1. Mikayla & Justin W.
About: Hello! My name is Mikayla and I am a Yale graduate student who recently moved to New Haven with my husband. Since 2010, and on my own since 2017, I took care of my family yellow lab, Molly, until she passed at 13.5 years old. Through this, I have had experience with all stages of a dog’s life, with extensive experience in senior care. I am also available for boarding other pets as well (i.e. cats). Due to my flexible school schedule I am available to walk or board your pet at most times throughout the week. My husband, Justin, and I cannot wait to welcome your pet into our home and we promise to love and take of them while you are away. Feel free to reach out if you have any direct questions. Looking forward to caring for your pet!! 😊 I am a graduate nursing student with a flexible schedule where I only go into school or clinicals 2x a week. I am also able to come back throughout the day during those times. Lastly, my husband works from home so someone is always there to care for your pet. I have a partially fenced yard for your dog to play and use the restroom. Our home is open and clean, making it easy for cats and dogs to move around. It is 2 floors, but the first floor is main living so senior pets do not need to access the stairs.

6. Nathan B.
“When I first got my dog, Ash, he had separation anxiety due to his previous living situation, and I was admittedly overwhelmed with the care he needed. I reached out to Nate for help boarding, feeding, and emotionally supporting Ash until I could get him fully integrated into my life. Nate was an awesome friend for Ash, and I know he will be for your fur friend too!”

7. Gabriel M.

12. Marco W.
About: I am an exceptional dog trainer which is another service that I provide. I don't mind working with troubled or hard cases. Raised dogs half my life. Used to be deeply involved with different rescue operations and local vets to do what I can for these pups. Also have experience with dog boarding at corporate facilities however I run everything right out of my home. So it's more like visiting your pups uncle Marco rather than a lil puppy prison. My other day job is taking care of my handicapped mother so no reason that I can't take care if some furry balls of move too while I'm at it! I'm home often which is where I board and watch the puppers. So we have a fenced in back yard and a large house. My mother does smoke but only upstairs and in her room. Bad mother! However its relatively isolated and isnt noticeable from downstairs. We have a 5 year old labrador retriever and small house cat to keep any visitors entertained! They are both very playful, gentle and non aggressive

13. Paris K.

15. Alicia C.
“Alicia C is an extreme dog enthusiast. She loves animals and treats them all as her own. Her home is their home and gives them great care. Totally would recommend. Elizabeth A.”

16. Maraya C.
About: I had a Maltese named Angel growing up and was the primary caregiver helping to walk her and feed her every day for the last few years of her life. I miss her terribly and love small dogs. I also have experience with chocolate labs and Yorkies. I give very good pets and will help practice learning tricks. I also equally love cats. I am a graduate student and my week and weekends are very flexible. My schedule is basically mine to adjust as I want with only two virtual classes and a few meetings during the day. I like to take hourly breaks in my day to walk dogs for exercise or play with cats. I would go to my clients home because I have one kitten at home now. I make sure the pets feel comfortable. I will give lots of pats and cuddles and give food and treats that are pre-approved by the pet parent.

17. Rachel K.
About: I have been using Rover on and off for years and have met so many amazing dogs and their owners. I am active and love to be outside. I grew up with pets and am very compassionate towards all animals, especially dogs and cats. I have taken care of neighbors' dogs and homes while growing up. I live in North Branford with my fiancé, our cat Charlie and our dog Roz. Charlie came from a shelter and loves to be around other animals. Sometimes she can act like a dog herself. Roz was adopted from Save-A-Lab and is the sweetest girl. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I look forward to meeting your pet! I’m a personal trainer so I am typically available between 11 am and 4 pm. With so much free time on my hands and my love for being active, I decided I’d walk dogs part-time! If a dog is outside in their fenced yard, I’ll never take my eyes off of them. Ya never know if they’ve been plotting their escape! 😏 I always keep a dog on a leash. I prefer a non-retractable leash.

18. Rachel R.
“Rachel has been a reliable and trustworthy dog and house sitter for me for years. She takes wonderful care of my two dogs and I always come home to tired pups. I have a large German Shepherd mix that can be a bit of a troublemaker and Rachel handles her without difficulty. I would definitely recommend Rachel!”

19. Angeline M.

“It is very clear that Angeline loves dogs. She is reliable, communicates well, and she is great with my dog. She was patient getting to know him, and did a great job winning him over (no easy feat).”

20. Melissa F.
“Melissa is one of the most animal friendly people I have ever met and would be a great companion for any dog or cat. I have seen firsthand how dependable and caring she is while pet sitting.”
