About: I’m a teacher who enjoys caring for animals and giving their humans peace of mind. I’m certified in Pet First Aid/CPR. My son, Brett is trained as a Veterinary Assistant. My husband, Jerry enjoys getting to know the dog’s play and relaxation styles. We have experience in caring for pets with medical needs and senior dogs. We also have experience with dogs who use crates, if that is what works for yours. We are lifelong dog owners and currently live with Sailor, our 8 year old beagle mix and our turtle Coco. About: I have a depth and variety of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare, where I handled multiple dogs at once in group settings, giving me valuable experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I’m very familiar with reading canine body language and making sure play stays safe and respectful. I’ve also cared for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my care to their unique needs—whether it’s helping with early training for a new pup or making sure an older dog is comfortable and supported throughout the day. About: I had a wheaten terrier for 14 years. I have done tons of pet sitting for cats and dogs for about ten years. Recently I helped train a greater Swiss mountain dog puppy. I have worked with big and small dogs and dogs of all ages. From working on training with puppies to keeping a medication schedule for an older or sick pup, I have experience. I love all breeds. I have a flexible schedule, so I’m looking to add to my day with some exercise and fun with your dog(s)! I can care for up to three at a time. I can provide companionship, exercise and care for your pet at your home or at my home. While I am in the office for about 3-4 hours some days, I work from home a lot.

About: Hello! My name is Sam and dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and have always had a hand in caring for my family's pets. Within the last year I have had the opportunity to help whelp two litters of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love getting to know new dogs and cats, and have been known to leave my table at a restaurant to pet a dog I see through the window. I am the person at the party seeking out the pets so I can talk to them, rather than talk to the humans! I attend obedience classes with my own dogs weekly, and will be attending handling classes soon as well. Nothing brightens my day like being greeted by a dog, and getting to take care of them. I’ve cared for and sat for friends’ and family’s fur babies over the years, treating each one like my own. I truly believe every pet is a special member of the family and deserves love, patience, and great care. I work from home 3 days a week so will have lunch breaks to take your fur baby or babies out for sun, air, play, and company. I also am free on weekends and overnights as needed to help give your animals the love, attention, and company they need when you’re away. About: Experience: I have previous experience dog sitting back in Maryland where I just moved from. I walked and took care of multiple animals there. I volunteered at the animal shelter every week when I was younger, and I have a dog of my own named Nova who I care for as well. I wanted to be a Veterinarian when I was younger but recently I am majoring in both Biology and Chemistry. Skills: I am a very hands on person and love to walk and run throughout the week. I find that pet sitting will be a perfect way to stay active as well as do what I love! Currently I take care of my dog named Nova who I walk everyday, and make sure she gets enough exercise throughout the week. After her walk I will feed her and make sure she has everything she needs before we spend quality time together either lounging around in the house or playing with her toys. I always make sure the pet feels comfortable and safe. I don't push the animal if she/he is shy and often let it come to me when it is ready. Although I still try to provide a safe and understanding environment for the pet to feel secure and safe because that is my number one priority as a pet owner myself.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents who have 3 dogs, 3 cats including a senior dog. I've established my own clients weekly and on an as needed basis. I am open to all types of pets and needs. I work from home so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

Our dogs are our family and we welcome pet friends up to date on shots, non aggressive, up to 20lbs for overnights and day care in my homes. Your furry friend will be loved and played with like they’re our family. Walks to the beach and the neighborhood will be often. Yes we do allow our pets on our furniture and yes they do sleep in our beds. We have many pet dog toys so the day/night will be fun filled. I have rescued and volunteered and have had 12 rescues of my own throughout the years. My 2 dogs are Mia and Mindi. One is a cava-shu and the other a Morkie. They are sweet and lovable and 11-12 pounds. They love walks, going on rides, playing and being close. They are 13 and 16. My home is located in Old Saybrook which is smoke free. I do have a very flexible schedule and a doggy cam when I am not there. Your fur baby will love laying by the enclosed fireplace during winter nights or with me. Going on vacation and need someone to check on your home, water your plants, take in the mail, feed the fish I can also offer you these services. Rides to the vets and dog grooming. Lets meet and greet. From morning breakfast to walks by the beach to playing. Please let me know what your pet loves to do whether it’s playing with a toy, a ball or just being cuddled. My home is smoke free, very clean and filled with many dog toys. Your dog will be cared for as though they were my own with hugs, walks and playtime.

I have two cats who are safely in the house at all times, and when I pet sit for my friend, her dog is usually in the crate and then I walk him and let him out and switch the cats in and out of rooms.
