“Mary has been awesome. She was quick to respond to a last minute need and super flexible. From the first meet and greet she was fantastic with our nervous pup. Our pup quickly warmed up to her and our stress about the daily need for walks was gone. Mary has a great sense for our girl and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!”

“Diana was great with my pup! He sometimes likes to be lazy, but she was able to coax him into a some exercise. She did a great job of keeping me updated of their activity and she sent some great pics! I would definitely recommend!”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and truly love caring for them. I've worked with puppies before, taking them on walks and reinforcing the basic training their families were already working on to help build a strong foundation. I'm patient, dependable, and happy to follow your pet's routine to keep them comfortable and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I'm committed to making them feel safe and loved. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring and reliable hands. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I have a very flexible schedule throughout the summer. I'm available for drop-in visits and walks during the day, as well as early mornings and late evenings to accommodate your pet's routine. While I'm not able to provide overnight stays because I have a cat of my own at home, I'm happy to work with you to find times that best fit your pet's needs. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, a midday check-in, or an evening visit, I'm committed to providing reliable, consistent care. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed by sticking to their normal routine. I follow owners instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any special care your pet requires. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment so they stay happy while their family is away. Although I'm not currently offering pet care in my own home because I have a cat, Bear, I treat every client's home with the same respect and care that I would my own. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while giving you peace of mind that your pet is in good hands.

About: *I look for pet parents on here but I will not make you pay me on here - message for a reference if needed*! I work fully remotely so if you need someone to stay in the home with them I am extremely flexible and able to tend to them. I fostered my love for dogs when my mom brought home a beagle when I was 9 years old. I became fascinated and learned a lot about them. They need activity and they also need rest. They need a lot of attention but they reciprocate with fierce loyalty and unwavering love. I would love to help a family continue to give their dog the attention it deserves so they can also live their lives! I am a new college graduate looking for a full time remote position. The job market is competitive and I expect to be unemployed for at least a couple months. I have full time availability and will always have weekends. Let me help full time workers right now while I am figuring out life! My anxious dog requires a lot of attention and ensuring comfort. He gets lots of outdoor time and plenty of exercise in the morning, lunch, and night. He is fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food. I work on his tricks with him at least once a day! I also have cared for cats throughout my whole life. Fostering kittens, feeding them, cutting and administering pills for my disordered baby! Additionally brushing my animals, playing with them, and knowing when to give them space. I love my animals and have spent my life ensuring their care!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
