“Raquel is the best sitter! She keeps me up to date with detailed check in cards and lots of pics. I know my kitty is well cared for while I’m away. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: Being raised with dogs, cats, and other various kinds of animals since I was 6 years old, I’m not a stranger to small (or even big!) feet following me around the house. From love and snuggles after a long day, to laughing at zoomie episodes, my family has built our lives around our animals. And I would love to add your pet into my happy story. Rest assured, you can leave your fur-baby with me for peace of mind, and can expect them to be loved, cared for, snuggled, and protected as you would do. I have experience with energetic, senior, and pups with allergies and/or meds. I primarily work part time away from home mid-week in the evenings, but work from home the rest of the time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to being home for your baby. I am an avid communicator and will be making sure I follow all necessary instructions left by you (feeding needs, medical needs, etc.). If I’m not sure on something, I’ll always communicate to make sure to provide the best service to your and your baby.
“Yadira was amazing! Went above and beyond for me even though my booking ended up with sudden changes. Super flexible and understanding. Took great care of my cat too. I definitely had peace of mind knowing that my girl was in good hands”

“Jillian kept us in the loop each day that she was there. Followed our instructions thoroughly, and even included pictures and update notes. She was also kind enough to drop by to grab the keys. We came back to happy cat!”

About: I have taken care of animals for 15 years and I am very passionate about making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I grew up with both cats and dogs and so I am able to take care of both. From pugs, mastiffs, labradors, to cats, I can do it all. I give medication, deep-clean litter boxes, play with you pets and overall make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time employee that works nights (5p-2a), and so I have a lot of free time during the day to take care of your pet. I always get up early to make sure I’m taking care of me and my cat’s needs and am able to extend that care to your animals as well. When I do a drop-in visit, I always do a sweep around the main areas of the house to ensure that everything is in order. For dogs, my main priority is to take them out, check their water bowl and play with them to make sure they have the care they need for the day. For cats, I will always check their litter boxes to see if it needs any scooping, I will also check their food and water bowls and fill them up if needed. Like dogs, I will respect their boundaries and play with them to ensure they’re comfortable.
About: Hey! I have taken care of animals of all kinds since I was a kid. Since then I have taken care of various animals both exotic and domestic (and some livestock too). Some of my own pets include a dog, cats, parrots, lizards, snakes, a horse, and a tortoise. Because of this I have a lot of experience with the different needs for animals especially animals who are seniors and may need oral medications (as my own animals need this care). For example with senior pets I would pay close attention to their health and mobility issues, administering medication, and providing gentle exercise. In addition to these specialized skills, I am also highly reliable and communicative, keeping pet owners updated with daily reports and photos of their furry friends. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I always strive to provide the highest level of care possible. I am very flexible and would be happy to spend some time with your pets. This can help ensure that your pet's needs are met, even when you're not available. For my clients I would offer the same care as I do for my animals. This would include regular exercise and playtime are essential to maintain a pet's physical and mental health. Set aside time each for walks, runs, or other forms of exercise, as well as playtime with toys or interactive games. Additionally regular grooming and cleaning are necessary for maintaining a pet's health and well-being. This includes bathing, brushing, and nail trimming, as well as cleaning up after the pet's messes. Lastly I would keep a watchful eye on your pet's health, monitoring for any signs of illness or injury.
“Vanessa was fantastic with my 90lb pitbull. I was able to communicate clearly with her and she was very prompt with addressing any issues. I’m sure my pup will love to see her again. I will absolutely use her services in the future. Thank you, Vanessa.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve helped care for neighbors’ pets over the years and have had my own dogs for the past three years, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your pets like family. I take time to get to know each pet’s unique personality and routine, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and safe while you’re away. Whether it’s a long walk, extra playtime, or quiet cuddles, I adjust to what makes each pet happiest. I’m attentive, patient, and reliable—and I always treat every animal with the same care and affection I give my own. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but I dedicate my evenings and weekends to pet care. I’m dependable, organized, and committed to giving each pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s an evening walk or a weekend drop-in, I make sure every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. When I’m taking care of someone’s pet, my goal is to make them feel completely comfortable and loved while you’re away. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible; mealtime, walks, playtime, and of course, plenty of cuddles! I live just a short walk from a dog park, which is perfect for safe play and getting some energy out. I also enjoy going on neighborhood walks or spending time outside if your dog prefers a calmer pace. Every pet is different, so I make sure to adjust to their personality and comfort level. Whether it’s keeping them active, giving extra attention, or just being a friendly face while you’re gone, I treat every pet like they’re my own.
About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.
“I am extremely happy with Joanna! My dog, Loki had a fantastic time and he was just as happy as he usually is, I could totally tell by the pictures she sent me all the time. I am very grateful for the time she spent with him and how well she took care of him. I will definitely have her stay with him again in the future.”

