“It was the 1st time that our adopted cat Maizey,who is skittish, was being left without her a fellow adoptee. Our male Blue was boarded at the vet due to surgery recovery. We thought the double "firsts" might be too much but Maizey took to her right away. Raquel sent pictures of a very happy cat, detailed updates and we felt totally relaxed and knew that the cat was in good hands. Thank you Raquel!”

About: I’ve had 2 dogs and a cat for the past 10+ years who I have taken care as well as neighbors and friends animals. I have experience feeding, walking, and bathing. I am currently working part time and have a lot of free time. I am free all day and nights Friday- Sunday and varying hours Monday-Thursday. I have housesit, babysit, and dog-sit in peoples homes and will follow any perimeters you may have. I am also comfortable with crates and whatever else may be required in your home.

“I have known Sofia for about 17 years, and in that time, she has always had a deep love for dogs. In September of 2017, we were presented with an opportunity to adopt a puppy in need, that had been abandoned on the side of the road with its litter mates and mother. The puppies were initially rescued by a mutual friend and were kept safe until they were old enough to be adopted. Sofia and I both jumped on the chance to rescue these pups and give them the homes they deserved. I took a pup who I named Larry, and Sofia brought home Bruno. Bruno is a great dog. Sofia worked with Bruno diligently in the first few months of adopting him. She was firm with him, but also patient and kind. I know without a doubt in my mind that Sofia would care for your pet the exact same way she cares for her baby Bruno. She loves him endlessly and is such a great dog mom to him. Sofia is one of the most responsible and hard working people I know. She has an effective communication style, and will make sure all your dog’s needs are met while you are away.
