About: To be honest, when I was a child I had a deadly fear of dogs. That was until my mother forced me to go to exposure therapy (yes she made me go to a club where they sat you with over ten dogs. Here, I fostered a love for them, and learned a lot about them. They need activity and they also need rest. They need a lot of attention but they reciprocate with fierce loyalty and unwavering love. I would love to help a family continue to give their dog the attention it deserves so they can also live their lives! I am a new college graduate looking for a full time remote position. The job market is competitive and I expect to be unemployed for at least a couple months. I have full time availability and will always have weekends. Let me help full time workers right now while I am figuring out life! My anxious dog requires a lot of attention and ensuring comfort. He gets lots of outdoor time and plenty of exercise in the morning, lunch, and night. He is fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food. I work on his tricks with him at least once a day! I also have cared for cats throughout my whole life. Fostering kittens, feeding them, cutting and administering pills for my disordered baby! Additionally brushing my animals, playing with them, and knowing when to give them space. I love my animals and have spent my life ensuring their care!!
“If I could give Kat 100 stars I would. She came in to house sit and watch my mini Aussie for a week and left the place absolutely immaculate. She volunteered to help clean spaces I hadn’t looked at in months, took Nova on plenty of walks and adventures, sent tons of updates and even left some sweet homemade treats! If you’re looking for someone to help out with your furry family member, she goes above and beyond and is an excellent choice!”

“Jessica was very attentive to our 13 yr old dog, making sure he was well fed and got his multiple medications. She kept us updated with videos and photos. He was happy to see us when we got home but I think he also missed Jessica!”

“We are so happy with Kristen as a sitter for our 2 pups! She is experienced, attentive, and professional. Our dogs and house were in perfect form when we got home, and our dogs were not stressed at all. We look forward to using her regularly and having peace of mind when we go away.”

About: I'm who you call when your dog needs to run around and tire themselves out, or when your cat needs to curl up with someone in the sunlight! I grew up taking care of my lovely cockadoo Otis, as well as going on runs with my step-family's energetic black lab and golden retriever. In the years since, I've taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. I love learning every pet's specific needs, schedule, and energy levels. Excited to meet you and your furry friend exactly where you need! I'm currently working remotely as a writer, so I'll have plenty of time for your pup or your kitty. My schedule is usually quite flexible, and unless I'm out of town, I can make last minute calls work! My own dog was a rescue from the streets of New York City, and we worked very hard to slowly build trust with him, to the point he became the most affectionate dog I've seen! So even if your animal is skittish, I will happily mind their boundaries while showing them all the love I can. I also prioritize an animal's safety above all else, and am extremely attentive to what mischief your pet might be getting up to.
“Alea was so great with my 2 pups! She was super communicative in planning and making sure I knew the dogs were in good hands! They can’t wait for another slumber pawty with her!!”

“Mark and Michelle were fantastic with all three pets. We have unique circumstances - a very old cat, a very old dog, and a very young energetic dog. Mark was so good at working with each of them, and is a natural with animals. From a logistics point of view, he was extremely easy to work with. We set up an appointment to meet before the sit so he could see the house and meet the pets. We knew immediately he was a great sitter. He was on time, and communicated well while we were away. Very high recommend.”

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was a kid, having grown up with two dogs and being part of their care from puppyhood through old age. I've looked after both dogs and cats for neighbors and families to whom I've provided childcare, and for the past year, I’ve regularly walked dogs housed at a county animal shelter. This has been such a rewarding activity and has increased my comfort in interacting with animals with a variety of temperaments. I'm an active person, so I’d love to get outdoors and moving as long as your pup is up for it! If necessary, I can bathe your pet and administer oral medications; if instructed may also be comfortable with injectables. I’m so excited to meet a new furry friend! I’m beginning medical school in the fall and am looking to establish some house/pet sitting relationships while my schedule is super flexible this summer! I love taking long walks and would love company from your pup, but I’m also happy to stop by and hang out with your pet in your home if that’s preferred. I’m available to stay overnight in your home if you’re traveling and need longer term help, too. I will be pet sitting in your home and want to fit into your pet's daily life as seamlessly as possible, so I'm happy to do whatever makes them happy! I'm an active person so whether your pet is high or low energy, I can cater to their needs.
“I would highly recommend Kim to care for your pet. We recently left our precious pooch for 2 weeks under Kim’s care. Kim stayed in our home and lovingly cared for our dog. Kim works remotely and was home with her which was important to us. She communicated daily and sent amazing pics which we loved. Our dog was relaxed and playful when we arrived home indicating the loving care she received. Our dog has frequently gone to the guest bedroom looking for Kim! Her care was above and beyond. It is such a good feeling to be able to travel and know your pet is in good hands.”

