Our cats are shy but she was able to get them to come to her and play with them. House was clean with no trace of litter tracking and garbage was taken out when we returned from our honeymoon. “Working with Katherine to take care of our cat while we were away was the best decision we could have made. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes and needed insulin injections twice a day. In our chats as we were deciding who to care for our little guy, she asked really good questions to show that she understands giving medications and injections to cats. The fact that she works at the Branford Compassion Club was a huge plus as well for understanding dealing with all kinds of cats. She came over to see how we went through the process of medication and feeding, and made sure to ask lots of questions about his habits. Even when he was apprehensive on the first day, Katherine stuck with him and gave him extra time to acclimate. Over the course of a week, they became good friends, and you could tell how much fun he had when she came over from the pictures she sent. Katherine always kept us up-to-date with how he seemed to be doing, and it made us feel so comfortable knowing he was cared for with love. When we came back, he was energetic, had a great feel to his coat, and looked like he was relaxed had the best time. Going away so soon after a diagnosis like this was uncomfortable, but Katherine is a consummate professional and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without fear of our little guy not getting the care and attention he needs. It’s unfortunate that we can only give her 5 stars. Katherine hands down is the person that you want watching your best friend when you can’t be home.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last ten years. I had Libra and Shadow who were both pit Bulls. I now help my partners take care of their dogs Noel and Benji. I work Tuesday thru Friday so I’m mostly available during the weekends as well as Monday, but I’m more than able to work something out depending on the emergency. I live in a very safe area in Madison. We have all the necessary tools to create a safe and loving environment for your fur babies.

I live with my 17 year old son. Your dog MUST be house trained, vaccinated, and on flea/tick prevention. And your doggy must love kids because we love dogs! We play fetch a lot and lots of walks in our big yard. I also walk a few miles a day and love the company! We also have a dog run. I usually take one dog at a time (unless otherwise specified) so they get our total attention and its a small house. We do not have our own dog. PLEASE PLEASE check my calendar for availability first. I do request a meet and greet if you are a new client to make sure it is a good fit for us all. I am a teacher, so we follow a teacher daily schedule. So they MUST be ok home alone unless I am on school break and weekends. Please make sure your dog's information is filled out proir to booking. We hope to hear from you soon! Thank you! I am a teacher. So I follow the teacher schedule (hrs, off time). The dog must be able to be left alone during the typical school hours. Pets are inside with me. When I go out I like to take the dog with me-car rides, walks, baseball games etc. If its too hot I do have central air.
