Jillian can care for
Availability
Sitting: I aim to leave your pet alone for no longer than 4-6 hours. I spend overnight in your home (about 10 pm to 7 am) and have two extended (at least an hour) drop ins per day. Pets typically do best with fewer, longer drop ins than frequent, short visits, so I build my schedule to give your pets plenty of quality time without the anxiety of constant in and outs. I’m happy to discuss your pets’ unique needs and collaborate on the best care plan. I am unable to provide constant care (leaving for less than 2 hours at a time).

I adapt to your pet's unique needs. On walks, I can handle slow sniffaris, quick-paces, and everything in between. With cats, I let them determine how much interaction they receive during a visit. I'm happy to sit quietly so they can get used to me or play together with more outgoing cats.
Information Jillian H. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know any special needs, rules, quirks, or reactivity triggers your pet has and how they prefer to interact with people (fetch, cuddles, having their space, etc).

Caring, Professional, & Insured
Pet care experience
I have been a full time pet sitter for three years and have a track record for providing excellent care for my furry, feathered, and scaly clients and peace of mind for their owners. I'm insured to protect your pets and home while they're in my care and regularly consult with my friends across animal industries (including veterinarians, trainers, rescuers, and breeders) to build my best practices for care. In addition to Rover's standard services, I also offer pet taxi services, co-walks with one of my dogs, and play dates with one or more of my dogs to help socialize your pup.

Reviews

Jillian is truly exceptional! She is caring, diligent, and utterly professional in every way. Her communication was thorough and reassuring throughout, and she followed our feeding and cleaning routines to the letter without ever needing a reminder. What really sets her apart, though, is how engaged and attentive she was with my cat, Ralphie. She didn't just show up and go through the motions. She genuinely connected with him. He adores her, and honestly, that's the best endorsement I could ask for. If you want someone who will treat your cat like family, Jillian is the sitter to book. Highly, highly recommend!

Jillian is the best! She is very kind and communicative but most importantly she takes great care of our pup who loves her!

This was our first time having Jillian take care of our 3 cats while we were away for 9 days. We met with her before our trip and initially I felt at ease. Jillian is a very friendly person and gives off immediate vibes of confidence and responsibility. My three cats adapted to her well and were very happy to see her each time she arrived. She fed them, cleaned litter boxes and spent time with them. We would definitely have Jillian pet sit for us again in the future!

Jillian looked after my 3 cats, 2 of whom need medication twice daily. This was my first time using Rover. She kept me informed on each visit, so that I knew all was going well. My very shy cat was even comfortable with her. My older boy wants to eat everyone else's food and she kept him under control. Would definitely book with Jillian again.
