2. Bianca G.
“Bianca was amazing! She was so responsive, sent lots of photos, and was great with my two cats. One of my cats has special needs and Bianca was more than capable of handling her with care and kindness! Highly recommend her as a cat sitter!”
3. Lisa B.
“Lisa is great with my 3 month old puppy. She makes sure to keep him active and burning some energy on her drop in visits. She is also great at sending updates and cute pictures of him. Will keep booking her when available.”
4. Jen N.
“Jen was an exceptional sitter for my cat! She was great at communicating and kept our apartment clean and tidy. On top of the normal care I asked for her to do, she went above and beyond by cleaning my cat’s face and brushing him. I loved that she sent videos during her visits. I would definitely book with her again!”
5. Mankamal D.
“Mankamal is the best pet sitter! She did drop-in visits when I was out of the country. Super consistent and clear communications with update photos. I would recommend!!”
6. Carole N.
“Carole was amazing! She sent thorough updates about my cats while I was gone, and they warmed up to her easily- even my shy girl. I didn’t feel at all worried about my cats or the apartment while I was away. She is very respectful and trustworthy. I highly recommend Carole!”
7. Natsha D.
“Natsha was so kind and took wonderful care of my cat! It was my first time using Rover for catsitting, but Natsha made it a very comfortable experience for my cat and gave me lots of peace of mind! She spent a lot of time with him everyday that I was gone and I’m very happy with her petsitting!”
8. Jessica H.
“Jessica made me feel so comfortable leaving my 2 cats home while we were away. I got pictures for every visit and she really allowed me to enjoy my trip without stressing!!”
9. Sarah H.
“Sarah was an employee at Dogtopia of Springfield for a couple of months while on summer break, and in that time, quickly became a stand-out employee. She caught on quickly and was able to make herself an invaluable part of the team over the very hectic summer boarding season. She was punctual, communicative, knew when to ask questions and double-check with other more experienced staff/management if unsure of how to properly proceed, and was always willing to assist with any task asked of her. Sarah made it obvious she enjoyed working with animals and would make a great addition to any team/business in the industry. She is still in exceptionally good standing with our facility and we would have been overjoyed if she could have stayed around longer before having to return to school.”
10. Patty B.
“Patty took great care of my girl and I am very appreciative !”
11. Melissa K.
“Melissa sought to go beyond in caring for my cat. She even returned one day to check on his food and water when I was worried it might be low. She played with him and his toys and sent me pictures that he was doing well. I will be asking for her help again!”
12. Olivia J.
“Olivia has been absolutely wonderful with my dog - and so, so communicative. My dog loved her right away! I couldn't be happier - I've already rebooked her twice.”
13. Liz W.
“Liz took excellent care of my cats while I was away and even managed to get the more skiddish one to warm up and play. Came home to find them both happy and healthy, couldn’t ask for more! Thanks, Liz!”
14. Melanie M.
About: A Northwest CT native, I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Our household believed in giving a home to rescue dogs and training them so they could feel safe and stable in our home. And as a passionate Social Worker, I'm ready to foster my empathy and compassion to provide your pet a supportive environment too, so they can be their best self for you, their owner! While I live in an apartment and cannot own a pet at the moment, I look forward to the opportunity to spend time again with animals and help out my community by being a committed dog walker/sitter. As you can see by my photos, dogs have joined me walking, hiking, backpacking, swimming, and even trail running! I'm a very active individual so if you have a high-energy dog who needs more activity, please let me know and we can work something out. I'm currently a full-time student in New Haven, so I have flexibility and can easily travel or stay in nearby areas. During the fall semester, I will be out of the house and in New Haven during the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for 8 hours at a time (9am-5pm). When it comes to caring for pets in your home, I would like to gain as much understanding about the routines your pets have in your home, your training, and learn more about their personality, so I can best support them while you're away.
15. Marsela R.
“Marsela was great! She took great care of my cat! I especially appreciated the detailed summary of her visits and all the photos. I will absolutely be reaching out to Marsela again next time.”
16. Bailee B.
“I couldn’t have been more thankful for the service Bailee provided. She is a very caring individual and you can tell she has a love for animals. I felt relaxed and comfortable while being away from my fur baby. As this was the first trip I have been able to take I will be definitely rebooking with Bailee in the future! She was an amazing provider and very informative! Followed all directions perfectly!”
17. Mary Quinn M.
“Quinn has looked after three cats for me, in two different locations, as well as my dog. She always did an excellent job at being responsive to their needs, provided them with proper attention, and has taken excellent care of them. My dog always came home from walks with her in great spirits, having fully gotten his fill of the park before heading back to the apartment. You would be hard-pressed to find a better person to look after your pet. She's also a great communicator, taking plenty of photos. Whenever she's looked after my pets, it always felt like I haven't even left them!”
18. Leily B.
About: I have 6 years of dog walking and cat sitting experience. I'm used to taking care of dogs of all sizes as well as puppies and their various needs. I just moved to New Haven and I'm looking to start caring for pets here! I will treat your pet the way I would treat my own and would make sure to care for them in a responsible manner. As a pet owner myself, I know how important responsible care is. I have two cats, so I totally understand the concerns when hiring a new person to care for your loved pet! Due to my cats, I'm not able to accept boarders at the moment, other than one small-medium dog (who is fine with cats) for weekends only. I am a local graduate student so I apologize in advance if I can't make certain requested times. I can't wait to work with you and your lovely pets! I am a full-time graduate student but have a flexible schedule. I do not have a car so would only be able to service requests in New Haven. I'm well aware of environmental risks associated with dogs and cats. I'm overly cautious about windows expecially with cats. In addition, I'm responsible with the environment that either puppies or kittens occupy; to not leave food around or small objects/threads that they may mistakenly ingest.
19. Zuleima V.
“This was Zulei’s second time taking care of Kobe and I couldn’t be happier! She’s so attentive and sends 3-4 pictures per walk with detailed write ups. Kobe had an upset stomach for a few days while we were on vacation and Zulei Took extra great care of him—I’m so grateful and will definitely leave Kobe in her care in the future.”
20. Caroline Maude & Mathew D.
“Caroline is exceptional with dogs. It is clear that she loves them and connects with them easily. She has a wonderful relationship with our dog Jasper and I would feel comfortable with her watching him at any time. She is always our first choice! Unfortunately for us, she has just moved away and is a graduate student in New Haven so anyone in that area should give her a try before she gets too many clients!”
