About: I’ve had several large breed dogs since I was a child. I am comfortable handling dogs that pull and are like little tanks. My rottie used to stop and sniff everything, and he set our pace on walks. I’m an adjunct English professor, so I can also help your pets with their college admission essays.I am open all summer, but will be teaching in the evenings this fall. I can’t currently care for your pets in my apartment, because my cats said no, but I will be respectful and careful in your home.

About: I've been a dog owner for the last 20 years. All my dogs have been rescues, several have been shy dogs that needed extra TLC. I have a special talent connecting with shy dogs and helping them come out of their shell. I also love working with extroverted dogs who love to play and interact. I have a full-time mostly WFH job. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I currently have two large dogs of my own not where I currently live but at my home away from college, so I’m very comfortable with walking, feeding, playing, bathing, and keeping pets on their routines. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away because I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love animals. As a college student-athlete, I’m active, responsible, and able to handle energetic dogs while making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I currently work part-time and go into the office about 3 days a week for around 5 hours at a time. The rest of the week I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for, walk, play with, and give attention to your pets throughout the day. I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for every pet I watch. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and understand the importance of routines, exercise, and attention. I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of playtime, and a clean, stress free environment. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Hello there. I have been boarding dogs for over 10 years and have many regular customers. Before that I always had a dog. I am a dog lover that will treat your dog like my own. I have decided not to board dogs and stay at owners home from now on. Also I do dog walking. Safety is my number one priority while dog sitting and dog walking. I also take the dogs for daily walk. You can relax and go on vacation and know your dog is well taken care for. I send updates via text with pictures and videos to my customers so they can be sure their pup is having just as fun during his week as the client is. About: I’ve cared for pets since I was 10yrs old, volunteered with animal rescues, trained puppies, and sat all sizes of animals! Experience in senior/special need care and medication dispensing. I’m currently a grad student, so I have plenty of time to care and play with your pets! I’m available all day, Thursday-Monday, for walks and sitting! I have a large yard on a quiet, dead-end street in a residential area. Plenty of pet supplies if you need to borrow too, bowls, leashes, collars, etc.

About: I can't imagine my life without animals. My family has owned several different species of animals since I was born, and I now own a standard poodle and domestic short hair cat. I understand they are not just an animal, but a member of the family who needs to be treated as such. I am comfortable walking, grooming, and feeding any size and aged dog. Walking can either be at a slow pace, or jogging, I just have to be informed prior. If I am dog sitting, I will be sure to give extra pets and loving to each animal, and can also groom the dog if requested. Looking for consistent clients.

About: Dog owners will love my ability to recognize the individuality and personality of their dog and how well I respond to these to these things. For example, if the dog is an introverted weimereiner, I will try some things to get him to play or take a walk. Taking care not to confuse or irritate him. If the dog is an energetic cocker spaniel, I will always be more cautious and aware of the dog "bolting" out an open door or being generally a little unpredictable. I know this from my experience as a cocker spanielowner and a less active Labrador retriever, and most recently - a brother and sister part pit bull - very active breed pair in New Mexico before I moved here to West Haven, CT. Also, a larger, more active dog will need more walking, playing and activity than a dog who takes more time to transition to a new face. All the above should be done with both the awareness of building a functional and stable relationship between myself and the dog along with any input the owner might give on caring for his or her dog. It seems most important to be available on continual and longest terms possible with most any dog for the sake of stability in the dog's life. I love the learning and fun it takes to get to know a dog.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I have experience taking care of cats and dogs. I’m a cat person myself, I have two sibling cats Bonnie and Clyde, but I love dogs just as much and will take care of all animals with love. My current work schedule is 11-4 Monday-Thursday, 11-8 Friday and Saturday, and I’m off Sundays. I am pretty flexible when it comes to animals. I always make pet safety my top priority by carefully following the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, routines, and any special needs. In a client’s home, I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times and keep pets in their normal routine. I also make sure fresh water is always available. I respect each client’s home, keep communication open, and send regular updates and photos so owners feel comfortable knowing their pet is being well cared for. If a pet seems nervous or shy, I stay patient and let them adjust at their own pace.
