Laura G.

“Laura is a great cat sitter. She was very responsive to the various quirks of caring for Mimi and Smoochie and extremely caring, making sure they ate even if she had to hunt them down. I have full confidence in her and would use her again without hesitantcy.”

Amanda W.

“Amanda is organized, prompt and professional. She dropped in to take care of Piper at dinner time, followed all instructions and did a great job!”

Kathryn N.
“Kathryn is my sister and I frequently leave my ferret, Milo, in her care. Milo has a heart condition and therefore requires medication every 24 hours. Kathryn is always on top of this and ensures Milo gets her meds every night at the regular time as well as ensuring she is fed and has fresh water. I know that when Milo is in my sister's care, she is loved, entertained, and safe. There are few people I would trust to take care of my baby, but Kathryn is one of them. She's reliable, trustworthy, and loves all animals. I remember a time she fed an injured vulture in our neighborhood every day until animal control could come to help it. She also has multiple bird feeders and baths she tends to every day. She's the best.”

About: I grew up with a shi tzu for the first 17 years of my life and had consistent experience caring for him by walking him, playing with him, feeding him, and making sure he is happy. I have grown up with cats my entire life and have plenty of experience working with multiple cats at one time. I try my best to make all animals feel safe and comfortable. :) I work full time from 8:00-4:30, however I am available to assist with pet care after work and on weekends. I can help with house sitting, dog walking, and pet sitting. When I care for pets in your home I am sure to keep a cautious, yet calming tone. I keep your pets company and am respecting of the space they are willing to share with me. I understand that comfort level varies for each animal and am willing to make adjustments based on each pet's needs. I will be sure to give them lots of love and cuddles if they are open to that as well!!

“Brooke did a great job visiting our dog, Truth! This was our first time booking someone on Rover. We found Brooke last minute, and she did a great job answering all of our questions and communicated with us very quickly. We were super relieved and would definitely recommend and rebook with Brooke!”

Aria was very accommodating and saw Milo with very short notice. We will definitely be rebooking in the future :) we can’t thank her enough! If we could give 10 stars we would!”

About: Hello! I’ve always been around animals my whole life and have 2 dogs of my own currently. Georgia is a 9 year old boxer-pit mix and Nero is a 7 year old husky/ Doberman/ lab mix. I have experience with pet injuries, health complications, aggressions and administering medications. I work in the Newington school district and have time off when I’m available to help with drop ins, dog walking, feeding and medications. I can also collect mail and help with odds and ends when owners are away! I wouldn’t be able to bring animals into my home, due to one of my dogs having aggression towards other animals. However, I am available to stay in your home overnights.

Ellie R.

“Ellie was great, very thankful for how she cared for Maple!”

Samantha S.

“We really like Sam! She communicates well, was very responsive and relates to animals. We know our fur baby is in good hands with Sam when we can't be there.”

Cayton M.

“Cayton was so great with my pup, Kala! We just moved to the area and have been looking for a dog walker. We booked a drop-in appt for Sat evening and Sun morning and Cayton made a trip out prior to the drop-ins to meet us and Kala, which was something we very much appreciated! Kala has always been a good judge of character and she loved Cayton, so we knew she was in good hands. Cayton gave us detailed updates with pictures for both drop-ins, which was great. Kala was very well taken care of and we plan on using Cayton in the future.”

Terry S.

“Terry is amazing! So accommodating, thorough, and took excellent care of our baby! We had a relaxing day away knowing our girl was in good hands while we were gone. We’ll be using Terry’s services again.”

Tina B.

“Tina was very easy to book/work with since this was my first time using Rover. She is extremely pleasant and is eager to give the dog what she needs. We have booked a long term (19) days with her and I am confident my dog will be happy with her.”

Sophia P.

“Sophia was available at short notice while I went out of town. She communicated well and provided comfort to Lola and Cappy during my absence. I was at ease knowing that they were in good hands. Thanks Sophia!”

Laura A.
“My little dog Bella, is much older now. Her face is white as a ghost. Laura understood that my older dog has special requirements like a nice slow walk and light play-time.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents. I work in Hartford on a hybrid schedule so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

Karinna B.

“Karin did an excellent job! Her reports were thorough and really painted a picture of how the visit went. I will be using her again. Highly recommend!!”

Sara G.
“Sara was absolutely fantastic with my Great Dane easy to get in touch with and very willing to work with you if needed minor changes would suggest her to anyone in the area”
