I hope to provide the best care for your beloved dog and create a happy and healthy environment for them to thrive in when they are away from home. I work from home most weekdays from 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., so your pet will be well cared for. If you need to drop your pet off earlier or picked up later, that is fine; just let me know and we can work out the details. I leave my house between 8-9 a.m. and 2:15-3:20 p.m. for school drop-off and pickup, but can either leave your pet home in a crate or take them with me for the ride during that time if you need a sitter for your pet during those hours. We have a very large yard, a walking and pet-friendly neighborhood, and one dog to keep your fur baby company. We have no neighbors across the street and a large plot of land on one side of our property, so there is privacy and very little noise. I am typically home alone when I work from home, so the house is quiet and calm during the day. If your dog does not need to be crated, me and my furbaby Sadie would love for them to join us in my office, where we sit by the window and listen to music as I work.
15. Megan C.
“Megan is an animal lover. All animals gravitate towards her and just love her. She is very responsible and I trust my animals with her 100%. She loves each one as she would her own.”
16. Maria M.
“Maria is fantastic. Our dogs are SPOILED. We rarely leave them home alone and they are used to lots love and attention. When we travel it’s difficult to find someone who will give them the same standard of care but thankfully we found Maria. She was immediately communicative, sent photos of her house and yard right away. Throughout the stay she updated me on how they settled in and gave them lots of love. One of my dogs has special needs and she was helpful and understanding. Her yard is a treat for any dog especially dogs like mine who normally live in the city. We will definitely book again whenever we are in the area.”
17. Kelly R.
“I’m grateful that Kelly agreed to watch my pup last minute. She was wonderful; she has a beautiful house, a big yard, and my dog loved her. I’ll definitely be using her again and highly recommend her services.”
18. Tom F.
“Tommie is wonderful. He is a pet lover through and through. He’s loyal, honest and very responsible! He will treat your pet as if it’s his own. We have seen him interact with both our dog, cat/kittens and he’s a gentle loving soul. Your pets will thank you when you hire Tom!”
19. Cecilia G.
“Cecilia is amazing. We are so relieved to have found a sitter who treats our Daisy like her own. She is flexible, accommodating, and made us feel very comfortable. Daisy is a pandemic puppy that is not used to being around other people and dogs, but Cecilia was excellent with helping her feel comfortable and sent us lots of pictures. Cecilia’s pup Luna played well with Daisy too. Can’t recommend her enough!”
20. David P.
“David treated Rocky like his own dog. He not only took great care of Rocky, was punctual, responsible, great communicator and treated Rocky like he was his own dog. We asked him to dog sit for Rocky for the day and he was willing to pick him up, take him to a dog park. and then back to his home. He's a super nice person in addition to being a great person to leave your pup with if you ever need someone in Cheshire Ct.”
