2. Kelcie A.
“Kelcie was fantastic from start to finish. We came to meet her and see where our dogs would be staying. She was very easy to communicate with and provided us with updates and truly amazing photos of our dogs. We will definitely reach out if we need her services again in the future! Her home is wonderful and she has a great and safe setup for any pup.”
3. Mary Jo M.
“We reached out to Mary Jo on short notice when our plans for the day changed and she was a lifesaver. Before booking the stay Mary Jo was great with prompt responses and made us feel like even though we were making last minute plans that our dog Stevie would be thoughtfully cared for. Mary Jo accommodated our schedule well for drop off and pickup, even having Stevie ready for pickup so we could get back on the road quickly. Mary Jo welcomed us into her home and let us see that Stevie was getting settled in well. We could tell right away that her son is a true dog lover and we enjoyed watching him get to know Stevie. When we came to pick Stevie up she was so happy and tired that she could barely keep her eyes open in the car. We could tell she had a great day with Mary Jo and her family!”
4. Kim M.
“Kim and her family were amazing to our golden retriever. She was patient and let him get acclimated to her home and her own two very sweet golden doodles. She also sent us update photos to show how he was doing. 1000% would go to her again.”

About: I think everybody has different callings and being around animals and watching them grow happens to be one of mine. All my life I’ve been around animals, my first horse was named Arastar and she lived to be 35. I was raised on a farm and I hope some day to build my own animal sanctuary. Because I work part time (from home) it’s made me have more time to do what I love which is write, pet sit, and go into nature. Before pet sitting a meet and greet is essential to make sure I understand the pets specific needs and properly prepare. I live in a loft with my cat KeyKey Luna. She is present in the home at all times so it’s important your furry companion(s) is kitty friendly.

About: My partner and I LOVE dogs of all kind. We have had our Reggie for 5 years now. Reggie is now 14 years old. We have an unfenced backyard but I will always have the dog on a leash at all times. I will also be bringing the dogs for a walk at least once a day. Dogs are welcome throughout the house. Dogs who stay overnight will be able to sleep on our bed or even on dog beds we have. Your dog will feel completely at home whether it is at my house or yours! I am currently on summer break so I am at home all day everyday. I will be with your dogs all day and will have plenty of time to let your dog out and explore. I will ensure that your dog is getting the necessary care needed whether that is health or safety. I will make sure that your dog is best cared during my visit or the entire time at my house.
9. Chandra B.

10. Jillison S.
About: Hi, I enjoy all ages of dogs and cats. I have had many, many dogs and cats growing up raising them from newborn puppies or kittens all the way into their senior years. I am well experienced in training puppies, playing with active cats/dogs and caring for sick or aged pets as well. I have also volunteered for many rescue organizations, most recently Meriden Humane Society. The joy animals bring me, far surpasses any other career I've had throughout the years. I currently am transitioning into part-time retirement of running my own HVAC company and I would like to start doing what I enjoy more; caring for animals(and plants!). I currently have a very active, under one, golden retriever and a 6 year old golden retriever. We love to go outside and throw the ball, play in the wading pool, or let the dogs play together in the backyard.

About: IG @lauralovesyourdog We love animals! Energetic young humans and 6 year old pug will play with your dog until we collapse! We have a large unfenced yard with lots of sniffing and exploring space. The yard is regularly treated by Tick Ranger (organic and pet-safe tick spraying). Our space for overnight is a large room- crated or uncrated, or are welcome to sleep in the human bed of their choice. Dogs are welcome throughout the first floor during the day. Your dog will feel completely at home at my house or yours! We walk, play and hug. Grooming services unavailable. Unfortunately we can not take pit bulls, pit bull mixes, or border terriers. I am also a caring and experienced cat owner/ caretaker! We have 3 cats of our own (our 17 year old angel Maddy went to the Heaviside Layer June 2021💙) and will care for your cat in your home or ours. Dependable loving care always! And if that wasn’t enough I am also very comfortable feeding/ handling and caring for small reptiles including snakes. We have had our Herman’s tortoise Shelly Clarkson for 2 years and love her to death! Available most days- flexible schedule and I keep my Rover calendar updated. About me: 42 year old single mom, works occasionally as a stage manager and at The Place in Guilford. We hope to care for your furry family soon! *Please note I do have 2 kids (ages 9 and 5). Both kids are very aware and cautious in how to approach new animals but if your dog is not 100% comfortable with kids we are not the sitters for you. Thank you! I build my schedule around my clients. We like to keep a predictable routine for our guests. I am home most of the day most days! We have a partially fenced yard and all guests stay leashed and well supervised while out! Our pug Winston loves to play and snuggle with our guests. My other part- time jobs are seasonal so I am home and available most days November through May. When my seasonal jobs are active I still am able to take 2-3 clients visits a day around them! I am very good with animals and have very very rarely met one that wasn’t interested in being my friend. All of my repeat clients are always very happy to see me! 🥰 I am always cautious and respectful of your pets’ space and yours and always will leave your house cleaner than I found it! I go above and beyond to make sure your pets’ routine is disturbed as little as possible while you are gone and I make sure they are given extra affection (if they want it!) I will not hesitate to obtain emergency care (with your permission) if your pet needs it.

About: I have been surrounded by animals all of my life including birds, snakes, cats and most notably dogs. My first dog was an eccentric Rottweiler that I had for 12 years so I have experience with big dogs with big personalities. I currently am a mommy to a lively 2-year old German Shepard mix named Micky that I’ve had since he was 4 months old so I am also experienced in the puppy phase. We love going outside, walking trails or even cuddling up to a good movie. We can’t wait to meet your dog and treat him like a member of the family! I am currently free weekends with an open availability and most evenings on the weekdays. Please feel free to send me a message to see if I can meet your scheduling needs! I have a friendly dog if your pup likes company. I can also crate your pup if requested and take them to potty as needed!
18. Melissa M.
About: I love the unconditional love fur babies give us! I love to play with and give your pet love while you are away or share our home full of space, hiking trails and play with other fur friends and my older kids! I also have experience with mice, bunnies, hamsters, rats, reptiles including but not limited to snakes, iguanas, bearded dragons, geckos and farm animals such as chickens, goats, sheep, ducks and horses. I can provide basic training, bathing, nail trimming and more! Just ask! Come share our oasis with us! They will be begging to come back! I am currently off for the summer as I work for the school system. I am home all day so have plenty of time to let your pets out or play with your pet in my home. My pups are friendly and love a playmate. I would have 10 dogs if my husband would let me! My children are older and responsible so they also adore animals as well and love to come help play and tire out your pet! (If that’s ok) (ages 10&12) I have a big yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your pet company. I do not have a fenced in yard but very secluded 10acres and always monitor or take hikes with them on leash until I trust that they will stick around. There is always ball catching and fun to be had! If in your home, I will leave it better than before I got there. Your pet will be happy to see me and I will give them love just like my fur babies.
19. Truc D.
“Truc watched our Russell terrier Ozzie for the day when we were in the area on vacation. Ozzie left happy and tired, and had a great time with her lab Calvin. Truc was very responsive and easy to communicate with, took special care to ensure Ozzie adjusted well, and even took him on a special adventure in town. Would highly recommend. Thank you Truc!”
