And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs through every stage, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable with dogs with a wide range of personalities, routines, and care needs, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and senior care. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to follow the routine that works best for yours. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved and give you peace of mind while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your dog(s) plenty of attention and keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home, staying in yours, stopping by for a visit, or taking them for a walk, I’ll do my best to follow the schedule they’re already comfortable with. I’m available for weekday and weekend care and can often accommodate morning, daytime, and evening needs. For boarding and house sitting, I’ll make sure we discuss your dog’s normal routine ahead of time — including meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, bedtime, and any special needs, so their days feel as familiar as possible while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. Before caring for a new dog, I like to learn as much as I can about their personality, routine, health needs, temperament, and any behaviors or situations I should be aware of. I’m also happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand so both you and your dog can feel comfortable. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication, more frequent potty breaks, or extra attention. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your dog’s environment safe and secure, and never force an interaction or activity they aren’t comfortable with. When your dog is staying with me, I want them to feel like they’re at home, not at a kennel. I also know how reassuring it is to see that your dog is happy while you’re away. I’ll stay in touch with regular updates and photos, and I’ll always reach out if I have a question or notice anything unusual. My goal is simple: you should feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention.
