About: I have been using Rover on and off for years and have met so many amazing dogs and their owners. I am active and love to be outside. I grew up with pets and am very compassionate towards all animals, especially dogs and cats. I have taken care of neighbors' dogs and homes while growing up. I live in North Branford with my fiancé, our cat Charlie and our dog Roz. Charlie came from a shelter and loves to be around other animals. Sometimes she can act like a dog herself. Roz was adopted from Save-A-Lab and is the sweetest girl. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I look forward to meeting your pet! I’m a personal trainer so I am typically available between 11 am and 4 pm. With so much free time on my hands and my love for being active, I decided I’d walk dogs part-time! If a dog is outside in their fenced yard, I’ll never take my eyes off of them. Ya never know if they’ve been plotting their escape! 😏 I always keep a dog on a leash. I prefer a non-retractable leash.

“Anne-Marie is wonderful. My cat can be a little cautious when she meets new people, but at first sight, she walked right up to her asking for pets. She was on time every day and provided a variety of pictures to let me know my cat was in good hands. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have owned a Labrador Retriever, Jack Russell and two German Shepherds and have dog sat many others. I have had twelve years of experience with dog sitting. I will treat your dog like family with lots of love, spending time with them and many walks and adventures to dog parks around the area. I will give them lots of treats. I have a flexible schedule, which I am able to pet sit at last notice. I have a dog name Juno who is a three year old Labrador who is friendly and gets along with all dogs. I would like meet and greets just to know the dog before hand and the dog knows me and Juno before we welcome them into our home! We want to create a welcoming home to your dog by not being a total stranger watching them, helping your dog with adjusting as their family is away. I currently work as a nurse so on my days off I am usually at home hanging with Juno and going on walks or playing in the uard I have a fenced in yard share with the neighbors and it is a six foot fence and locks in the back. I will always be outside with the dogs to make sure they are safe and happy.

“Tyler is fantastic! Super caretaking for my cat over a whole week of meals, medications - lots of attention to detail. A very caring, attentive presence that my normally shy cat really responded to.”

I have experience with both staying overnight with pets and making visits throughout the day, so I can provide pet care any way you prefer! I know how difficult it can be to leave pets, so I try my best to ensure your pets will be as comfortable as they can be. (& please know that NO request is too much or weird for me- I have read dogs books before bed and tucked them in, per owners' request!)

“Courtney is an absolutely wonderful, trustworthy, caring cat-sitter. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her and to continue working with her as my periodic sitter. She has a lovely presence and a calming energy that my cats absolutely gravitate to--she immediately gained their trust and mine. Courtney is responsive and communicative, which really sets me at ease--especially when I've needed to take longer trips away from my two cats. I cannot recommend her more highly!”

“Jordan was the perfect pick to watch after our older cat who has specific needs. He was very responsive to her and kept to his schedule and natural rhythm the whole time we were away (8 whole days). We would definitely be interested in requesting her services for future trips.”

“My fur baby requires a great deal of attention due to some health challenges. This makes me very careful about who cares for him. I am so Blessed to have Liza taking care of my lil guy. I would highly recommend her to people that need puppy ? care”

“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

“Sarah and Steve took such great care of our puppy! We are so happy that she was in such good hands while we were at work. Sarah is super friendly and nice to work with. She sent updates, photos, and videos, which put us at ease throughout the day. Our pup was excited to see Sarah, and came home very tired at the end of the day. We would highly recommend Sarah and Steve!”
“Merlin had a BLAST with Raeven and team. We received a bunch of photos and a video that captured his personality and illustrated his enjoyment. 10/10 - your pup will enjoy a day with their squad.”

“Mariana is the greatest!!! My little guy normally suffers from tremendous separation anxiety, however, within Mariana’s care he was a happy little puppy the entire time. Thank you again Mariana!”

“Andrea was just wonderful. It was my first time leaving them with a sitter. I knew I could trust her with my babies right off the bat. She’s sweet and caring and communicated with me the whole time because I was anxious being away from them. It’s easy to see that she is a dog person to the core. Highly recommend!”

“Stephanie took great care of our pup and sent us pictures throughout the day. It eased our minds about leaving our pup in a new place while touring the Museum. If we are ever in the area again we will plan to use her pet services again!”

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I balance my full-time job (8:30-4) with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter. I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. My house has a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!

“Kristen was great with our 3 month old puppy. She was flexible, sent us plenty of pictures, and responded quickly. It was a serene getaway for him and he looked very comfortable in her home. She took him on walks and he walked really well with her. On the second day drop off Kameron was wagging his tail as we walked inside and went straight for a prized green toy he loved. The pictures she sent were beautiful and she was very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her would absolutely use her again.”

About: I am an exceptional dog trainer which is another service that I provide. I don't mind working with troubled or hard cases. Raised dogs half my life. Used to be deeply involved with different rescue operations and local vets to do what I can for these pups. Also have experience with dog boarding at corporate facilities however I run everything right out of my home. So it's more like visiting your pups uncle Marco rather than a lil puppy prison. My other day job is taking care of my handicapped mother so no reason that I can't take care if some furry balls of move too while I'm at it! I'm home often which is where I board and watch the puppers. So we have a fenced in back yard and a large house. My mother does smoke but only upstairs and in her room. Bad mother! However its relatively isolated and isnt noticeable from downstairs. We have a 5 year old labrador retriever and small house cat to keep any visitors entertained! They are both very playful, gentle and non aggressive

“Kaitlin was excellent; From the beginning she made me feel assured that she was doing this for the right reason - she showed she cared about my dog through a simple text, I know Evie had a great walk because she's still sleeping and its been over 3 hours since she got back. That makes me happy. Kaitlin was on time, friendly, and Evie seemed to have a great time with her. That's the most important part. So yes, I would recommend Kaitlin.”

Even when we have last minute bookings, she’s been available every time. He’s the only sitter that our pup looks forward to seeing. And he comes back clean, with freshly cut nails. If you need a sitter you can rely on and trust to treat your baby well, call Lauren.”

“My two little Morkies had a great time with Liza. They played with other dogs there and were pampered with lots of TLC. I think they wanted to stay and play when I came to pick them up. I got some cute photos from Liza, and I really appreciated that she enjoyed having them stay with her! I'm sure they will visit her again.”

About: I have a close connection with a well-respected, professional dog trainer. I can usually get helpful tips and techniques on short notice, which I have used to successfully train puppies on basic commands (sit, stay, etc). I have 1 cat (2yrs old) who is neutered, indoor, and very shy. I work from home so I spend a lot of time caring for my pet which includes 3 mealtimes, plus play/enrichment time, and relaxing downtime each day. For dog care, I have a small fenced in yard and live in a nice area, so dog walks and outdoor potty breaks are very convenient at most times of day.

“Jill and her son are lovely and their home is calm, clean, convenient and has a grassy yard. Jill was very understanding and communicative when my dog had some unexpected behavior during the stay.”

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We booked Mariana same day and were nervous due to it being our puppies first time with someone new. She far exceeded what we expected. She gave us updates on the hour, photos, videos and even cooked chicken for our very picky puppy. She made our dog feel a part of her family!”

“Bianka took great care of our dog Scooby, who presents with many challenges, including anxiety and blindness. She spent a lot of time with Scooby, such as by walking, petting, and playing with him. She even kept him company and played calming music for him when he woke up in the middle of the night. Bianka also sent frequent updates that included pictures. We are so grateful for Bianka!”
