About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6 years old, ranging in all different sizes. I find it imperative to treat all dogs as if they were my own. I’m currently a full-time fourth grade teacher who is looking for a part-time job during the week days, weekends and whenever I have a holiday break. Currently I am available for drop in visits or dog walking during the week anytime. I am also free for both of these services at anytime during certain weekends. I have a fenced backyard with two Labrador retriever. They are friendly and always makes me smile! I love taking them on walks, however they are still learning how to walk. So I am very patient and understanding!

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was a kid, having grown up with two dogs and being part of their care from puppyhood through old age. I've looked after both dogs and cats for neighbors and families to whom I've provided childcare, and for the past year, I’ve regularly walked dogs housed at a county animal shelter. This has been such a rewarding activity and has increased my comfort in interacting with animals with a variety of temperaments. I'm an active person, so I’d love to get outdoors and moving as long as your pup is up for it! If necessary, I can bathe your pet and administer oral medications; if instructed may also be comfortable with injectables. I’m so excited to meet a new furry friend! I’m a medical student looking to establish some house/pet sitting relationships while I attend school. My daytime availability during the week is therefore limited, but I’m happy to provide evening care for your pet or stay overnight in your home. On weekends, I have more flexible availability for drop in visits and/or daytime walking. I will be pet sitting in your home and want to fit into your pet's daily life as seamlessly as possible, so I'm happy to do whatever makes them happy! I'm an active person so whether your pet is high or low energy, I can cater to their needs.

About: I've pet-sat for dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs since 2001. My sittings have ranged from a few hours to two weeks. I've sat for family, friends, and many parents here on Rover. My family has included two cats, Cleopatra and Caesar, and dogs Valentine, Athos, and Teddy. My goal as a sitter is to offer stability and enrichment while their parent is away. I'm available for drop-ins and overnights and happy to care for your home during the stay, watering plants, etc. My schedule is very flexible outside of my 9-5 at Yale. Why I love pet sitting Who doesn't love some fuzzy company? And I understand from watching our family pets how disorienting a kennel can be. In-home sitting puts pets (and you!) at ease when you're away, so they can enjoy the "vacation" just as much as you can! My experience administering medication I've given pill medication via pill packs and oral liquid medication via syringe. If your dog requires medication, happy to discuss. (In case you're wondering why my testimonials haven't been updated recently, it's because I took a break from Rover to be more available to sit for family and friends. Sadly, some of those lovely pets have passed away now. It means though that I have the availability to return to Rover and I'm happy to be back!) In my initial meeting with a family, I like to get a sense of the pet's routine to determine if I can recreate that for them while their parent is away. My schedule, aside from my 9-5, is dictated by the pet's needs. I prefer to care for a pet in their own home. Before accepting a new client, I like to meet the pet and the parent(s) to make sure we're all vibing. I determine routine/schedule/likes/dislikes with the parent(s) in advance and stay in touch if something needs to deviate, which is rare.

About: I am very punctual and am responsible. I have taken care of dogs all my life and love animals. I have rescued plenty of stray dogs and that is one of my lifetime goals. I do believe in treating all animals with the same care and respect. One of my special skills is I can take care of any dog. No matter the size or the amount of work needed, I will make sure your dog receives the same love and affection you desire for it to have. You will not find anyone more loving and caring about dogs than I am. I also have a bunch of energy and love to play with energetic dogs. I am also great with older dogs who would much rather take it easy. I have extensive knowledge in dog sitting. I used to work for Pups Pet Club and through the organization I’ve learned how to take care of dogs any size.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for and training dogs through working closely with my 1.5-year-old German Shepherd. I attend weekly training sessions with her and regularly practice and reinforce those skills at home. Through these classes, I’ve also gained experience working around other dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and training backgrounds. In addition to my practical experience, I’m currently pursuing a dog training certification with ISCDT to continue learning more about canine behavior and effective, humane training methods. About: I have always grown up with dogs in my life, and wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was little. I have worked at multiple humane societies caring for the dogs, and have an array of experience through schooling, and an externship at a Pet Clinic. I am confident that I can provide quality care for your furry babies, and make sure they are comfortable and happy! I have a keen eye for observing their behaviors/tendencies, so this will be important if they seem to be in pain or discomfort. I only want the best for your pet since I understand the importance of their companionship. I am currently traveling, so looking for some gig work while I’m on the East Coast, but usually I’m living in Hawaii and am self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I make sure to be patient with each animal and let them come to me. I won’t force them to be social, and will be aware of their behaviors to ensure safety and trust is built between us. Also being mindful of their interactions with other dogs or humans if they have any issues with them.