“Lizeth was amazing! She took great care of our two cats! She sent frequent updates, including lots of photos. She went above and beyond, even taking time to play with our cats! One of our cats is shy and timid however she felt comfortable and relaxed with Lizeth. I would definitely recommend!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for Samoyeds, Alaskan Malamutes, and Corgis, so I’m comfortable with both large and small breeds and their very different needs. High-energy dogs like Samoyeds and Malamutes need plenty of exercise and attention, while Corgis are smart, curious, and sometimes a little stubborn, which requires patience and consistency. I always tailor walks, playtime, and routines to each dog’s size, personality, and energy level to keep them happy and safe. I have dogs so I’m free for all the time if you need me to. I’ll be very careful and on time to take care of your pets. I always prioritize safety and comfort when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and pay attention to behavior, appetite, and mood. I make sure doors, leashes, and feeding instructions are handled carefully, and I treat every pet with patience, respect, and genuine care.
About: We’ve owned many dogs growing and are super excited for the opportunity to be around animals while living in a new state. We've house sat for neighbors, friends and family for a number of years so please take a look at our testimonials. We both have very flexible schedules! Matthew is an PhD student and Mary Beth works from home, so we're both available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. We love walking and biking around the West End of Hartford, but we do have cars for extra flexibility. Your pet's safety and comfort are our top priorities. When house sitting, we follow your routine closely to keep things familiar and stress-free for your pet. We’re respectful of your home and aim to leave it just as we found it—if not better. For dog walking, we use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always keep a close eye on your dog’s comfort and energy level. During doggy daycare, your pet will have a calm, supervised environment with lots of attention, play, and breaks as needed. We're happy to accommodate special needs, medications, or quirks—just let us know!
“Katie went above and beyond on her drop in visit and sent us a wonderful check in with photos & details! 10/10! Will definitely reach out again for any future needs. Thank you so much Katie!”

Their needs is always my priority. When I dog sitting, I don’t normally go in and out, I always make sure I stay with them because they feel lonely and nervous about their owner is not around. I walk them every hour, take them to park and dog park. I am now between jobs and taking care of my dog whole day at home. He is a super friendly 11 month old Aussie. Fixed male, he loves all dogs and get along with everyone I have been sitting before. He loves when there’s other dogs around. He has no problem with sharing treats and mom’s attention. We have a 1.5 acre big backyard to let them do business, running and play fetch and I always make sure I am at the yard with them. Our neighborshood is away from traffic, quiet and safe for walking dogs. I take dogs to dog park everyday around 5:00 pm for 1-2 hours to burn the extra energy and boost appetite for dinner. I love just looking at them for hours, pay close attention to dogs. How many time they scratch the ears and how many times they pee and poop. I am also good at cooking fresh nutritious dog meal. My dog loves chicken breast, chicken liver/beef liver, carrots, pumpkin and sweet potato meal. I hope my dog Keanu and I can make the stay feels like a vacation and fun for your dog. I have a 3 floor house with big yard, 2 people 1 dog live in the house. The whole first floor is for dogs, with big living room, couch, beds and a crate. Many windows allow them to look front yard and back yard. They can wander around to any floor and room they like, so even if they want some alone time, there are plenty of space for them. I can’t host cats due to my husband allergies, but I always love to go to your place to clean and feed the cats. I am between jobs so I am home 24/7. I go to the yard with dogs every hour to do business or play. Their schedule is always my priority. I always make sure to go to the yard with the dogs. Clay Arsenal pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jill did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She was very professional, attentive to any requests as well as the special needs of my youngest and treated my kiddos with love and care every day, including the days when the elevator gave out in my apartment complex. I was initially concerned about a sitter because my eldest is very skittish around strangers due to previous bad experiences with others, but I was surprised to see that she warmed up to Jill right away. 10/10. If ever I need to have a sitter for my kiddos again, I'll be calling Jill.

We absolutely loved Jersey! She was incredibly sweet, took her time with Paisley and followed all of our notes perfectly. It was clear right away how much care and attention she puts into what she does. Paisley adored her which meant so much to me and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such great hands. I’m so thankful we found Jersey and will definitely be using her again!

Madison took amazing care of our two large dogs during our overnight away, and we couldn’t be more grateful. She made sure they got plenty of playtime in the yard, kept them happy and tired out, and gave them so much love and attention with every visit. She was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and communicative throughout, and we truly looked forward to the adorable photos she sent. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. We can’t thank her enough!
This was the first time that Talia has sat for us and we were pleased with the experience. She was punctual each day and did everything we asked of her. Julie is very shy, but she did greet Talia each day and seemed OK in the pictures Talia sent us, which was very reassuring to us. We also appreciated the daily updates from Talia.
