About: PLEASE READ FULL PROFILE BEFORE YOU BOOK AND CHECK CALENDAR IF I AM AVIALABLE. Hello! Thank you for your interest. I am located in beautiful Guilford on RT. 77 .Very easy access from 95. I live with my 19 year old son. Your dog MUST be house trained, vaccinated, and on flea/tick prevention. And your doggy must love kids because we love dogs! We play fetch a lot and lots of walks in our big yard. I also walk a few miles a day and love the company! We also have a dog run. I usually take one dog at a time (unless otherwise specified) so they get our total attention and its a small house. We do not have our own dog. PLEASE PLEASE check my calendar for availability first. I do request a meet and greet,if you are a new client to make sure it is a good fit for us all. I am a teacher, so we follow a teacher daily schedule. So they MUST be ok home alone unless I am on school break and weekends. Please make sure your dog's information is filled out prior to booking. We hope to hear from you soon! Thank you! I am a teacher. So I follow the teacher schedule (hrs, off time). The dog must be able to be left alone during the typical school hours. Pets are inside with me. When I go out I like to take the dog with me-car rides, walks, baseball games etc. If its too hot I do have central air.
7. Ashley S.
“Ashley was amazing with our hound mix, Winslow. She took Winslow on walks every day in the very cold, rainy weather, threw the ball for him (over and over again) in our yard, and took many, many photos of him. Ashley sent me those photos and responded to all of my (too many) inquiries about Winslow's tummy, etc., etc. I would totally--and highly--recommend Ashley to anyone who has a pet and is going away (or needs someone to walk their pooch).”
8. Charlotte R.
“Charlotte did a great job feeding our two cats. They were well cared for and she sent plenty of pics. Would definitely use her for cat sitting again.”
9. Kim M.
“Such thoughtful care! Totally on top of everything and even my very shy cat felt comfortable with Kim right away.”
10. Emma S.
“Emma is extremely responsible and an overall kind and caring individual. I have known Emma for over 5 years and she genuinely cares for all living creatures. She is so attentive and loving towards her cat and dog as well as caring to my own dog Max. She is very dependable and super responsive as well. Any one would be lucky to have her as a sitter and/or dog walker!”
11. Abigail B.
“Abigail is not only one of the nicest people we know, but she is a doll with our pets. We have a Jack Russell that is 11 years old and a chihuahua that is 2 years old. They adore Abigail to pieces. Even when Abigail isn't walking our dogs, as soon as they see her they go crazy for her. We have used Abigail numerous times for our pets. We DO NOT want anyone else watching our animals. She is fun, loving and treats them like they are her own. I highly recommend Abigail to care for pets on Rover.com. She would be a great asset to your team. From walks, to feeding our furry friends, to make sure they are loved when we are not home, Abigail is the complete package.”
12. Valerie D.
About: I am so excited to come care for your furry friends, cats and dogs alike. From walks to belly rubs I would love to come play with, exercise, and entertainment your pets. No need to worry about your fuzzy family while you are out working hard to give them a good life (or taking a night off)! I have had cats throughout my life and adopted my own rescue kitten two years ago. Dogs have also been in my life for as long as I can remember through family and friends. As much as we all wish we could stay home with our pets all the time, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of them when life's requirements call. I am working an office job and looking for some lovable pets to help brighten my day outside of the office. I would love to help care for your furry family in the process! I will care for your pets as my own, as I would hope someone would do for me and my pets. I will also treat your home with the utmost respect as I am guest.

18. Rachel K.
About: I have been using Rover on and off for years and have met so many amazing dogs and their owners. I am active and love to be outside. I grew up with pets and am very compassionate towards all animals, especially dogs and cats. I have taken care of neighbors' dogs and homes while growing up. I live in North Branford with my fiancé, our cat Charlie and our dog Roz. Charlie came from a shelter and loves to be around other animals. Sometimes she can act like a dog herself. Roz was adopted from Save-A-Lab and is the sweetest girl. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I look forward to meeting your pet! I’m a personal trainer so I am typically available between 11 am and 4 pm. With so much free time on my hands and my love for being active, I decided I’d walk dogs part-time! If a dog is outside in their fenced yard, I’ll never take my eyes off of them. Ya never know if they’ve been plotting their escape! 😏 I always keep a dog on a leash. I prefer a non-retractable leash.