About: I’ve worked on farms and worked with multiple animal types from dogs to goats. I’m accustomed to schedule planning and checking everything off each day and night. I am open in the afternoons and I work in the early mornings. I am quite flexible as long as I have prior notice. I do work a full time job aswell. I have a very relaxed home as I have my own puppy and she has full ranged of the entire apartment. She is fixed and potty trained.
“Sophia had great communication with me before, during and after her stay. My pup was THRILLED with her and I'm sure that's because she was given love and attention. My instructions for the home were followed perfectly and it was left in pristine condition. I would definitely book with Sophia again!”

“Nikkii was absolutely great. She sent pictures and kept me posted on how they were doing daily. My 2 crazy fur babies loved her and can't wait to see her again! Thank you for taking such great care of them”

Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to provide the care they need. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for both your pet and your home. I treat every home with respect, keep owners updated with messages and photos, and strive to provide dependable care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with a wide variety of species, personalities, ages, and care needs. From energetic puppies (so cute!) to senior pets (so precious!) requiring medication, I understand that every animal is unique and deserves individualized attention, patience, and compassion. My experience includes dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, chickens, ferrets, turtles, frogs, iguanas, ball pythons, Burmese pythons, freshwater aquariums, and saltwater reef systems. Over the years, I've cared for animals with different temperaments, feeding requirements, and daily routines, and I am comfortable following detailed care instructions to ensure consistency while humans are away. I have experience administering medications to dogs and understand the importance of maintaining schedules, monitoring behavior, and recognizing when something may be out of the ordinary. I am also comfortable caring for senior pets who may require additional patience, assistance, or specialized care. As a longtime small business owner on the Connecticut shoreline, I understand the value of trust, communication, and reliability. When caring for your pets, I treat them with the same attention and respect I would expect for my own animals. My goal is to provide peace of mind while you're away through dependable care, regular updates, and genuine affection for the animals entrusted to me. Whether your household includes a single dog, a multi-pet family, exotic animals, backyard chickens, or even aquariums, I am comfortable adapting to different environments and care routines. I know how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for, and I take that responsibility seriously. For me, pet care isn't just about feeding schedules and walks—it's about building trust with each animal, respecting their individual personalities, and helping them feel secure and comfortable until their family returns home. After recently closing a local business that I owned and operated for 15 years, I decided to pursue opportunities that allow me to spend more time doing something I genuinely enjoy—caring for animals. As a result, I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate daytime visits, evening care, weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests when availability allows. I enjoy the opportunity to stay active, help fellow pet owners, and spend time with animals of all kinds. Pet care is not simply a way to fill my schedule; it's something I find rewarding and meaningful. I understand how important it is to find someone dependable to care for your pets, and I strive to provide the same level of care, communication, and reliability that I would want for my own fur, finned and scaled babies. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions before care begins. I understand that consistency helps reduce stress and keeps pets comfortable while their families are away. As a longtime Connecticut shoreline business owner and resident, I understand the trust involved when someone gives you access to their home and entrusts you with the care of a beloved family member. I take that responsibility seriously and strive to provide dependable, professional, and compassionate care at all times. In a client's home, I work to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. I provide fresh food and water, walks or playtime as appropriate, litter box or habitat maintenance, medication administration when needed, and plenty of attention based on your pet's personality and comfort level. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect in my own. I believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos whenever possible to help you feel connected and reassured while you're away. Because of my experience caring for a wide variety of animals—including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, and both freshwater and saltwater aquariums—I understand the importance of observation and recognizing when something may be out of the ordinary. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, activity levels, and overall well-being so that concerns can be addressed promptly if they arise. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, dependable, and low-stress experience for both pets and their people, so you can enjoy your time away with confidence and peace of mind.
