As an elementary school teacher, my days are usually built around structure, consistency, and showing up reliably—and I bring that same mindset to pet care. During the summer, my schedule opens up significantly, which allows me to dedicate more time and flexibility to caring for pets in my community. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine right now. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended care throughout the week, and I enjoy building my day around making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and consistency they need. It’s something I genuinely enjoy doing during my time off, and it’s been a great way to stay active and connected while doing work I care about. I always tailor my care based on each pet’s individual needs and the owner’s instructions. I know every pet has their own routine, preferences, and personality, so I make it a priority to follow directions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, or specific behaviors to watch for. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as consistent and familiar as possible so pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. In my home, I create a calm, safe space and adjust based on the pet’s energy level and needs—whether that means lots of playtime or a quieter, more relaxed setting. Communication is really important to me, so I make sure to keep owners updated and reach out if anything seems off. My goal is always to provide care that feels seamless and gives both pets and owners peace of mind.

About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.

About: I have taken care of animals for 15 years and I am very passionate about making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I grew up with both cats and dogs and so I am able to take care of both. From pugs, mastiffs, labradors, to cats, I can do it all. I give medication, deep-clean litter boxes, play with you pets and overall make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time employee that works nights (5p-2a), and so I have a lot of free time during the day to take care of your pet. I always get up early to make sure I’m taking care of me and my cat’s needs and am able to extend that care to your animals as well. When I do a drop-in visit, I always do a sweep around the main areas of the house to ensure that everything is in order. For dogs, my main priority is to take them out, check their water bowl and play with them to make sure they have the care they need for the day. For cats, I will always check their litter boxes to see if it needs any scooping, I will also check their food and water bowls and fill them up if needed. Like dogs, I will respect their boundaries and play with them to ensure they’re comfortable.
