About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13 years old. Family and friends always ask me for help. I have grown up around animals and know their behaviors. I take care of 2 indoor cats on my own. I also help my mom and grandma with the strays around our house taking them to the vet spaying/neutering them. I originally wanted to be a veterinarian and did shadowing at the Northford Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Minott and dealt with medication and nail clipping. I understand the signs and situations of an animal that is scared or feels danger. I have helped foster kittens and puppies from strays, preparing them to be adopted. My mom has worked at the Central Veterinary Hospital for many years. She has taken me to work many times showing me the ins and outs of the hospital. I also have experience with oral medication helping my mom with our dogs! I’m enrolled into The University of Tampa full time, but I have the entire summer free from June-August. I am an active person and would love spending time out side with your pet! In your home I will respect your property/privacy. Whatever you need me to do for your furry pet I will do! I will make sure they’re safe, loved and cared for!

About: I have been pet sitting for over six years and have cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I have experience with a wide variety of animals, ranging from horses and lizards to dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs of my own, one is 4 years old and the other is 12. I understand the different needs pets may have at every stage of life. I am comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments and can administer oral medications when needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I recently graduated from Fairfield University with my nursing degree and have begun my career as an emergency department nurse. About: From a young age, I've carried an empathetic, playful, and nurturing nature. As an experienced in-home kitten foster, life-long cat owner, and a certified dog lover, I view responsibilities as a pleasure because I greatly value the companionship of cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes, conditions, and most importantly, personalities. I follow directions steadfastly but tend to go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of your pet(s)! I am free all days of the week, at most hours of the day at the convenience of pet owners in need of assistance. I am also free to board overnight! I serve wet food and treats (different types of treats according to the pet's preference) several times a day, clean the water bowl/dispenser out daily and allot outside time every few hours. For cats, I scoop the litter every night; for dogs, I go out on long walks multiple times a day, depending on the owner's instruction. For all animals, recreational time is vital, and so I do like to play with them a lot, whether it be outside, at a dog park, and/or with any trinkets.

“Tarah was sooo amazing with my cat, Mao Mao! My husband and I went away for 2 weeks on our honeymoon, which is the longest we've been away before so I was worried leaving her that long. But Tarah eased every single worry I had! She gave amazing updates and pictures of Mao Mao while we were gone, made sure her litter boxes were clean, her food bowl was filled, and that she got lots of love and pets while we were away! She was so responsive and easy to get ahold of and really went above and beyond for us! I would 100% book with Tarah again for any trip we take in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs of all sizes myself, and have friends and family whose cats I’ve watched as well. I am extremely active and can walk/run dogs all day long! I’d love to help your dogs be more active with me! I am a college student who works on campus, but I do have afternoons and weekends free. I have a reliable vehicle so I can make it to appointments. I’d love to get on a weekly schedule of dog walking to make activity normal for their lives and mine! I’m very respectful and professional about being invited into someone’s home to care for their pet. I’m a stickler for rules and standards, and will always communicate what the proper care is before I arrive for your pet.

About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.

About: I have had lots of different types of animal experiences since I was a child including always having a cat in the household and volunteering with animal shelters. My specialty is cats but I have a few years experience with sitting and walking dogs as well. I am always up for a new challenge and am very capable and adaptable. I have worked in many animal shelters, as well as managed a cat shelter, so I am very comfortable approaching all animals. I have a very flexible schedule because I run my own cat oriented business and make my own hours. My whole life is animals, so I love to fit them into my life as much as possible. I currently only offer services in my clients’ homes, and to ensure that their pets are always safe and secure, I am very on top of communication and checking in with my pet parents. I like to review all instructions together to make sure I don’t have any questions and know exactly what contacts are (vet, ER, friends) for emergencies. I always respect other people’s space and will leave things exactly as I left them, if not better. Letting someone into your home to take care of your fur family requires a lot of trust and I feel honored when someone allows me that privilege.
