Pet Sitting Blue Hills

About: I have been a pet sitter for 5 years now, with dozens of clients who frequently teach back out to me to watch their pets again. I have worked as a veterinary assistant as well as a kennel attendant for two summers and have a significant amount of experience caring for pets and their various needs. I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I also have experience working with reactive dogs insuring that your dog will be fully comfortable with me while you are gone. I am a student at the University of Hartford, so Monday through Thursday I would be stopping by between classes spending as much time with them as possible. Friday through Sunday I have no classes and so would be able to spend nearly the whole day with your pet. I am comfortable working with any sort of home from apartments to fenced in back yards. I am also fully commited to caring for your pets however they are used to being treated. This includes unconventional meal times, specific schedules that need to be followed and more. I also have experience working with animal medication and would be able to give your pet any medications they need.

About: I had dogs for the first 24 years of my life, and believe no time spent with animals is wasted. I've cat sit and roomed with cats in the past and now love them just as much. I've worked with various animals throughout my life, from working at a horseback riding camp, to a pet store, to an animal sanctuary. my weekends are Sunday-Monday. I work as an archivist at a museum 9-5 during the week, but I'm still happy to take evening/nighttime bookings on work days. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals I've been a pet owner most of my life, and an animal lover for all of it. I've worked with animals across multiple jobs in my life. All animals have unique personalities, so adaptation and individualized care is very important to me. My roommates and I do not have any pets currently. We keep a clean and cozy spacious apartment near Elizabeth Park.

We couldn’t be happier that we found Katie. She was excellent. Was able to accommodate multiple day drops in to care of our dog while we were gone for a week. About: I am new to the pet sitting game, but I am not new to taking care of my responsibilities well. I am a part-time live-in caregiver for my 92-year-old grandmother, and I housesit and pet-sit for my friends. My references are available upon request! I can’t wait to take care of your pets! I’m currently working part-time, so I have more availability to do pet care. I have religious obligations that I also work around. I will not accept jobs that conflict with my work schedule so that I can be there for your pets! I make sure to respect my clients’ homes as my own, and return everything to as it was given to me. About: I’ve always been around dogs for many years and family and friends have entrusted me with their pet care. For their pets, I have done bathing, feeding, regular walks, and playtime. I have flexibility in the afternoons after work from 4pm and forward. Monday through Friday and open during the weekends. Plenty of time to care for your pet! I am only able to offer drop in visits and dog walks if needed since I do not own a place, I currently rent and able to drive to other places.

About: At home I've been taking care of Ramsey, my small, high-energy, dog for almost 9 years. In these 9 years I've gained a larger a sense of responsibility and my love for animals has grown tremendously. I know how to communicate with dogs and read dog body language in order to cater to their needs and give them best care. As a recent graduate, I have more flexibility in my schedule, I can dedicate ample time to caring for my pets. This includes feeding, grooming, walking, and spending quality time with them to ensure their well-being and happiness. Engaging in activities like playing, training, and companionship not only enriches their lives but also brings a sense of purpose to my day. While job hunting, I find solace and a sense of responsibility in taking care of my pets, creating a positive and fulfilling routine amidst my current situation. At home I make sure my dog cannot access anything that can harm him. I close doors to the bathroom so he can’t access the trash can and I put gates up around the house to areas he can’t be in. During walks I am very careful and aware of my surroundings. If I walk at night, I walk in a well lit area with a few friends.
