“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

My husband, Jerry enjoys getting to know the dog’s play and relaxation styles. We have experience in caring for pets with medical needs and senior dogs. We have experience with pure bred, mixed breed, and rescue animals. We also have experience with dogs who use crates, if that is what works for yours. Our home is located in a wooded neighborhood with part of the yard fenced and land trust trails just around the corner.

She was so interested to find out all the little details ahead of time to ensure that they had a fun and comfortable day. Because of Peanut's special needs, my boyfriend and I are very nervous about leaving her with sitters, but after meeting Mary-Ellen, we felt sure that she would be in the best of hands. Mary-Ellen sent updates throughout the day along with several photos so I could see what fun they were having. Mary Ellen's home is adorable and sparkling clean, and as an added bonus, her daughter and Peanut really hit it off and had a wonderful time together. About: I am an animal lover and have been since I was hatched! That's a long time. I have never not had at least one dog, cat, or fish. Presently I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 fish. I have socialized feral cats, raised raccoons, rabbits, turtles, ferrets, cats, dogs of all kinds. I currently babysit part time, my kids are grown and I have plenty of time to devote to your petcare needs. I have been a paid pet care giver for over 20 years. I have the best behaved dogs on the block (because they trained me correctly). I do not spoil my dogs or treat them like children and I wont do that to yours, unless you really want me to. If you want them on your couch or your bed, that's what will happen. I will not spoil them by allowing them to do things that are not normally done. If I stay at your home, you can be rest assured that you will come home to a house that looks the same or is even cleaner than when you left! Whether your pet stays with me or I come to them, I promise that they will be care cared for, loved and treated with kindness and respect. I have relevent references. About: I can provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience for your fur baby. I’ve had labs, a Rottweiler, and a poodle. Comfortable giving meds too and caring for older dogs. I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. My job allows me flexibility because I work from home. It will be easy to sit, feed, and walk your dog and be a companion. I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. I can easily crate your dog if needed and take he/she for walks such as down to the park or the beach or town center.

I have volunteered multiple years for different shelters and agencies primarily with Dog Days; loving, caring and giving much vital attention to dogs in need. About: I have grown up around dogs, my childhood pet was a Great Dane, and I now own a Great Pyrenees. I love all kinds of animals no matter what size. I love to walk my dog Luna, and training her to walk with me was no easy feat but she's amazing now. Building relationships with animals has always been a passion for me growing up. About: I will take care of your best friend with the same love I show my sweet Labrador’s. I will show patience and love with each of your dogs walks and make sure that they get all their business done, plenty of exercise and time for sniffing all the things as well. If I sit over night you will have to specify not to let them on the bed bc I will want to snuggle and make them feel at ease while you are gone. I will send pictures of your pet playing, relaxing and keep you up to date on if he/she used the bathroom and make you feel comfortable while away from your pet because I know it’s not always easy. About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.
