“Laura provided such great care for our pets (two pups and a cat). She was kind, loving, and really engaged with them (petting, playing fetch, etc.). I highly recommend her and will definitely be utilizing her services again!!!”

“Raquel was a fantastic cat sitter! She spent time each visit getting to know our shy cat and by the end of the week they were fast friends. Raquel provided detailed updates after each visit accompanied with tens of pictures and a few videos. We will definitely use Raquel again!”

“Vanessa did a fantastic job as I hired her last minute due to traveling for work. Awesome communication start to finish. I look forward to hiring her again. Thank you!”

“Jan and Jamie were great during their drop-ins with our cat and we're respectful to my home during the visit. Would highly recommend their services and reach out again in the future.”
About: I have taken care of animals for 15 years and I am very passionate about making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I grew up with both cats and dogs and so I am able to take care of both. From pugs, mastiffs, labradors, to cats, I can do it all. I give medication, deep-clean litter boxes, play with you pets and overall make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time employee that works nights (5p-2a), and so I have a lot of free time during the day to take care of your pet. I always get up early to make sure I’m taking care of me and my cat’s needs and am able to extend that care to your animals as well. When I do a drop-in visit, I always do a sweep around the main areas of the house to ensure that everything is in order. For dogs, my main priority is to take them out, check their water bowl and play with them to make sure they have the care they need for the day. For cats, I will always check their litter boxes to see if it needs any scooping, I will also check their food and water bowls and fill them up if needed. Like dogs, I will respect their boundaries and play with them to ensure they’re comfortable.
“This is the 2nd time Le'Andra took care of my cat Gabby while I was out of town She did a great job! I plan to request Le'Andra again in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”
“Olivia did great with my pets. She also went above and beyond to help when there was an issues getting in to my place. Very good and trusted sitter. Will definitely recommend to friends and use again myself.”

“Our pups looked so happy in the pictures which is such a good feeling when I can’t be there to know they are in great hands! I came home a few hours after Marissa left and the dogs were happy as can be and fed.”

“Jill did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She was very professional, attentive to any requests as well as the special needs of my youngest and treated my kiddos with love and care every day, including the days when the elevator gave out in my apartment complex. I was initially concerned about a sitter because my eldest is very skittish around strangers due to previous bad experiences with others, but I was surprised to see that she warmed up to Jill right away. 10/10. If ever I need to have a sitter for my kiddos again, I'll be calling Jill.”

About: I grew up with pugs, and for the past 17 years I have had three foster fail pitbulls and multiple fosters that have gone on to loving homes. I have rescued three Mama pitbulls from terrible breeding situations, and their rehabilitation was a testament to my love. I have taken on personally multiple boarding dogs through friends reccomendations, and now that I have an empty nest, I am ready to share my home with your loved ones. I currently work only part time, so I will be here to spend a lot of time in the home caring for my boarding pets. My household has no fenced in yard, but I can give multiple walks per day, as I am a very active person. There are multiple adults and children in the home, so your fur babies will be getting A LOT of love. :) I live in a safe neighborhood and a safe neighborhood in Wethersfield, and will be home frequently to provide a high level of care for your beloved pet.
About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.
About: Hello My name is Jennifer , I am a freelancer and animal lover, who may cry after watching Dodo dog videos. My husband Inam is writer/comedian who enjoys pups more than his jokes. We are dog parents to two smaller pups Bob Marley and Bruce Springsteen. Don't worry they are very loving of other dogs. We have a house with a fenced backyard, with plenty of open space for the pups to play and socialize. We also volunteer for Badass Brooklyn and am lucky to have a car to help their dogs to and from medical appointments. We can do the same for you if you need help with transporting the dog and you dont have time to either drop the pup off my place, and/or We can get to your place much quicker then it normally takes to train it there. We can't imagine a life without dogs; we really don't deserve them. But you deserve the best care and fun for your pup. We am very flexible with my schedule, feel free to reach out with any other questions. Jennifer & Inam We both work from home and are home bodies and we also enjoy walking Our pups in our neighborhood. But if it’s ugly weather, we enjoy a good blanket and cuddle with our boys. We have a fenced backyard and our neighborhood is 2 to 3 blocks away from a street with car traffic. But we are very careful to ensure that the pups cannot bust through doors by putting gates and door locks to prevent any flight risk.
About: I grew up with a dog and now have adorable and most loving rescued Beagle of my own. I trained him to understand common commands. I’m happy to visit your fur baby to play or keep him/her company and take them for walks during lunch time or in the evenings while you are at work or away on weekends. I’m offering play dates and walks for your pooch. I am reliable and flexible. I have a friendly Beagle who loves to dig and chaise squirrels.
“I feel so fortunate to have found Griffin on the Rover website. First time I have ever had to use someone to watch any of my dogs in 36 years, so it was a huge decision that I did not take lightly. From the pre-visit I knew he would be great. Griffin took care of Willow like she was his own. He was so caring & compassionate & knew what she needed and when she needed it. I really feel he went way above and beyond my wishes for her well-being, being a senior dog of 14.10 yrs. She ate wonderfully and took her meds orally for him without any issues, which meant she was happy, strong and healthy while we were away for the week. We could not be more pleased with Griffin’s extraordinary care and commitment to our little Willow. We will not hesitate to ask specifically for him in the future, if the need ever arises again. Thank you Rover, for including Griffin on your staff.”

South End pet parents share their Rover experiences
Huge thanks to Jill! She watched the cats for us back in May for a last minute Mother’s Day trip after our regular sitter moved. Then she was able to accommodate us again when we had to last minute fly to Europe, even meeting with my mom to get keys. Our girls have warmed up to her very quickly and we will continue to book as long as she is available :)

Matt and Mary Beth dropped in on Ipo several times over the course of three days while we had long days out of the house. From the initial meet and greet Ipo loved them and we trusted them to take good care of him. They were so attentive and asked all the right questions. After each visit they sent us an update and plenty of pictures of Ipo basking in their attention. Every night when we got home we could tell that he had been taken great care of. He even ate dinner for them no problem, which is sometimes a struggle. We’re over the moon with how well it went and we will definitely be using Matt & Mary Beth in the future!!

We absolutely loved Jersey! She was incredibly sweet, took her time with Paisley and followed all of our notes perfectly. It was clear right away how much care and attention she puts into what she does. Paisley adored her which meant so much to me and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such great hands. I’m so thankful we found Jersey and will definitely be using her again!
