About: My parents have a rhodesian ridgeback mix Rocky (about 75 lb) that I have cared for the last 5 years so far. I walk my friends rescue mut Stella (about 15 lb) when she vacations. I walk daily and am looking to fill my time doing what I love. I prefer weekday afternoons as I work as a nurse through the weekends, but I can be flexible at times! I accept same day bookings. I can be available for short or long walks. I will walk your dog on their usual path, leashed, and picking up any messes along the way. Sadly, some of those lovely pets have passed away now. It means though that I have the availability to return to Rover and I'm happy to be back!) In my initial meeting with a family, I like to get a sense of the pet's routine to determine if I can recreate that for them while their parent is away. My schedule, aside from my 9-5, is dictated by the pet's needs. I prefer to care for a pet in their own home. Before accepting a new client, I like to meet the pet and the parent(s) to make sure we're all vibing. I determine routine/schedule/likes/dislikes with the parent(s) in advance and stay in touch if something needs to deviate, which is rare.

About: I am a huge animal lover and have spent a lot of time rescuing homeless cats in my neighborhood. I have trapped 20 stray cats, vetted them, and found them homes. From this I have 7 of my own cats. I also have rescued two dogs from shelters. One is a Pitbull and the other an English Bull Dog. Growing up I always had pets around. As a Special Education Teacher I am available all weekdays after 5pm and I have complete open availability on weekends and school vacations (December, April). About: Ive had years of experience between puppies to senior dogs. All deserve the same love. I've had a litter of 8 puppies 11 years ago and it taught me more than any book could. I still have one from that litter to this day. All dogs are different and need to be catered to independently. They all have their own love language. I work part time and its flexible, so I'm looking to fill the gaps with zoomies, pets, treats and love from dogs and other animals. Connor did an outstanding job taking care of Willow. He came to our home to meet her prior to his care date. He anticipated our dog’s need to know and trust him so he asked if he could bring her treats and even asked about possible food allergies. During our meet and greet he was kind, patient, very loving towards our dog, asked appropriate questions, and took the time to take a walk to strengthen his bond with Willow. I knew right away that he was trustworthy and quite capable of handling our sometimes wary Great Pyrenees. On the care date, Connor arrived for two walks on time, followed my instructions, sent me pictures and updates as to how our dog was doing, tracked the walk so I could see where they went, and even fed her as well as my two cats! He left the house immaculate and we returned home to a very happy dog. I highly recommend Connor and will definitely hire him again.
