House Sitting in Moodus

About: I currently own 3 rescue dogs and have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have a habit of loving what some would call "bad" or "untrainable" dogs. My dog, Ham, frequently lunges and nibbles my face. I am used to being jumped on and it doesn't bother me. Although I try to correct the behavior, I understand some dogs are just goofy. I adopted Toast when he was about 12 weeks old, so I have experience with puppies. My oldest dog is currently 15, so I'm great with senior dogs as well. I have experience walking, playing, boarding and doggy day camp. I hope that I can fit your needs :D I currently am a freelance artist, so I'm home pretty much all the time. I have a flexible schedule and am extremely punctual. I have a great schedule for animal care and love animals :D I have a fenced in yard with 3 dogs living here full time. if you want to board your dog with me or do doggy day camp at my house, they will need to either be a good with with my dogs OR stay with me in my office during the day and be let out individually.

While I was initially nervous with our very first petsitter/housesitter, I ended up ecstatic that we had such a lovely person to play with and care for Cutie and look after our home while we were out of town. We received regular photo and text updates, and I was quickly notified about any questions she might have about Cutie's needs. Liz herself has such a wonderful, friendly, and easy going manner about her as well; I felt immediately comfortable with her in my home and with my dog (who has now adopted Liz as her BFF and already misses her!). House was tidy when we returned and Cutie was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I'll definitely be booking Liz again next time we need to leave Cutie at home alone! “Emily house-sit our dog Amber for 4 days. I cannot recommend her enough and cannot wait to work with her again. First of all, she was able to stop by earlier in the day than I initially set the sitting for, and let Amber out midday and come back later to start the actual sitting. I hugely appreciated this since I made a mistake in the reservation start time. She was great with photo and text updates. From all the photos I could tell how happy Amber was. Her food and medication schedule was kept the same and she had lots of fun with Emily. And I have to say that the house was left immaculate. She went the extra mile to unload the dishwasher that I accidentally left in full, and took out all the trash. None of which were her responsibility but she truly went above and beyond and we appreciated all of it. We cannot wait to have her take care of Amber agan.”

About: To be honest, when I was a child I had a deadly fear of dogs. That was until my mother forced me to go to exposure therapy (yes she made me go to a club where they sat you with over ten dogs. Here, I fostered a love for them, and learned a lot about them. They need activity and they also need rest. They need a lot of attention but they reciprocate with fierce loyalty and unwavering love. I would love to help a family continue to give their dog the attention it deserves so they can also live their lives! I am a new college graduate looking for a full time remote position. The job market is competitive and I expect to be unemployed for at least a couple months. I have full time availability and will always have weekends. Let me help full time workers right now while I am figuring out life! My anxious dog requires a lot of attention and ensuring comfort. He gets lots of outdoor time and plenty of exercise in the morning, lunch, and night. He is fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food. I work on his tricks with him at least once a day! I also have cared for cats throughout my whole life. Fostering kittens, feeding them, cutting and administering pills for my disordered baby! Additionally brushing my animals, playing with them, and knowing when to give them space. I love my animals and have spent my life ensuring their care!!

About: I’ve worked on farms and worked with multiple animal types from dogs to goats. I’m accustomed to schedule planning and checking everything off each day and night. I am open in the afternoons and I work in the early mornings. I am quite flexible as long as I have prior notice. I do work a full time job aswell. I have a very relaxed home as I have my own puppy and she has full ranged of the entire apartment. She is fixed and potty trained.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and truly understand how much pets are family. I currently own both a dog and cat and have experience helping foster dogs of all ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable with routines, medication schedules, high-energy pets, and giving nervous animals extra patience and care. I am currently working as a full time RN but available for morning (before 8:30am) pet care, evening care (after 5:30pm), and flexible times on weekends. Happy to assist with overnight care with frequent drop ins but typically unable to stay overnight as I have fur babies of my own at home waiting for me :) As both a lifelong pet owner and healthcare professional, I value safety, trust, and consistency.
