About: I’ve had several dogs and cats to take care of since I was 5 years old. I have always loved animals and wanted to work with them in some way, so this is my way to do just that. I currently have a cat and I’m always spending time with my family’s cat and dog. I would love to care for other pets as often as I can. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 10 years old, and I learned early on that pets are truly part of the family. Growing up, my mom regularly opened our home for dog sitting, and I’ve been helping care for pets alongside her for over five years. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving dogs the attention and companionship they need to feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like they’re my own pets. Pet care fits well into my routine because I’m open and flexible with making time for the animals I care for. I currently work part time, which gives me availability to schedule walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and quality time with pets throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals, so I’m happy to adjust my routine to make sure they feel cared for, comfortable, and not alone while their owners are away. I care for every pet like they’re part of the family because that’s how I’ve always treated my own dogs. My pets are truly my babies, and I love spending time with them, whether that’s playing, relaxing together, or just keeping them company. Now that my dogs are seniors, they enjoy lounging in the sun, relaxing around the house, and spending time with their people and companions. When dogs stay in our home for boarding, we treat them like they’re our own pets. They get lots of attention, love, companionship, walks, and time to relax and feel comfortable. They spend time with our dogs, lounge around together, and are never made to feel alone. We create a calm, loving environment where pets can feel safe and at home — many even sleep on our beds because we want them to feel as comfortable and cared for as possible while their owners are away.

About: At home I've been taking care of Ramsey, my small, high-energy, dog for almost 9 years. In these 9 years I've gained a larger a sense of responsibility and my love for animals has grown tremendously. I know how to communicate with dogs and read dog body language in order to cater to their needs and give them best care. As a recent graduate, I have more flexibility in my schedule, I can dedicate ample time to caring for my pets. This includes feeding, grooming, walking, and spending quality time with them to ensure their well-being and happiness. Engaging in activities like playing, training, and companionship not only enriches their lives but also brings a sense of purpose to my day. While job hunting, I find solace and a sense of responsibility in taking care of my pets, creating a positive and fulfilling routine amidst my current situation. At home I make sure my dog cannot access anything that can harm him. I close doors to the bathroom so he can’t access the trash can and I put gates up around the house to areas he can’t be in. During walks I am very careful and aware of my surroundings. If I walk at night, I walk in a well lit area with a few friends.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up. I have experience both taking care of dogs and cats of all ages. Since October 2025 I have been a puppy nanny for the cutest Wheaton as well as watching his senior siblings. In this position I was responsible for training, sitting, and walking the puppy and have recently ended this position due to moving to West Hartford to attend graduate school at UHart. I have also gained experience cat sitting for a coworker when she is away on vacation. I am currently starting my first summer semester at the University of Hartford so I am looking for opportunities mainly on the weekends but I am also available most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays later in the day.
