“Emily house-sit our dog Amber for 4 days. I cannot recommend her enough and cannot wait to work with her again. First of all, she was able to stop by earlier in the day than I initially set the sitting for, and let Amber out midday and come back later to start the actual sitting. I hugely appreciated this since I made a mistake in the reservation start time. She was great with photo and text updates. From all the photos I could tell how happy Amber was. Her food and medication schedule was kept the same and she had lots of fun with Emily. And I have to say that the house was left immaculate. She went the extra mile to unload the dishwasher that I accidentally left in full, and took out all the trash. None of which were her responsibility but she truly went above and beyond and we appreciated all of it. We cannot wait to have her take care of Amber agan.”

About: I’ve been a pet and animal owner my entire life. We have 3 young kids who love to play and one energetic 4 year old dog who also loves to play, so your pet would get a lot of play time at this house! I have lots of availability this summer, so reach out to me for specifics. Once fall hits and I’m back at school, I’ll be available for weekends. We have one friendly dog to keep yours company. Our yard is not fenced in, but we take frequent walks throughout the day. Our dog sleeps upstairs in the bedroom with us, but we do have a crate available if needed.

About: Retired police/military K9 handler who has spent a significant time in his professional career enforcing animal cruelty laws. Wide range of experience with all types of dogs and cats. I currently work a full-time job enforcing animal cruelty laws. Nearing retirement in July of 2027 I am available in early morning hours as well as evenings Monday thru Friday and anytime on weekends and holiday's. It is important to know your animals. They tell us when they are happy, sad and ill. Paying attention to the signs they give you is vital to a safe environment. Constant communication between the owner and myself is a pivotal step to ensuring these signs are not overlooked.

About: Hi there! So nice to “meet” you! I am a highly responsible and skilled pet owner and would be grateful to share the love with your pets! I have been pet sitting and farm sitting for over a decade. I’m a lifetime horse girl and am comfortable sitting for any type of animal, including horse, donkey, chameleon, bunny, etc.! I am trained in first-aid and competed nationally in 4H competitions with a focus in animal care. I personally have a special needs cat and a geriatric dog, so custom routines don’t phase me! We have plenty of those in this home - lol! I am a graduate degree holder with an excellent work history. I aim to offer your pet the best care and I come with integrity, responsibility, and love. After a recent career change, I find myself with a far more flexible work schedule! I am currently working in childcare and homecare for one family here in CT. I do not have children of my own, so I do not need to build school drop offs/pick ups into my petsitting schedule. I live in New London but am able to commute! I have reliable transportation of my own, so getting to my destination is no issue whatsoever. I am currently working on obtaining my PhD online during the evenings, so I am available to spend infinite cuddle time in the evenings! Overall I am extremely flexible. Boarding at my home is not an option at this time as I have strict landlords. I have pet/farmsat in various settings. Some owners have had fenced yards and some have lived in cities where walks are mandatory for potty breaks. The setting doesn’t bother me, I can work with the owner on setting a schedule for the pet.

About: I have always had animals since I was a young girl, both cats and dogs. I showed a special interest in them, leading to me attending multiple summer camps for FIDELCO seeing eye dogs. As I got older I began attending conservation summer programs. I have worked on sea turtle conservation efforts in North Carolina. I have also spent a month in Sumatra and Bali, Indonesia contributing to coral reef restoration as well as preserving the local orangutan population. I have watched numerous pets of family friends as well as my own family during vacations. I attended University on the island of Oahu. There I began working at a feline-specialty veterinary office as a vet assistant for a year and a half. Upon moving back to Connecticut in June of 2026 I have begun working at an Urgent Care for pets. I also have two cats, who I consider my children! I work M-F 9am-6pm. About: Hi, My name is Brooke I go by Seven and my entire life has been surrounded by animals, from catching frogs, lizards, feeding the squirrels and always just having that touch even with the animals that don't trust or care for most humans. I have that special something. I started walking the whole neighborhoods dogs when i was 9 years old, i would walk up to 5 at a time. At the age of 13 i started volunteering for an animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. I was the girl growing up all my friends would bring stray or lost animals too. 16 i started working as a vet assistant, at 18 working a 150 dog ranch/doggie daycare and boarding facility to then move on into my early twenties working a place in Seattle called Dogwood Play Park, the first of its kind. It was an indoor outdoor 21 plus play park and daycare. Owners could bring their dogs to play while they had a beer and got to know other dog lovers, I built many beautiful dog... and people friendships there. I have always been told by the owners they that their dogs listens to me better..I say its just cause i am alpha pack leader!! I have massive respect and love for all animals. I worked in Portland Oregon on a farm in 2022 called Trisklee farm where i cared for all the animals on the property as farmer seven, i did weekend tours of the farm and helped run kids summer camp.I am very good with all ages and types of animals. My biggest strength is animal body language, i can read an animals move before they do it. Something i have picked up over my life span over working with animals everyday. I can administer medications and very aware of your pets behaviors to make sure they feel the most comfortable at all times. I owned guinea pigs, giant Flemish Rex rabbit, cats, and just recently lost my best friends Clyde who was a mastiff Doberman this June , he was almost 12. And Alice my English mastiff who was almost 11 back in 2023 . large breeds are my specialty. I just had a new born on July 29th 2026 and have a year and a half year old as well. I am a stay at home mom who misses her pets and want my children to grow up around animals without making the commitment right now to add to the family. So being good around children who are young and learning boundaries is a must so we don’t put your pet or my children in an uncomfortable or dangerous situation. The more notice I receive, the better care I can give, HOWEVER, no matter the notice, all my love is always given as often as agreed upon. I can watch your dogs in your home only as we are currently in a smaller home with animals of our own that need their space. I will spend as little or as much time with your babies as requested.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and other animals since I was a little kid, and for others for about 5 years now. Whether it is training or just hanging out, your pets needs are always met. I work Monday through Friday , 8am - 5pm. I am able to be somewhat mobile during those days, specifically during the lunch hour! Weekends are normally free as well! About: Hi everyone. I am new to Rover as a sitter but I’ve taken care of different types of dog breeds for 5 years! Dogs are considered to be humans best friends and I treat them like they’re mine! I provide comfort and care and help each dog with anything they may need, ranging from love, to energy and any special need care the owner may have! I alter my care depending on each need to each individual dog! I am comfortable around all dogs. While also having a job as an engineer, I try to make time for my animals even if that means leaving work and coming home to make sure they have everything they need! I also have days off that need to be filled with more joy and more animals! With a lot of free time, I can make sure your fur baby is never alone and bored!
