“Thank you for taking great care of my two dogs!”

Laura G.

“Laura is a great cat sitter. She was very responsive to the various quirks of caring for Mimi and Smoochie and extremely caring, making sure they ate even if she had to hunt them down. I have full confidence in her and would use her again without hesitantcy.”

Casey H.

“Casey was great! Very communicative and thorough. Lexi made a new friend and Louie is warming up quicker than he has before. Will be using Casey again!”

Rachel G.
“We love our 3 dogs like children and wouldn’t trust them with just anyone. Rachel is a true animal lover who is patient and enjoys taking care of and spending time with our dogs. Our older dog can be quite finicky about the weather, his food and most things in general, but Rachel knows how to meet his needs and keep him happy. Our middle dog and puppy bring their own uniqueness and there is never any concern that they will not be handled with the same love and affection that we give them while they are in her care. Whether just out for a long walk when I have a day full of conference calls or a week away, Rachel is our go to! She’s reliable, responsible, friendly, and knows how to manage dogs with varying personalities and temperaments.”

Sophia P.

“Sophia was very lovely and our cat George immediately liked them as soon as they walked in the door. We were updated with pictures of them cuddling together and it was noted when he used the litter box and drank water which put our mind at ease. We will definitely book with Sophia again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents. I work in Hartford on a hybrid schedule so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

Kathryn N.
“Kathryn N has that intuitive love for animals that dogs sense. We have a rambunctious Australian Sheppard and he is relaxed and calm around Kathryn, rolls over for a belly scratch when he sees her and listens to her when on walks. He is a happy dog when with her!”

About: I grew up with a shi tzu for the first 17 years of my life and had consistent experience caring for him by walking him, playing with him, feeding him, and making sure he is happy. I have grown up with cats my entire life and have plenty of experience working with multiple cats at one time. I try my best to make all animals feel safe and comfortable. :) I work full time from 8:00-4:30, however I am available to assist with pet care after work and on weekends. I can help with house sitting, dog walking, and pet sitting. When I care for pets in your home I am sure to keep a cautious, yet calming tone. I keep your pets company and am respecting of the space they are willing to share with me. I understand that comfort level varies for each animal and am willing to make adjustments based on each pet's needs. I will be sure to give them lots of love and cuddles if they are open to that as well!!

Julie G.
“Hi we have known Julie for about 10 years. During which time we worked at Pookie’s and /volunteered together for several rescues. She was pet sitting/walking for several of my friends. Then I needed a help, I was I’ll ask to take another assignment and could not walk my dogs. (2) not only did she come and walk the dogs but also feed them send text, and photos! There were a few times I had last minute needs and she spend the night when I asked in advance. I meet her dogs also very nice 😊 I would recommend Julie Gray to any pet related business. She knows nutrition and what exercise each breed or mutt needs! We miss her here in Florida! Good Luck!”

Amanda W.

“Amanda is organized, prompt and professional. She dropped in to take care of Piper at dinner time, followed all instructions and did a great job!”

Alexandra J.
“Alexandra is a very loving individual who cares about all animals she comes in contact with. Growing up we had dogs and she loved them more than anything else. She is very patient and caring and always puts the animals first. I know she will do a great job taking care of any animal she is asked to caregive for. ”

Darcy A.

“Darcy is excellent. Very reliable, and she took the time to spend some time with Happy (the cat), who was missing her family. I’d highly recommend!”

Ellie R.

“Ellie was great, very thankful for how she cared for Maple!”

About: Hello! I’ve always been around animals my whole life and have 2 dogs of my own currently. Georgia is a 9 year old boxer-pit mix and Nero is a 7 year old husky/ Doberman/ lab mix. I have experience with pet injuries, health complications, aggressions and administering medications. I work in the Newington school district and have time off when I’m available to help with drop ins, dog walking, feeding and medications. I can also collect mail and help with odds and ends when owners are away! I wouldn’t be able to bring animals into my home, due to one of my dogs having aggression towards other animals. However, I am available to stay in your home overnights.

Kelli C.
“Kelli has been amazing with my pets! I have a miniature dachshund who has back problems and dietary restrictions, as well as three cats. She has been incredibly caring towards my animals, handles their needs very well, and treats them like her own! She's always been on time and I've never had a better sitter for my pets.”

Gabrielle F.
“Gabrielle possesses a genuine love of pets-in reality, more so than anyone I know. Her level of care and concern for the well-being of pets goes far beyond simply making sure they are fed and walked. The depth of her understanding of pets extends well into the realms of nutritional health and emotional wellness, on a level equal to (or exceeding) that which you would expect from the most sought-after caregivers (of animals or people for that matter!)”

Brooke D.

“Brooke did a great job visiting our dog, Truth! This was our first time booking someone on Rover. We found Brooke last minute, and she did a great job answering all of our questions and communicated with us very quickly. We were super relieved and would definitely recommend and rebook with Brooke!”

Aria W.

“Aria was absolutely wonderful!! Our cat Milo is usually very shy at first, but not with her! He warmed right up to her the minute he met her! Aria was very accommodating and saw Milo with very short notice. We will definitely be rebooking in the future :) we can’t thank her enough! If we could give 10 stars we would!”

Chandra B.

“We recently used Chandra for our new puppy and found her to be very nice and professional. Its nice to have found a great pet sitter so close to us.”

Neph W.
“I've known Neph for more than a decade and she has always been a dependable person when it came to watching my dogs while I was away on business. She has a great personality and is a genuine animal lover with a great rapport with pets. In the past I have referred her to other friends and family whenever they needed pets to be taken care of while they were away.”
