“I had a family wedding to go to and wanted to find a safe and comfortable place to leave Winston, my young dorgi (half dachshund, half corgi) who had never been away from me since I was lucky enough to get him. Laura and her family turned out to be the perfect people and place. With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

About: I’ve been a pet and animal owner my entire life. We have 3 young kids who love to play and one energetic 4 year old dog who also loves to play, so your pet would get a lot of play time at this house! I have lots of availability this summer, so reach out to me for specifics. Once fall hits and I’m back at school, I’ll be available for weekends. We have one friendly dog to keep yours company. Our yard is not fenced in, but we take frequent walks throughout the day. Our dog sleeps upstairs in the bedroom with us, but we do have a crate available if needed.

About: I have over 150 years of animal care with my past pets. My prior home was a farm where I cared for a multitude of animals. All of my past pets were long-lived and very well cared for. Having two to three dogs at a time over the years afforded them time to play together while I worked. Now that I am retired and no longer have animals, I hope to offer my skills to those who need a good, responsible sitter for their pets. Caring for your pet fills the void of not having animals anymore. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac road with an ample acre yard to play. I'm happy to support any training efforts, I am GoodPup training certified. I love to play outside. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. About: Having cared for 13 dogs and 4 cats (yes, we keep count), we've seen it all. Daily exercise and even bathing is quite familiar to us. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. About: I am a farrier (horseshoer) I’ve had rescue dogs all my life - I have chickens (pet) pigs cats and right now a 2 year old Airedale terrier who is amazing with other animals - my experience with horses has taught me so much about animal behavior and training my pups-I also have useful tips on training puppies So I’ve been a farrier for over 20 years now - I gave up 2/3 of my out of state travel to be able to be more involved with my children and family life - so I’m staying more local which gives me free time - I can be very attentive with my schedule to letting dogs out or play dates or watching them - my Airedale is very good with other dogs I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do live in the woods - my pets live a great life and like I said my family and I give a lot of attention

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was born with my first Golden Retriever “Missy”. My family has had a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats, to hamsters and bunnies, all the way to horses. I am often called on by my fiends to pet sit as I am known as the friend with a surplus of pets. About: I have been a professional dog walker and cat sitter for 8 years! In this time I have walked countless dogs ranging from Corgis to Great Danes. I love animals and I have 5 cats myself; one of which I got at 3 weeks old and needed to raise and bottle feed myself. My full time job is as an Architect/Civil engineer. Because of this, I work from home most days and set my own schedule. This gives me plenty of flexibility to set when I work around taking care of animals.
