About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 16. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed and take care of their dogs. I am comfortable taking dogs for long walks around the neighborhood or to the dog park, and I have stayed in home as a pet sitter. My family has a dog and I am involved in her care and play time on a daily basis. I have a very flexible schedule and have lots of time for your pup. I am available for late morning and afternoon walks and playtime. I have an energetic 60 pound dog. I am used to walking a strong dog and can easily handle a dog that may pull. I am happy to walk your dog in your neighborhood and/or play in your yard. I will work with whatever routine your dog is accustomed to.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs now for about 2 years as a way to help out family and friends while making an additional income. I have experience doing overnight stays, walks, and visits for both young and old dogs! I am a recent graduate looking for a job, so I currently have plenty of time to look after your pets! Let me know what time and day you would like my help and I will try my best to accommodate. I will work on weekends! When caring for dogs during a walk, visit, or overnight stay, I try my absolute best to follow the schedule/instructions put out for me, especially when caring for older dogs who may rely on a structured rountine. “Leaving Gamma and Delta for a long period of time was incredibly stressful for us, but Melanie completely exceeded our expectations! She came in twice a day for food, to spend quality time with them and sent a lot of daily photos. I was able to enjoy my entire trip with zero worries since we had a pretty good communication with her. Gamma and Delta had a blast, non stop cuddles and a lot of love, also a lot of games and treats, they will miss her! Melanie also helped us with some medication and did an amazing job taking care of our dogs, she left the house spotless, we highly recommend her and will definitely ask for her help in all our future trips!”

About: I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she required a lot of special training and patience. I worked with her on socialization, leash walking, and reducing pulling and barking around other dogs, and I have successfully helped her improve in all of these areas. Since she was a puppy when I adopted her, I also have experience with the patience, consistency, and care that younger dogs require. In addition, I care for a senior dog, so I am experienced in recognizing when a dog has reached their physical limit during walks and understanding how to adjust care based on their needs. Having experience with both younger and older dogs, as well as both large and small breeds, has taught me how to handle dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and training levels with confidence and care. I am currently in school but there are only three days a week I am completely booked with classes. My Mondays and Fridays and weekends are completely open and would love to spend my free time around more dogs! I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for pets while they are in my care. Since I live in an apartment, I make sure the space is pet-friendly, secure, and free of anything that could be harmful to animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, exercise, and any special instructions from the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety during walks, monitor pets closely around other animals, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, patience, and affection. I also provide updates and communication so owners feel reassured while their pets are in my care.

About: I have had lots of different types of animal experiences since I was a child including always having a cat in the household and volunteering with animal shelters. My specialty is cats but I have a few years experience with sitting and walking dogs as well. I am always up for a new challenge and am very capable and adaptable. I have worked in many animal shelters, as well as managed a cat shelter, so I am very comfortable approaching all animals. I have a very flexible schedule because I run my own cat oriented business and make my own hours. My whole life is animals, so I love to fit them into my life as much as possible. I currently only offer services in my clients’ homes, and to ensure that their pets are always safe and secure, I am very on top of communication and checking in with my pet parents. I like to review all instructions together to make sure I don’t have any questions and know exactly what contacts are (vet, ER, friends) for emergencies. I always respect other people’s space and will leave things exactly as I left them, if not better. Letting someone into your home to take care of your fur family requires a lot of trust and I feel honored when someone allows me that privilege.

I always keep pets on a leash or in a secure area when outside, and I closely supervise them indoors to make sure they are comfortable and safe. About: My first “job” was dog sitting when I was in first grade. I included snuggling them every night in my promise to owners, and to this day nothing has changed. I work at the children’s hospital as a pediatric audiology extern from 7:30 am-6 pm every day. I would love to dog walk on weekday evenings and I am available to pet sit and dog walk on weekends. Pets’ safety is always the number one priority. With me, your pet will never be unattended or in dangerous situations. I also value other people’s space and home.
