About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.

About: Every dog's different, so I meet them where they're at. Puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, whatever pace they need, that's the walk they get. Fresh water, a photo, and a quick check-in every time. I am usually always available on weekends, and throughout the week, so I will have a lot of free time to hang with your furry friends! About: Hello Rover customers, I have taken care of pets since I was a child and have taken care of my family’s fur babies since my kids were small. I am currently left with my senior cat at home but would love to take great care of your beloved fur babies. I am currently self employed and work part time during the weekdays. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate as needed with enough notice! I have a fenced in yard for my animals if needed but I am very careful in customer’s homes and make sure to not leave without checking my surroundings first so no animals gets out the door.

About: I have been around and caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of pets and their individual needs. I’ve had many different types of animals of my own, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, and more, and I’ve also regularly cared for pets belonging to friends, family, neighbors, and multiple families. I’ve cared for households with anywhere from one to three pets at a time and am comfortable following specific feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications or special instructions, and each pet’s individual personality and needs. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. I’m responsible, attentive, patient, and always want the pets in my care to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I’m currently in my last semester of college, and my class schedule is very flexible with plenty of time between classes. I also work a flexible part-time job that I can easily schedule around pet care. Because of this, I have a very open schedule and can make myself available for my clients with advance notice. I’m able to stop by multiple times throughout the day, including before or after classes and during breaks, for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, or simply some extra company. I can be very flexible with drop-ins, walks, sitting, and boarding, and I’m happy to work around whatever routine is best for each pet. I prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I’m very attentive and will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. Since my schedule is so open, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention rather than rushing through a visit. I’m also happy to spend extra time with them if they need companionship, exercise, or reassurance. I treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I have had lots of different types of animal experiences since I was a child including always having a cat in the household and volunteering with animal shelters. My specialty is cats but I have a few years experience with sitting and walking dogs as well. I am always up for a new challenge and am very capable and adaptable. I have worked in many animal shelters, as well as managed a cat shelter, so I am very comfortable approaching all animals. I have a very flexible schedule because I run my own cat oriented business and make my own hours. My whole life is animals, so I love to fit them into my life as much as possible. I currently only offer services in my clients’ homes, and to ensure that their pets are always safe and secure, I am very on top of communication and checking in with my pet parents. I like to review all instructions together to make sure I don’t have any questions and know exactly what contacts are (vet, ER, friends) for emergencies. I always respect other people’s space and will leave things exactly as I left them, if not better. Letting someone into your home to take care of your fur family requires a lot of trust and I feel honored when someone allows me that privilege.

About: I have been owned by cats my entire life and have taken care of dogs of all kinds for family and friends for years. I am comfortable with giving medication to cats, including insulin shots. I've had 2 diabetic cats. I am also a Reiki Level 2 practitioner and can give reiki to pets. I have always been the go to pet sitter for my family and friends when they go on vacation. I'm known as the animal whisperer and can usually win over any animal! Just a quick note that my evening visit window ends at 7pm. If you need a later time for a drop-in visit, please mention it before booking so we can confirm whether it is possible. Thanks! I am a home healthcare worker so I have a flexible schedule. I usually finish for the day between 2:30 and 3:30 and am available after that. I can be available during the work day (9-3) with advanced notice to schedule patients around pets! I can also be available some mornings earlier than 9 with advance notice. I will happily come to your home and play with and feed your cats and dogs. I will also walk your dogs and claen up after them. I am willing to give medication if necessary as well.

About: Ive had years of experience between puppies to senior dogs. All deserve the same love. I've had a litter of 8 puppies 11 years ago and it taught me more than any book could. I still have one from that litter to this day. All dogs are different and need to be catered to independently. They all have their own love language. I work part time and its flexible, so I'm looking to fill the gaps with zoomies, pets, treats and love from dogs and other animals. In home, I have a large fenced yard, but prefer a walk so we both get exercise. Clients homes depend on what they have available.

About: I am a huge animal lover and have spent a lot of time rescuing homeless cats in my neighborhood. I have trapped 20 stray cats, vetted them, and found them homes. From this I have 7 of my own cats. I also have rescued two dogs from shelters. One is a Pitbull and the other an English Bull Dog. Growing up I always had pets around. As a Special Education Teacher I am available all weekdays after 5pm and I have complete open availability on weekends and school vacations (December, April). I have no problem with high energy or needy animals. I am comfortable cleaning up pet messes, playing, walking, and providing medicine if needed. I will do anything an animal needs.

About: I have been dog-sitting since I was 13 years old for neighbors, family members, and coworkers. Even after being at my work for a few weeks, my coworkers trusted me to stay at their homes for a week at a time watching their dogs. During these times I would walk, feed, and bathe their dogs. I even have a dog of my own and treat every dog that comes my way the same as I would my Milo. I have a flexible schedule that makes it easy to fit pet care into my routine. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. On weekends, I’m generally very flexible and can dedicate plenty of time to making sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I live near Central Park and the west side highway as well as other dog friendly area. II always follow each pet’s normal routine and their owner’s instructions, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. My home is kept very clean and tidy, with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable and safe. I’m also happy to send photos and updates along the way!

About: I've pet-sat for dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs since 2001. My sittings have ranged from a few hours to two weeks. I've sat for family, friends, and many parents here on Rover. My family has included two cats, Cleopatra and Caesar, and dogs Valentine, Athos, and Teddy. My goal as a sitter is to offer stability and enrichment while their parent is away. I'm available for drop-ins and overnights and happy to care for your home during the stay, watering plants, etc. My schedule is very flexible outside of my 9-5 at Yale. Why I love pet sitting Who doesn't love some fuzzy company? And I understand from watching our family pets how disorienting a kennel can be. In-home sitting puts pets (and you!) at ease when you're away, so they can enjoy the "vacation" just as much as you can! My experience administering medication I've given pill medication via pill packs and oral liquid medication via syringe. If your dog requires medication, happy to discuss. (In case you're wondering why my testimonials haven't been updated recently, it's because I took a break from Rover to be more available to sit for family and friends. Sadly, some of those lovely pets have passed away now. It means though that I have the availability to return to Rover and I'm happy to be back!) In my initial meeting with a family, I like to get a sense of the pet's routine to determine if I can recreate that for them while their parent is away. My schedule, aside from my 9-5, is dictated by the pet's needs. I prefer to care for a pet in their own home. Before accepting a new client, I like to meet the pet and the parent(s) to make sure we're all vibing. I determine routine/schedule/likes/dislikes with the parent(s) in advance and stay in touch if something needs to deviate, which is rare.

I trained my own animals through the puppy stages & taken care of animals through all stages of life Im working part time & will be able to care for animals with 2 days notice. I prefer to keep animals in their home, rather than board in mine. Although willing to discuss options! I am happy to care for your animal at your home & provide regular check ins, potty breaks, feeding, & medication (if needed).
