About: I have grown up around dogs, my childhood pet was a Great Dane, and I now own a Great Pyrenees. I love all kinds of animals no matter what size. I love to walk my dog Luna, and training her to walk with me was no easy feat but she's amazing now. Building relationships with animals has always been a passion for me growing up. I am currently working part-time, and I am also a university student going for Nursing part-time. I do commute to school so I am flexible. I have a rescued Great Pyrenees, she's now 2 years old, and loves sleeping, playing, and being with family. She's great with kids and dog-friendly.

I am comfortable with medication administration, monitoring for health concerns, and handling anxious or high-energy dogs using low-stress, Fear Free techniques. I understand how important routine, exercise, patience, and safety are, and I strive to make every dog feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I am extremely flexible and focused on caring for your pet exactly when you need it. Please let me know what your exact needs are and I will work to accommodate! I care for pets in their home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep them comfortable in a familiar environment. I prioritize safety, patience, and close attention to behavior and health changes while ensuring pets receive plenty of enrichment, affection, exercise, and clean living spaces. With my veterinary background, I am also comfortable administering medications, monitoring for medical concerns, and handling pets with anxiety or special needs using low-stress, Fear Free techniques. I treat every home respectfully and every pet as if they were my own. I will always be reachable if your pets are in my care, and I love getting to sending photo updates and videos if allowed/requested! I will always have my own transportation in the case an emergency ever occurred, I have been trained in canine and feline CPR by my employer.

About: I’ve worked with various animals for over 10 years, and in that time I have also pet sit for friends. I am comfortable handling a wide range of pets. My rabbit is 10 years young and thriving, and my cat is almost 3 and rambunctious. I am experienced in dog, cat, or other senior care. I have also helped friends with socializing foster puppies. I am confident in giving oral medication as well! I just graduated college with a degree in animal science. I recently picked up a job during weekdays in Trumbull, but I can still walk your dog/watch your pet! Generally, I am free: Sat/Sun - Anytime M-F - Extremely early morning or after 3:30pm I will always provide fresh water when I come in and before I leave. If the pet makes a mess I will immediately dispose of it, however if any part of the mess was assumed to be ingested I will let the owner know as soon as possible. Should the pet use the bathroom in the house I will clean and sanitize the area and dispose of the waste outside. The pet will have my full attention and treated with respect during my time with it.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats. My responsibilities have included feeding, providing fresh water, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes and living areas, administering medications when needed, and ensuring pets receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I am attentive to each pet's individual needs and prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I am reliable, patient, and committed to providing loving, responsible care while owners are away. I’m currently unemployed while my children are in daycare and after school programs. Outside of appointments I’m free spending time with my cats and my females kittens I currently have 2 black cats. My female whom I rescued recently was pregnant and had 6 babies(3 weeks old) I’ve also had dogs and cats in my past. I love animals. My home is clean and organized.

About: I am a huge animal lover and have spent a lot of time rescuing homeless cats in my neighborhood. I have trapped 20 stray cats, vetted them, and found them homes. From this I have 7 of my own cats. I also have rescued two dogs from shelters. One is a Pitbull and the other an English Bull Dog. Growing up I always had pets around. I am a special education teacher working summer school. I have weekday availability from 1:30 PM into the evening and open weekend availability. Starting August 1st I will have daily open availability until August 24th. Beginning August 24th I will have a weeknight availability and open weekend availability. I have no problem with high energy or needy animals. I am comfortable cleaning up pet messes, playing, walking, and providing medicine if needed. I will do anything an animal needs.

About: I have a lot of love to give to all fur babies. I have had dogs my entire life. No matter how young or old, I have the time and patience and special love catered to fit your babies needs. The more notice I receive, the better care I can give, HOWEVER, no matter the notice, all my love is always given as often as agreed upon. I can watch your dogs in your home only as we are currently in a smaller home with animals of our own that need their space. I will spend as little or as much time with your babies as requested.

About: I have always grown up with dogs in my life, and wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was little. I have worked at multiple humane societies caring for the dogs, and have an array of experience through schooling, and an externship at a Pet Clinic. I care deeply for animals of all types, and I would like to spend the rest of my life ensuring their wellbeing, and protection. I am confident that I can provide quality care for your furry babies, and make sure they are comfortable and happy! I have a keen eye for observing their behaviors/tendencies, so this will be important if they seem to be in pain or discomfort. I only want the best for your pet since I understand the importance of their companionship. I am currently traveling, so looking for some gig work while I’m on the East Coast, but usually I’m living in Hawaii and am self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I make sure to be patient with each animal and let them come to me. I won’t force them to be social, and will be aware of their behaviors to ensure safety and trust is built between us. Also being mindful of their interactions with other dogs or humans if they have any issues with them.

About: I’ve always had a cat & now I care for my small dog! I trained my own animals through the puppy stages & taken care of animals through all stages of life Im working part time & will be able to care for animals with 2 days notice. I prefer to keep animals in their home, rather than board in mine. Although willing to discuss options! I am happy to care for your animal at your home & provide regular check ins, potty breaks, feeding, & medication (if needed). It’s important to keep a routine with animals, & will do everything I can to maintain balance.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for 20 years. I’m currently a volunteer at the Branford Compassion Club where I take care of dozens of cats. I absolutely love animals and taking care of them is my true passion. I understand how anxiety inducing leaving your pets can be when you go on vacation and I promise to take care of them like I do my own. I’m available on weekends and any time on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s. I work from 8:30am - 5pm on Tuesday’s and Fridays so I’m only available early in the morning and after 5 pm. I will take care of feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, and play time. I’m experienced in giving pets medication so I can do that if needed.

About: I've got a Labrador retriever that wants to be everybody's friend and kids that love pets. I typically work-from-home throughout the week. I enjoy being active, so doggie time outside (walking in our neighborhood, hiking our local trails, or playing fetch outside) is right up my alley! Our cat passed away in 2024, but I'm keeping him on my profile so he will live on! :) I typically work from home and start a pet care routine for our pets in the morning and throughout the day. We're in a friendly neighborhood with many dog owners and a safe place for walking dogs. There are also some trails within driving distance. Our dog gets play time outside either by playing fetch or with a walk, and of course lots of love from the kids. I have a long lead that allows dogs to play in the front/back yard safely. Any dog's time outside is supervised to make sure they are not eating anything they shouldn't and getting the play time they need. A crate in the home is available.

“Alex came over every weekday to walk and play with my Morkie, Kimchi, while I was in Scotland for a month. Alex sent me pictures of Kimchi and gave me a report on what they did every day -- it was great! I came home to a happy, relaxed dog, so I know he had a good time. I felt reassured that he was doing well, and I plan to have Alex continue to visit from time to time so they can keep up their friendship. This was the next best thing to having Kimchi with me! I highly recommend Alex.”
