“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

About: I’m a teacher who enjoys caring for animals and giving their humans peace of mind. I’m certified in Pet First Aid/CPR. My son, Brett is trained as a Veterinary Assistant. My husband, Jerry enjoys getting to know the dog’s play and relaxation styles. We have experience in caring for pets with medical needs and senior dogs. We also have experience with dogs who use crates, if that is what works for yours. We are lifelong dog owners and currently live with Sailor, our 8 year old beagle mix and our turtle Coco. Between the three of us, someone is usually home, but there may be times when we will be out of the home. Let us know what you need and let’s see if we can make it work! When you book with us, we lock your rates in so you pay the same rate for future bookings. Your dog will be treated like one of the family! We offer free Meet and Greets to make sure everyone is comfortable before the stay begins. We take just one family at a time. We provide individualized support and care based on the information you share. We are also insured. Our home is located in a wooded neighborhood with part of the yard fenced and land trust trails just around the corner.

“Very happy and relieved! I had to book last-minute for my pup when a neighbor had to cancel, and Adriana & Christopher were able to take Lucy at their house for the day. I worry about her because Lucy is a bit of an anxious mess when somewhere new (especially when I’m not around), and she was shaking like a leaf when I left. I felt terrible! But she was very interactive and played with their dog so much that she passed out and slept for hours when we got home! So, so happy and delighted with this experience for my little Lucy!”

I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. My job allows me flexibility because I work from home. It will be easy to sit, feed, and walk your dog and be a companion. I went to plant and animal science school, I also did AG mechanics and natural resources. I’ve walked and groomed dogs in my neighborhood since I was 8 years old. I’m comfortable feeding and walking neurological disordered animals since fosters and customers gave me experience and knowledge in this area. I love reptiles and have much knowledge in caring after fish and exotic pets. I love learning new things, and challenging myself with things I have yet to learn. I have a seasonal job, and I love working with animals and caring for fosters when needed, so I’m happy to work with your schedule ! I give my pets the best unprocessed and raw meat food and I follow instructions for the feeding and understand others pets necessities. I love going for hikes and walks or simply giving my pets the attention they deserve. I do overnight stays to keep them company and look after the house. I can be requested to clean houses and keep up with other maintenance needed during stays. If pets get boarded with me, I will keep them separate from my dogs unless they are %100 friendly. I do have a safe pet wireless electronic fence to keep dogs in a safe distance and away from the road.
