About: I have been dog sitting for friends, family, and coworkers for years, but have been doing it more frequently and seriously the past two years. People in my life have relied on me to walk, feed, groom, and even take their pets for swims! I have experience that ranges from taking a senior dog outside once a day to staying at a client's house for two weeks taking care of their highly energetic golden retriever. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about my experience at your time of booking! :) I am currently working part-time, and will not be working in August, so I have plenty of time to play with and walk your pup! I also have the ability to work remotely, so if your pup likes to hangout all day I can make that work as well! I live in an apartment with no yard, so I take my dog for frequent walks to Elizabeth Park in Hartford. These walks generally last 30-60 minutes and are taken twice a day, with one short walk (15 minutes around the block) in the middle of the day. When house sitting/caring for a dog at a client's home, I like to have a meeting prior to the days of service to go over how my client would like their pet cared for in their own home.

Alexis S.

“We lost our sitter last minute, but Alexis was available to stop in and check on our furry children. Katie LOVED Alexis, and everything turned out great! Super friendly, responsive, and wonderful! Thank you so much!!”

Elizabeth S.
“Elizabeth was great! Our furkids loved her and she loved them! She gave them plenty of attention and followed all of the instructions left for her and sent a ton of great pictures which made us feel very comfortable having left them in her care! I hesitate to give such a good review because I don’t want everyone to book her up and make her too busy for us - but she was great!”

Jill R.

“We used Jill to drop in on our sweet marshmallow of a dog, she came and met our boy and then did a drop in visit for us on very short notice and she did a fantastic job. Our boy can be shy and need some coaxing to get out the door with a stranger or new person.. He was even more shy with her for some reason but she handled it like a professional kept me in the loop and overcame his shyness with her own crestive thinking and got him out the door! He was completely fine and unphased when we arrived home later so I know she did just fine... I highly recommend Jill...”

Jane P.

“Jane is amazing. She treated my home like her own, and was very kind to me and my cat and left detailed cards about what they did when I was away.”

Joanna J.

“I had a day trip into the city and needed someone to stop by my house to take the dogs out and be with them for a short period of time. Thankfully Joanna was able to help out and allowed me to be gone for most of the day. Nice to have someone who is responsible and can be trusted. Thanks again Joanna!”

Elena G.

“The best! She sent me constant updates, both pictures and descriptions and left my house spotless! (she even closed my garage door when i forgot to in the morning) Personable, friendly, and truly a dog lover.”

“Elena did a great job taking care of my kittens. She not only fed them, cleaned their litter, but also spent time playing w them. She made them happy kittens while I was away for a week.”

Anna H.
“Anna is very kind and gives lots of love to our pets when she's with them. Anna takes the time to play with them and give them lots of attention. She is a true animal lover. We have 3 dogs and she can manage them all including feeding and walking. I'd definitely recommend Anna as a dog sitter.”

About: I volunteer at a local shelter so I know how to make dogs feel special and loved! I’ll make sure your dog gets out for a walk or has enough play time to get their energy out! I work in the mornings so I am home by noon most days, and have the ability to take the dog out in the middle of the day when other people are still at work. I can accommodate your needs, whether it be to take them out for a long walk or give them play time and snuggles. My schedule is flexible to spend as little or as long time as they may need.

Anastasia P.

“Anastasia was responsive, easy to communicate with, and did a great job taking care of our dog”

Samantha S.

“Samantha was truly amazing. It had been our first time away in many years, as we don’t like bringing our bulldogs to kennels. When Samantha came to meet our pets they loved her immediately, it was obvious her love for animals. She was always punctual, had great communication and sent pics to us daily. We were able to actually enjoy our cruise while knowing our animals were given the best care. Samantha, thank you so much for helping me and for being so awesome. I look forward to having you watch them again.”

Katie B.

“Katie was absolutely great with my dog, Kaci. When she first met Kaci, I could tell there was a real connection. She was extremely responsive and followed all my instructions to the letter. She obviously loves what she does and Kaci and I will use her every time I travel.”

Jonas R.

“This was my first time using rover for my dogs. Jonas was a great fit for my large dogs. He communicated constantly, even rearranging his schedule when I was worried about the dogs during the heavy rains. Jonas went above and beyond, even cleaning up my fenced in backyard before we arrived back from our trip. Definitely recommend Jonas.”

Brittany W.

“We needed a last minute drop-in visit and Brittany was very quick to respond and we met via video for a little walk-through of where she could find our pup and what to do. She was very accommodating to our needs on super short notice and sent pictures promptly after hanging out with our sweet Tico for half an hour. She even brought in some packages that were delivered. We will absolutely contact her again next time we need some puppy help!”
