About: I have grown up with dogs. I have always loved animals and now I currently live in an apartment. Right now, I am not able to have pets of my own! I travel for work from time to time and it is just not the right time for me to have a pet of my own. So, I will watch yours and love yours like it is my own! I have always had really big dogs, and I am also good with little dogs! I cannot wait to meet my new furry friend! You can go on a vacation or quick get away and know that your pet is having the time of their life! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! I am a newly crowned work from home gal! A walk, a pet, and a potty break can easily happen in between emails and meetings! My apartment have a dog park that we can blow off steam in. I also just have a natural ability to get pups excited for walks and cat excited to chase lasers! I will be keeping an eye out to keep my furry friend safe!

About: What differentiates me from other pet care is that I stay true to the routine of the pets that are under my care. Dogs need a routine to feel calm and safe. Walks, sweets and feeding should be done at the usual time so that the dog feels comfortable and stress is avoided. I make sure to get details and a schedule from the owner to be able to fulfill them as much as possible. The pets' routines are my priority, I take them out to do their basic needs, I feed them, I take them for a walk, they hydrate, they take their nap, I give them lunch, I take them to do their needs, I take them for a walk, I give them their snack, I take them out to do their needs, I take them for a walk, and to sleep until the next day. I keep the area clean, I always change their water, I treat them as if they were my children and I treat the house as if it were my home

“We needed someone to watch Mochi last minute and Mari came to the rescue. She was an amazing care taker for Mochi, who is recovering from hip surgery. We got so many cute photos and updates throughout the day and felt that Mochi was in wonderful hands. Thank you, Mari!!”

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I balance my time with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter, so I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. My house has a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!

About: I’ve fostered dogs for over six years and have cared for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, shy pets, high energy dogs, and everything in between. I focus on making every pet feel comfortable and loved. I’m a college student athlete with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to give both cats and dogs consistent attention, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for! I live in a clean, pet friendly apartment with six other girls who all love animals and respect pet boundaries. My home is safe, calm, and supervised, and I’m careful about routines, doors, leashes, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and secure.

About: I’m from Scotland and I now live in Hamden with my husband and my pets. I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and dogs as a devoted pet landlord! I have two cats, Artemis and Apollo, both shorthair tuxedoes, who are incredibly friendly and relaxed. My littlest has asthma so I am very skilled at administering medication and caring for sick pets. I also have a little Malshi puppy called Doug who is potty trained, LOVES other dogs and cats, is hypoallergenic, and and all round little snowball of love. I absolutely love caring for animals and am I pretty much always have Doug with me! Pups are never alone as we both work from home. We have a backyard for potty breaks and we typically do walks at 9am and then again at 6pm. We have a 2 floor home with lots of space and so can separate pets into own rooms if needed. Also have a private back yard with fence.

About: I’ve walked and taken care of dogs and cats for 9 years throughout medical school and college, however really have 26 years of experience as I grew up always having dogs and cats around. I’ve taken care of as many as 14 puppies at once! As an added bonus, I can also perform pet CPR. Overall, I just love taking care of pets, and have tons of experience both officially and from growing up with pets. I would love to take long walks with your dog and take care of your pets in any way! I’m currently working on 100% from home and have a completely open schedule with flexible hours, as well as many completely free days with no commitments. My apartment complex has many grassy areas as well as a fenced in dog park. There are sidewalks looping through the whole complex for dog walks as well as a large bike trail right down the street. My home is extremely clean with no other pets or children and plenty of room for a pet to wander.
