“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

About: I have grown up around dogs, my childhood pet was a Great Dane, and I now own a Great Pyrenees. I love all kinds of animals no matter what size. I love to walk my dog Luna, and training her to walk with me was no easy feat but she's amazing now. Building relationships with animals has always been a passion for me growing up. I am currently working part-time, and I am also a university student going for Nursing part-time. I do commute to school so I am flexible. I have a rescued Great Pyrenees, she's now 2 years old, and loves sleeping, playing, and being with family. She's great with kids and dog-friendly.

About: I can provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience for your fur baby. I’ve had labs, a Rottweiler, and a poodle. Comfortable giving meds too and caring for older dogs. I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. My job allows me flexibility because I work from home. It will be easy to sit, feed, and walk your dog and be a companion. I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. I can easily crate your dog if needed and take he/she for walks such as down to the park or the beach or town center.

About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.

About: I've taken care of doggos anywhere between 15 weeks and 15 years old, and I've loved every one of them. While not certified as a trainer, I'm do have experience training my own pup, Doc, who was born March 2025, and he's a good boy who will love hanging out with your dog too. I'm currently a full-time dad to a Golden Retriever puppy (Doc) and a three-year-old human boy. Having your dog here is great for me because I love dogs, great for Doc because he love dogs, and great for you! I have a fenced-in section of my back yard and deck for dogs to safely play. Doc has play dates come over all the time to run and fetch. He's super friendly and has never met a dog he didn't love. Like me!

“I'm so glad that I met Mari and wish that I had met her years ago to take care of my gentle boy, Logan! Mari is a wonderful individual, the kind of person who makes you feel like your soulmate pup will be in caring hands. She was flexible with our meet and greet & also when the original date changed. Mari is a calm, kind, friendly person who cares about the well-being of your doggo. :) She doesn't take on more than 1 dog at a time, which means your pup will get the extra attention they may need. This is reassuring in case one dog isn't a fan of other dogs or plays rough. Logan is 12 years in age & has slowed down due to a previous leg injury. It was important for me to leave him in a safe, calm space with an attentive, kind person. Mari's home was truly the right place for him! During Logan's visit, Mari kept me updated on how he was doing and sent plenty of cute photos. I really appreciate Mari's kindness with Logan & taking good care of him. I know that he felt good being with her. Thank you, Mari!!”

About: I will take care of your best friend with the same love I show my sweet Labrador’s. I will show patience and love with each of your dogs walks and make sure that they get all their business done, plenty of exercise and time for sniffing all the things as well. If I sit over night you will have to specify not to let them on the bed bc I will want to snuggle and make them feel at ease while you are gone. I will send pictures of your pet playing, relaxing and keep you up to date on if he/she used the bathroom and make you feel comfortable while away from your pet because I know it’s not always easy. I will be your best friends, friend.

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I balance my time with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter, so I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. My house has a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!

About: What differentiates me from other pet care is that I stay true to the routine of the pets that are under my care. Dogs need a routine to feel calm and safe. Walks, sweets and feeding should be done at the usual time so that the dog feels comfortable and stress is avoided. I make sure to get details and a schedule from the owner to be able to fulfill them as much as possible. The pets' routines are my priority, I take them out to do their basic needs, I feed them, I take them for a walk, they hydrate, they take their nap, I give them lunch, I take them to do their needs, I take them for a walk, I give them their snack, I take them out to do their needs, I take them for a walk, and to sleep until the next day. I keep the area clean, I always change their water, I treat them as if they were my children and I treat the house as if it were my home
