“Our son was getting married in upstate NY so we needed a sitter for our dog Kai while we were away. We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. She gave us peace of mind that Kai was well loved and cared for so we were able to enjoy the wedding without any worries. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

“Tyler was great! It was our first time hiring a sitter for our girls and using Rover. Tyler was excellent with communication, and even came to our home twice before our first trip to confirm all of the instructions. Everyday he showed up when he was supposed to and gave a detailed report of how each visit went. He was extremely careful when entering and leaving our home as he was made aware that one of our cats was an escape artist. We were very comfortable having Tyler in our home taking care of our cats and he did a great job! We look forward to our next trip and hiring Tyler to come back. In the past, we've packed up our girls and stress them out to have a family member watch them in their space. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

About: Since I was 5, I have always had pet dogs and was independently caring for them since high school. I have had dogs weighing 6 lbs through 90 lbs, including my current dogs, a rescued pit bull, rescued puggle, and rescued Great Pyrenees mix. I have been caring not only for my own dogs but friends and neighbors dogs as well. I am a teacher on summer break and would love to spend my time playing with pups! About: To be honest, when I was a child I had a deadly fear of dogs. That was until my mother forced me to go to exposure therapy (yes she made me go to a club where they sat you with over ten dogs. Here, I fostered a love for them, and learned a lot about them. They need activity and they also need rest. They need a lot of attention but they reciprocate with fierce loyalty and unwavering love. “This was my German shepherd, Evie's, first overnight stay with Laura, or anyone else for that matter. I was hoping it would go well and happily Evie had a great time running about and playing with three other dogs. Good to know I have a safe place to drop Evie off when I'm away.”
“Our dog Frida just finished her second boarding visit and loved her time with Brit and her family. It’s truly a home away from home for her. We got daily photos and updates. We have an older dog with diabetes and Brit was so helpful in being able to assist her in her feeding/medication requirements. Frida adores Brit, her family, and their dog and we look forward to using their services again moving forward!”

“Mark and his family were absolutely wonderful! This was our first time leaving our pup for the weekend so we were of course worried dog parents, but Mark and his wife Kate put us at ease instantly. They took time to introduce our dog Reggie to their dogs to make sure everybody got along, and clearly care about the well being of not only their dogs but the dogs they board. Mark and Kate sent updates throughout the weekend along with great photos of our dog Reggie having the absolute BEST dog weekend. He slept for two days straight after we picked him up, he had so much fun! Reggie already misses his new best dog friends, and we would 10/10 leave him with them again. Thanks to Mark and Kate for giving us peace of mind and for giving our Reggie the best weekend with their Reggie!”
