I'm reliable, flexible, and ready to work on short notice during summer. I'm willing to stay and house sit if my schedule permits. I love going for walks and hikes with pups and am not afraid to roll around on the floor for some playtime. I understand how important your pets are and will treat them as you would! “This is our second time with Julie caring for our cat Pixie and will not be our last. She is prompt about getting to our house to feed Pixie and does not simply feed her and rush out the door when she is done. Pixie is an extreme affection sponge and we love that Julie sticks around and cuddles with our little one while we are away. I always feel so guilty when we are gone for more than a day, but knowing Julie is going to be sitting with Pixie and giving her the attention she craves really helps me relax. Julie is also so sweet with Pixie. Pix has a habit of getting under foot and can be very chatty. Julie has the patience of a saint navigating the one cat obstacle course to get through our kitchen while prepping her meals. We are thrilled to have come across Julie on Rover and already have discussed with her our next booking, which will be sudden and unpredictable as we go into the hospital to have our first child. She is so open to when we said "yeah, it will be sometime between this date and this date and could be 2-5 days long and will be a very last second booking". Not only did she respond immediately, but she told us no problem, she will be around and to let her know. Shes the best and we so highly recommend her to take care of the fur babies!”

About: Hi, I have been taking care of animals for over 25 years now. I also use to breed German Shepherds for eight years. I am a stay at home mom and Rover, is my full time job now that my kids are teens. I use to foster dogs and other animals before I had a family and worked on two farms, So I have a lot of experience with different types of breeds, temperaments, past abuse, and very skittish animals. I have much confidence when it comes to taking care of special case dogs, senior dogs, newborn/Whelping puppies and more. We live in a house with over two acres of land, with lots of lovely areas to walk, including a cemetery that is located over the fence in our yard. It has lots of roads that are quiet and safe. I find this great because they gets lots and lots of exercise, and its great for dogs that may be frightened of loud, busy streets, or leash reactive dogs. We also have doggie pools ,( when it's hot) if your pup loves water play! My German Shepherd and Papilions are highly trained and socialized . They are extremely well behaved, as well as amazing house dogs and companions to my autistic son. HOWEVER, your dog/s and my dogs will NEVER come in physical contact with each other. . We are highly active family, so lots of play and exercise fits in our schedule everyday. While hosting your pets at my house, they will receive the same attention and affection as if they were my own dogs. I always sleep in the same room as the pups ( unless told otherwise) to keep they company and comfortable during their stay. We will have lots of potty breaks, keep right on track with feeding schedule. Everyday we will have lots of play time, down relax time, and brain stimulating fun as well. I will take them on long walks at the cemetery that is behind the fence of our home. I ONLY do family boardings, I do not mix other family dog/s. I find no matter how socialized they are, being away from home on top of being with unfamiliar dogs can always have a possibility of disaster. My goal is to keep everyone safe! I will take up to 2 dogs from the same family. Thank you for understanding. I absolutely am an animal lover, and it's the only job that makes me feel happy, confident and I have such a passion for this work So your pets will become my family when they are with me. But we will have fun all year round because I am a huge outdoors person. I also have doggie Tv playing everyday!!😊 My schedule most of the time will be wide open, which only a few days here and there that I won't be available. I will follow all your directions to a T, and you will never be disappointed by my services! I look forward to all my new pup and "hooman" clients.

About: My family and I have had pets our whole lives, and we’ve developed a tremendous love for them. Showing love for all animals is something my wife and I wanted to display to our children, and based on the compassion we see them we must have done something right. So, it's safe to say that your pet will be receiving love and attention from all different angles. And my family and I like to be active with the animals we watch - walks, outside play and quality time will always be provided. My wife and I work from home, so our schedules are very flexible. We're also homebodies, so there's always someone home to keep your pet company. I also have two daughters (ages 13 and 11) that are extremely helpful and loving with animals. It simply comes natural to them. So, they'll certainly spend all of their time interacting with your pets in a gentle, trusting manner. Long story short, your pet will be the center of attention. I have 3 cats in my home that are indifferent to most dogs, and tend to go about their business. We have a spacious home for your pets to roam around in, including a finished downstairs and an unoccupied bedroom if they need some time to themselves. I also have a fenced in backyard for your dogs to get some fresh air and play fetch. My neighborhood is also very dog-friendly, with so many families walking their dogs on a daily/nightly basis. So, if your dog is social they'll have a friend to walk with. It's a nice little tucked away neighborhood with minimal traffic flow, making for a peaceful atmosphere.

About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.

About: I try to take parts of Cesar Milan's strategy with dogs specifically. Trying to not reward bad behavior. Making sure a pet can respect my boundaries. Currently have a dog walking client at Winding Brook Condominiums in Meriden. I’m there twice a day for 30 minute walks and play. I bought some balls for her so she can play. Have videos and lots of photos. I work flexible hours as an independent contractor so I make my own schedule. I am building my pet care business so I am signing up for a drone pilots license for pet recovery. I am also working on upgrading my vehicle to a minivan. About: My name is Tatum I am 20 years old and have had exotic pets such as birds reptiles bugs and more. I currently have my own dog her name is Ripley and she’s almost a year old pit being trained for obedience and heel work I have training experience and dog care experience as I also used to work at a pet store caring for over 60 puppies at a time cleaning feeding playing with and giving medication! I currently am full time looking to fill up my schedule taking care of everyone’s animals feel free to ask questions and more ! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a freshmen in high school. My jobs consisted of walking, feeding, playing, and occasionally staying overnight with the dog. I love animals and genuinely care for them, making my service just a bit more special. Currently I only work after 3:45 on weekdays, so I have plenty of time to hangout with your pups! I have enough time for attentive care and multiple visits per day! I do not intend to board any dogs in my home, but I can crate a dog, I am comfortable with fenced in backyards for unleashed pups, and when no fence is available the dog will be leashed/harnessed.

About: Hello Rover customers, I have taken care of pets since I was a child and have taken care of my family’s fur babies since my kids were small. I am currently left with my senior cat at home but would love to take great care of your beloved fur babies. I am currently self employed and work part time during the weekdays. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate as needed with enough notice! I have a fenced in yard for my animals if needed but I am very careful in customer’s homes and make sure to not leave without checking my surroundings first so no animals gets out the door.
About: I have had dogs for my entire life and am great with all animals. Growing up I walked my two Boston Terriers on a daily basis and helped out with my family's dogs when they were out of town. Over my summer vacation from college, I will be working my other part-time job three days a week, most likely Monday-Wednesday from 2-5:30. Aside from that, I will use all of my free time to dog walk and pet sit. At my house, we have a fenced-in backyard to ensure that our dogs will never escape. Any time I walk my dogs, I walk them on a leash and ensure that they are close to me, and I have a strong hold on their leash. The same thing goes for when I am walking anyone else's dog. When walking dogs, I stay highly attentive to my surroundings and prioritize each pet’s safety and well-being at all times

About: I've owned dogs all my life and have dog sat in some capacity for family and friends for the last 10 years. I love dogs and treat each like my own. I'm reliable, flexible, and ready to work on short notice during summer. I'm willing to stay and house sit if my schedule permits. I love going for walks and hikes with pups and am not afraid to roll around on the floor for some playtime. I understand how important your pets are and will treat them as you would! I am willing to administer medicine if necessary and am flexible to other needs of your pet. Look forward to meeting you furry baby(ies)! I am a full time teacher. During the week I can let animals out early mornings and then am usually out of work by 3. My weekends are usually free. I will abide by house rules for your pet at home.
