I usually crochet or draw when I care for lower-energy animals, and love playing with those with more energy. I am a no-shoes-in-house kind of person, and can bring separate house shoes if preferred. I am no stranger to cleaning up pet accidents. I keep to the living areas of the home, unless the pets are kept elsewhere, and provide a quiet presence for more introverted or timid animals. I ensure to adhere to the idea of "leave no trace", as though your home is the natural habitat for your pets.

About: I've taken care of aniamls since I was 3, I take of my friends and neighbors animals, to give feed them and walk them and bathe them. I don't work because I live on a small farm and take care of them and all my dogs and birds and cats and I can work with anyone's pets after school. I have a dog fence with a doggy door for in and out and it's all fenced in and I have very friendly dogs that will Play and keep company.

“Emily house-sit our dog Amber for 4 days. I cannot recommend her enough and cannot wait to work with her again. First of all, she was able to stop by earlier in the day than I initially set the sitting for, and let Amber out midday and come back later to start the actual sitting. I hugely appreciated this since I made a mistake in the reservation start time. She was great with photo and text updates. From all the photos I could tell how happy Amber was. Her food and medication schedule was kept the same and she had lots of fun with Emily. And I have to say that the house was left immaculate. She went the extra mile to unload the dishwasher that I accidentally left in full, and took out all the trash. None of which were her responsibility but she truly went above and beyond and we appreciated all of it. We cannot wait to have her take care of Amber agan.”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and have years of experience caring for animals. I truly love being around pets and understand how important it is to find someone dependable to care for them. I currently work fully remote, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive care and companionship for your pet. I am a very active person, so I usually go on a long walk or run in the mornings, which I would bring your dog on. I am a full-time student, so I would be at work during the days, but could come back during lunch if desired to let the dogs out, or leave them for about 8 hours. In the evening I would take them on another long walk or maybe to play at the beach. I am flexible and accommodating to individual needs! I would strictly follow the guidelines given to me by the owners with adding caution where I might see needed. For example I would be sure to never take their dog off leash unless we were in a very secure area and the owner had explicitly told me their dog was okay to be off leash in certain areas. I’m also happy to provide phone numbers of people I have pet sat for previously!

I have lots of availability this summer, so reach out to me for specifics. Once fall hits and I’m back at school, I’ll be available for weekends. We have one friendly dog to keep yours company. Our yard is not fenced in, but we take frequent walks throughout the day. Our dog sleeps upstairs in the bedroom with us, but we do have a crate available if needed.
